Attended and played in Sept. 2015. Rental clubs, Cart, Balls, Tee's, great staff, layed back easy going atmosphere to start with. Nailed my first tee shot a good 285. This course is gorgeous and well maintained. Obviously the mountains, the river, the scenery is breath taking. I had a grand time, and even took a photo of a deer, laying near the cart path as well passed it. Just hangin' out. The whole experience was Awesome ! Will definitely return when I visit the State again.

Gorgeous golf course!! Beautiful mountain and river views. Great for all golf abilities. Friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable folks in pro shop that’s stocked with any of your golfing needs. And, if you’re in town on any 2nd or 4th Saturday in the month, sign up to play with their Saturday Swingers!! Great group playing a nine-hole scramble. Very social & FUN!!

Great course in the trees and along the river. It is not a difficult course but does have its moments. Clubhouse staff was great and the course was in beautiful shape. We drove from Olympia area and will be back. Weather was great.

In short, this course is about 4 goats short of being a total goat ranch. Let's start with the entry into the building. The place is old, it smells old, the fixtures in it are old, etc. The golf pro shop is about the size of a generous walk in closet. The person behind the counter was very helpful and got us on our way quickly. We got into a cart and quickly realized that the carts should have been retired about 5 or 6 years ago. The upside was, it didn't break down or leave us stranded. The course: the layout was obviously done many years ago by someone who didn't design golf courses for a living. The entire area is full of old growth large trees which makes the course fairly attractive, in general. In specific, some of the tee boxes were plain dirt, a lot of the sand traps had stuff growing in them and were generally a mess. A lot of areas were either overgrown or just looked like pasture while others were bare dirt or pot holes. . Some of the hole layouts were a bit bizarre while others were simply straight up and back in sequence. This is a course that would be good for people who want something very casual where t-shirts and flip flops are accepted, basically easy, and relatively cheap. My wife gave it an extra star because it had restrooms out on the course instead of port-o-potties.

This is a well maintained course with a good layout and some nice holes/views. It's novice friendly, and I would recommend you expect the afternoon to play incredibly slow. This was the slowest pace of play, and I've been to a lot of municipal courses and this was painfully slow. This is a municipal course that charges like a resort, don't have the wrong expectations.

My brother and I had a terrific experience today at the Leavenworth GC. It started with David, the head Professional, helping us secure a tee time that would not interfere with other golfers as my brother has been living with Parkinson for (31) years and loves to golf this course, but we move a little slow. Then to top it off, our cart, which is a private cart we borrowed from a friend, died on the 14th hole. I called the clubhouse asking for help and within 15 minutes two great young employees showed up with a loaner cart and took our disabled card back to the shed. My compliments to your staff Dave, the Greens keepers and the restaurant manager for making this an exceptional day. Thank you for your hospitality! I recommend this course and the experience to any golfer. The scenery and conditions are special. (I only get to golf this course several times a year because I live on the west-side of the Cascades, but it's worth the trip.)
