Beautiful course and views of the Columbia gorge and well maintained. Lots of ups and downs not too much water features or traps but narrow fairways surrounded by forest. Bring some extra balls.

First off let me State I am not a golfer and have never golfed here. I'm giving five stars to the lodge, the staff in the restaurant, and bar, the beer selection and a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the big city. I have stayed the night here once the hotel is great . But mostly I come up & have some craft beers in the bar. Eat a good meal . Then walk around and see what other people are up to It's a Wonderful establishment.

Fun course with amazing views and a friendly staff. It’s fairly challenging due to the tight fairways so make sure to bring extra golf balls. Grounds were maintained really well. Most of the holes are in the trees so unless it’s incredibly windy you’ll be fine.

This course is challenging! The greens (other than the 1st one, which strangely had 2 types of grass growing) were exceptional. Very narrow fairway and everything is lined with forest-like trees. Hit your ball right or left and- good luck finding it! A few short par 5s, some steep hills and some doglegs made for a fun round. Played with my regular 4-some and we all had our struggles, great day on the course as the rain missed us. No much thickness in the rough, but the narrowness and tree lined holes was all the difficulty we needed! I'll definitely be back!

The rooms were very nice. They keep with the cabin decor throughout the entire large hotel spaces. It was a very cozy getaway.

It is a beautiful golf course with wonderful views. However, it is technical with very narrow fairways. Really a test for even a mid handicap golfer. I enjoyed the course but unfortunately play was dreadfully slow. 4 3/4 hours for my twosome could have been much different if the on course Marshall (who we saw frequently) could have done something about it. Apparently he was told by the slow players that they would not comply with his request to speed up their play. This left me and my playing partner to wonder what a course Marshall is for then. Odd to say the least. Faster play and this track is a solid 4 stars. As it was, sadly, players having the right to play as they wish is not in keeping with the fine traditions of this game.

Front nine was easy, back nine was very difficult with tight fairways. Not for the weak at heart. Loved the course and the staff was very friendly.

This is a great course! Don't let the par 70 fool you and bring lots of balls because damn are the fairways tight! Good price though and kept up well. If you can keep it in the fairway you'll do fine. There isn't much rough before you encounter very think bushes in the tree line that like to hide your ball.

This is a pretty tough Golf Course. Some narrow Fairways with nothing but Forest on either side so bring a lot of golf balls. The scorecard is written with some humor which is kind of fun for a golf course. I'm not a particularly good golfer so I lost a lot of balls. So a more skilled golfer would probably enjoy this course more.

Very nice Golf course. Tight fairways so course management is very important. Staff is very accommodating. We felt welcome from the minute we walked into the Pro-Shop. That continued at the start where the starter gave good advise and from there on the golf course while running into the rangers and beverage cart. Very friendly. Get a Golf Cart. It's hilly.

What a fantastic place to play golf. The course was in fantastic condition. This course is not for beginners. It requires well thought out shot placement. The fairways are lined with trees and shrubs. There are a few holes that let you grip it and rip it, but well placed tee shots are the norm. I highly recommend Skamania!
