Been playing this course this year about 5 times. Love the challenging golf course. But when I came out this last Sunday to play a great round I made sure and asked the guy working the desk. I said I have a hard question that I need to ask. He said go ahead I asked him do you have fivesomes on the golf course playing today. He paused and said no I have no fivesomes on the books. I said great because I've came out here and I'm always behind a fivesome. He said no I'm good today. Literally the 3rd hole look across at the 7th a fivesome then the next group a fivesome. Next thing the sheriff comes and stops and then just pulls off and keeps them all together. I was laughing the whole time. Later at the last 5 holes 5 old guys all walking playing a fivesome. Asked them if they made a fivesome tee time and they said yes. I will not be back out to your course because you dont care about flow of play. Gray course but it a 5- 1/2 hour round. Great job I will stay at spanaway and brookdale. Get it right it's simple.

I love this course and the challenge of each hole. Every year the course plays better and i cant wait for the next development.

$55 Weekend rates walking????? You got to be kidding! Also, for that rate Ryan Moore can't afford to put sand in the bunkers?????? Even the grounds crew working there is saying it's not worth the price. Classic needs to adjust their prices or they will lose members. I'm sure some has walked up to the pro shop rep on the weekends and said "I have a tee time. $55 sir. What??? Sorry, It's not worth it. I'll find another golf course".

THE price is not worth the quality of the course. Late fall round, greens were in rough shape. Still some fairway issues after the tree removal. The practice range needs a LOT of work.

Difficult course, but fair. Greens reachable for old guys too. But if you miss, you're punished severely. Greens are fast, hard, and very well protected.

only inconsistency I saw was the obscene amount of depressions (not sure what else to call them) around the greens. challenging course if you don't hit straight off the tee.

I really enjoy playing here. The course as a good mix of challenging holes and holes that you should score pretty well on. I generally show up as a single golfer without a tee time (bad form, I know), but the staff is always friendly and accommodating if possible. I love the addition of the drink cart (they didnt have that several years ago). With the other local courses that have closed, Classic sees alot more player traffic, but i think they do a pretty good job keeping up with it.

Five hour round because management allowed a group of 10 "members" to go out as two groups of five. Four open holes in front of the first group by the end, waited on every shot for 16 holes after catching up to them on #3. Management was absolutely no help. No marshal on the course. Course in rough shape 100 yds in or so due to unfilled divots. A fun course has not changed, but the experience sucked due to poor management.

Pat Braun

Always in great condition!! Beautiful day for a great walk ruined by mediocre play..

Brian Meade

Beautiful condition and reasonably hard golf course.

Jeffrey Baker

Home course of the Bethel Braves and Zeke Endy.

COURSE WAS NICE BUT HAD TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SAND TRAPS OR LACK OF SAND IN THE TRAPS. MORE LIKE CLAY TRAPS. PUT SOME SAND IN THEM AND IT'S A 4.5.

Stern test of golf from the tips but always fun and in good condition. Easy to walk. Plenty of tees to choose from to make it enjoyable for all. In my top 10 to play in the Puget Sound, would play it more often if I lived closer. Great golf, minimal frills.

Been one of my favorite local courses for 15 years now. Just be sure to bring your "hit it straight off the tee" game or expect a LONG day!

When I pulled into this course I was surprised I heard how nice of a course it was but had bad curb appeal. Luckily that changed when I started playing very nice course. I have not played it since they cut all of there trees down but I think it would be a great links course.

So this may be the most fun golf course to play - anywhere, anytime. Some of the more unique greens complexes, fair but challenging fairways, and unreal conditioning for a public facility. If you're looking for a place to challenge your game or simply a place to kick back in your cart and enjoy a few cold ones with your buddies, Classic is your place. Played it throughout my life, and still can't get enough of this place - plus it may be in the best condition its ever been on. Oh yeah, their men's club is awesome too.

I really like this course a lot. Primarily because the greens are fast, have plenty of contours, and they roll true. And you really need to plot your way around this course and think about which side you want to come in from and which side is the better miss in case you don't hit it as well. I love courses that reward good shots and punish bad ones and this course does exactly that. Very impressed with the challenge this course poses

Very nice and challenging course with tight dogleg and bunkers. I'll play again in the near future..

James Prasse

This course is a joke. The greens are the worst in the Tacoma area. They did not aerate the greens this spring and did a poor job last year. The holes from last year are still visible. They cups are in the same spot for the past 4 to 5 days and are grass is growing into th hole. The greens were not mowed or the cups moved even though there was a tournament today. There was no prep of the bunkers either. This course is in dismal shape. Take your money elsewhere. How can they with good conscience associate PGA Tour player Ryan Moore with this goat track?
