Taking into account the inevitable trials one anticipates during a round of winter golf in western washington, the course and it's crew are exceeding expectations. The green's are nearly summertime excellent- fast, smooth and roll true. The bunker care is where I believe the Madrona team has shown the most noteworthy improvement, in leaps and bounds! Well done Stutsman, you and your team are raising the bar.

It's the mainstay golf course in Gig Harbor with easy access from the highway, the airpirt, or uptown shopping. There's a tournament almost every weekend. The menu at Hackers has improved dramatically and it's a fine place to sit for a gameday beer. They even have a full kids menu. It's fun to let the wee ones test their skill on the putting green; can't take them out past that point, though.

Bad t-boxes, bumpy and crazy fairways - enough that I won't return. I've played it plenty in the past 30 years and can't hardly remember why I would have put myself through that. I did know a marshal ot there 20 years ago - I guess that was it. It's still a green pretty though.

My daughter purchased a gift card to Madrona Links for me for Fathers Day. I have played there multiple times a year for many years. Upon presenting the gift card to pay for a round, I was told the "new ownership" is not honoring the gift cards from the previous ownership. I could understand them not honoring gift cards for merchandise or food & beverage, but there is no "cost" for them to let me on the course ... sure would have gone a long way toward keeping this customer happy to let me use the card. Instead, they treated me like someone they don't care about ... I will return the favor and never return. There are plenty of other beautiful courses in the area that treat their patrons with respect.

I wish I liked this course more because it’s so convenient, but...... 1) There are some awful, mini golf holes. Blind pins and holes that penalize good shots. 2) Nobody, and I mean NOBODY ever fixes their ball marks. 3) No water on the course and no cart girls to be found anywhere. Tough to stay hydrated. On the plus side, people there are nice enough (To get a couple stars), but you should enjoy golfing on a golf course.

This is the best little golf course in the area! The greens & fairways are in terrific condition. The pro shop isn't well stocked with any extras. The women's clubs are fun & very active with over 50 members in each club. As of today, the club house is stocking up with great Logo attire! Yea! Come check it out! The Pro is very helpful & his golf shop staff is friendly & great to work with. Call ahead for tee times!

Madrona is good place to golf and a good place to eat and drink. Staff is friendly courteous and helpful. Course is okay, kind of on the easy side of challenges, but there are some holes that make you grit your teeth. I like the food there, it is basic, but prepared well and not lacking in proportions. They have a great bartender there by the name of Cheryl who is funny and quite the "people" person.

Great course, well maintained and lots of hills! The greens are fun with lots of slope, but they roll very true and consistent. The club house staff were great and very helpful. The price was very reasonable, and a great deal.

Hands down this place has the best prices in gig harbor for happy hour and daily specials for food. I highly recommend taco Tuesday's. They have pull tabs and a full bar. Gorgeous outdoor seating and friendly staff. Orders come out quickly. I wish they offered to go orders by phone.

Very happy with the course for the price. Narrow fairways, but short course. Shane in the Pro Shop is fabulous! The food is good, not great, but they have TV's and an outside deck that is great when it's nice out.

You can spend waaaaaay more money and not have near as delicious a meal. This restaurant is top notch---food, service, and a fun, festive atmosphere. Mon-Fri offers nightly specials. Go for it. Each night is GREAT!

"Little" Gem in Gig Harbor... Shorter 18 hole course, but has very challenging greens. Always in great shape, and you can't beat the early bird "breakfast"special.

Love playing Madrona. Staff is friendly, course is well maintained. Lots of work in recent years to keep the course drained. Short and tight course that's just challenging enough to keep you humble, but still boosts your confidence if you keep it in the middle. Definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Gig Harbor.

The golf course is good. But the restaurant is a different story. Went there last night for the prime rib special and literally sat there for 25 minutes getting ignored by the "waitress". We just got up and left. I was to have a nice dinner with my parents, which I did but at another place. I'll golf there again but as far as eating there, no thank you.

Greens and fairways are in excellent condition. Had fun playing in an annual tournament. Restaurant has excellent lunches.

I can only comment on the Friday fish and chips special as this is our only experience. The fish was on, but large pieces, on which the batter does not stay. The fries are crinkle cut like you take out of the freezer at home. The cold slaw was bland.
