Awful. We booked my parents 50th anniversary party here. Got nothing but attitude and extremely bad customer service from the get go. We paid for 4 hours and they tried to shut the bar and food services down an hour early and started feeding our food to the staff! We were very polite and asked that the staff please keep continuing to serve the guests as we paid for it. Got nothing but angry mean and unacceptable responses. Our whole family was offended. It was an extremely hot day and we asked for the doors to be opened and some fans because there was no air conditioning and every one was very uncomfortable. The manager told us to move the fans around the room and my parents ( whos party it was) had to go around opening windows and picking up fans and replacing them. DO not book a function here.

My daughter got married at Shuksan on July 19th, and I must sing the praises of the Event Organizer, Darcie, and her staff. Not only did they do exactly what they promised, but they went over and above in service and attention to detail. This was a big event, 90+ guests, ceremony, reception and buffet dinner. We were on the premises from 2 to 9:30pm and also the evening before. Before the event we had lots of questions and special arrangements for local beer and wine, food, decorations, etc, and Darcie and staff fielded all the answers and came through with all the planning details. As the day started, I as mother of the bride, and the bride did not have to attend to miniscule details, Darcie and staff did it all. Food was prepared and buffet trays were refreshed as they became empty. They even attended to the memories, getting the bridal party a bottle of champagne and sending them out in a golf cart away from the crowd, to have a few moments before returning to the reception. They adjusted quickly from outdoor ceremony to indoor, and made things happen on time. Even the one little mix-up with a couple of special gift forks for the Bride and Groom was quickly resolved. They were found, clean and in a safe place for their return. Needless to say, I couldn't be happier, and gave them all an additional tip for their professional efforts. Thank you Darcie and Staff!

A hidden gem about a 10-15 minute drive from the Bellingham exit off I5. A steal @ $37 for 18 holes including ridding golf cart (no GPS). Turned out to be a good decision as there is quite a bit of change in elevation, even though the course is pretty flat from the second shot in (except for 3-4 approaches to elevated greens). No way I could have enjoyed my round as much if I carried (I'm in decent shape) and no way would I have been able to get in consecutive rounds of 86 (lost 2 balls) and 79 in the same day. Drainage wasn't a big issue on the fairways except for the 3rd shot on the 2nd to last Par 5 (play in mid April spring weather), although I can see why some complain about plugged balls... especially off the elevated tees and if they have the tendency to sky tee shots. Not the longest of course from the blues, but decent (quite short off the whites... not sure about the reds). The greens have average speed and relatively flat. Watch out for the slope running towards the fairways on the elevated greens (especially on Index 1 Par 5). All in all a gorgeous course in great winter conditions. We will most definitely be back!

Great course. Big fairways but a few tight holes that are very challenging. The yardage plays much shorter than the card with elevation drops on many holes. I always have fun playing this course.

Overall poor customer service. Waited 5 minutes for a cart with a rude starter, asked for a Togo box or bowl at the grille - he informed us they didn’t have them. I pointed to the boxes within plain sight in the kitchen and he informed us that “she doesn’t let us give them out.” Not sure who “she” is but it seems the grille manager is pretty poor and has her employees lie to customers. Course is fine (with exception of muddy water holes throughout the course) - but would recommend going elsewhere for an all around good experience

Awful customer service Booked a very special occasion here and got treated like naughty school children whenever we asked a question. They tried to put the food away early and started feeding our food to their staff. Closed the bar down when guest were still arriving. Horrible rude snarky comments from woman who runs the place. Avoid!

5 star for golf, 1 star for catering. We went for the mother's day brunch. The food was on par with a holiday inn breakfast. My slice of prime rib was real thin (an attempt to hide dry beef). Nearly all of the other food I had was cold. For $28.00, I would expect a custom omelette bar, waffle makers, or something a little more fresh. Additionally, we had reservations for 16 people and there were 16 chairs added to spot suitable for maybe 12. Not the family gathering you want to show up late for. Luckily for us, we got there early. Just an overall disappointment.

Have played the course many times this year. It is our go to favorite course in the area. The course is in excellent condition including the greens. If you enjoy walking when golfing be prepared for a good workout as there are several elevation changes. There are several elevated greens that not only provide for added distance on a good drive but also great scenery. The course offers a perfect setting for 4 hours of enjoyable golf. No homes surrounding the course and or traffic noise. Just beautiful scenery including Mt. Baker, deer and birds. Greens roll true and will hold a good shot. If you are on the green in regulation you have an honest chance at birdie.
