We golfed at McCormick Woods on July 7th, 2015. I have golfed here before and had a good experience but this one was not. The course is in terrible shape. It is so dry that in some areas on the fairways you are hitting out of bare dirt. The municipal courses in the area are in way better shape for a lot less money- $80 for these conditions is way way too much. In addition, there were no amenities available - no beverage cart, no snack shack and nothing in bottle or can form from the bar to take out on the course. Probably will not return

Fun course with lost of elevation change but I would not recommend playing it has rained recently unless you like losing most of your shots in the fairway.

No warning the entire course was lined with brush from tree removal, greens were worse than Tyee (a now-closed $5 course.) Will not be going back - a complete waste of money.

RMG states that they have clear cut a lot of old growth on The Classic, Oakbrook & McCormick Woods due to moss infecting their greens. Anybody familiar with the greens & golf in the PNW could debate this move & the grass choice they use for their greens in the first place. Clear cutting has absolutely nothing to do however with the fact that you are lucky to find a patch of grass to hit off of in their fairways as most of them are dead hardpan & if you happen to not find the supposed fairway you are subject to anything including plenty of embedded rocks to chip your irons. When questioning the pro shop manager about the condition of the course she stated that every course in the area was the same, which is just not true, and felt as if $60 to play this repugnant golf course was appropriate. It's one thing to go through transition & try to improve a product, but totally another to have no integrity while doing so. RMG should extremely lower their green fees & notify all customers of course conditions when booking a tee time.

Personally, not worth the $90 to play. Lots of bare spots on the course, houses everywhere. I'd recommend Whitehorse and Gold Mountain Olympic over this course.

Nice course but overpriced tight fairways and landing areas, undulation of fairways and hardpan on the sides allow missed shots to disappear into the brush, get a detail map if possible, several blind shots with trouble lurking

My first time at McCormick Woods. A challenging course, but it appears to be right on the cusp of falling into disrepair. The tee's were in pretty rough shape, and the overall impression was of a course that is trying but not quite succeeding to hang on. Probably won't go back.

I like the course, love the staff and the practice area is pretty decent (grass tees on range). But the place is getting way too pricey. Used to be a better value, but now overpriced. However it’s usually in good shape and the restaurant is nice.

Wonderful place to play golf. This place is set very well in a forest in a links style layout. It is a long walk which they encourage. Wildlife and nature abound, I love the adjacent natural grasses along the cart paths and tees. The course drives fair with plenty of opportunity for shot makers, 7 tee boxes lets you have that variety of golf for all players. I wish I could take the greens to my home course.

It is a clean beautiful place. I mainly go there for lunches once a month. The food is good especially their fries and monti crisco sandwich. They have awesome hamburgers. Their soups are delicious. They have changed the menu, which was upsetting as some of choices were awesome choices. The restaurant is small but very nice. The service is outstanding. The gulf course is beautiful.

Portions were a bit smaller than expected and the roast beef was a tad chewey, but the food was good, the server was pleasant, and the dining area has a good atmosphere. General note...They do need to tighten the cable railing and do some other maintenance & upkeep on the patio outside of the dining area.

Too high priced now. I belonged to the men's club there years ago when the course was in better shape. If your tee shot is not straight down the middle, your ball has zero chance of staying on the course. It it too dry (the sides of the fairways) and the ball Is all but gone, even though you hit a good shot. Carts are too expensive......no discounts for seniors or veterans (of which, I am both). Cart girls were great and the 9th hole shack was very accommodating. The price is just too high compared the the other local courses, like Trophy Lake. T.L. is much more well maintained, although a sturdy test of golf!

I photographed a wedding here (M. Laine Photography) last fall and it was a beautiful setting. Since it rained all day, the ceremony and reception were held indoors, but I can't wait to come back and take advantage of their gorgeous landscaping. I loved the string lights in the reception area, and it was large enough to host a good sized wedding. The staff was very helpful and nice as well.

I love McCormick Woods. The golf course, the houses, the parks, the deer, everything about it. Big pond Is great bass fishing. The golf course is mid quality, but the experience is too notch! I've built several houses here over the years and it's always a pleasure.

They made sure on the website as I confirmed my reservation that it was walk only. I show up and my partner I'd in a cart and there are carts in front and behind also. Add that fact to having no one starting golfers and you have one big mess. I basically jogged the course. Let's not meantion the bottlenecks at the Tees. Probably my worst round of golf EVER. Which sucks because I was looking for a nice mellow day off playing golf. Will not be going back.
