The Prospector course at Suncadia Resort, rated 4-1/2 stars, is a championship layout that ranks with some of the best in Washington state. This tree-lined parkland course provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area.

Beautiful course, but the Marshall's were overly aggressive at trying to hurry everyone along. We were asked to pick up the pace several times when we were waiting for the people in front of us on almost every hole. They also ran out of food at 12:30 so we had to finish the back 9 without lunch.

We played on a Thursday morning and found the course to be quite lovely. The course is carved right out of an evergreen forest and has a true north west feel to it, without having to travel over the mountains and deal with continuous rain and 100+ days in a row of clouds during the season. From the whites, the course is very manageable and has a lot of fun holes. A couple are set up, daring you to go for the green on a par four while the others are laid out very nicely with plenty of sand and water throughout. We all appreciated the fact that the rough isn't 8 inches long everywhere and it doesn't require you to play at a professional level to score relatively well. A great course and not overly expensive on the weekdays. Well worth checking out!

Played over the weekend. Course was in great shape, greens were rolling true and pretty quick. Love the layout and it's a tough track. I thought it was worth the pricey green fee. Do yourself a favor though and don't waste your time at Rope Rider. The course was in terrible shape. I've played municipal courses that were in far better shape than Rope Rider.

The GPS carts are annoying as hell. Constantly thought we were off the cart path when we weren't. Course was in great shape, but would much rather use a cart without the electronic leash.

Played this superb mountain course yesterday (10 May ) in almost 80 degree weather and no humidity - it was outstanding. The course has come through the winter snows well and no doubt taken some real work by the groundskeepers to get it in shape by now. Greens a little slow yesterday with some early season sanding but absolutely perfect condition. This is a "must play" for anyone in the Northwest or even better while staying at Suncadia.

I was modestly impressed by the layout and price. I was a little perplexed because they laid down sand on the greens within the past day or two, but there was no aeration marks. Putting was, well, less than ideal. I expect sand in spring and fall, not now. I think it is a good course for me (14 handicap)... Just not a fan of sanding in the summer.
