Spanaway is a great course with long drives and nice greens. Prices are good and the course is shady. It's nice to get off work and have a place to go play 9-18 holes in peace.

The short brunette that works in the club house is awful. I have heard her talk about so many golfers that come and go from that course. I wouldn't have her work for me if she started problems with customers who pay good money to be there. I went there to golf and while eating I heard her talking about a friend of mine who golfs there, all which were lies. Also, people smoke at the driving range and it's nasty.

Playing good for the weather we are having. No standing water. They start punching the greens on Sunday afternoon. Last tee time 3pm. Should be ready for next weekend.

Would give it a 4 but greens were in poor shape the day I played due to winter kill and a recent aeration and some sod replacement. This is a fun course... Straight forward...You can see every landing area and greens are protected front side bunkers. Moderate undulation in all greens, beautiful old growth cedar and pine trees, well stocked pro shop, decent driving range, big practice green and an old school cafe for hot dogs and burgers. Shady neighborhood so don't leave valuables in your car exposed. Definitely need to visit again when greens heal up.

What an absolute joke. They promote a great deal on fathers day but over book the course. We payed for a cart but they didn't have any, so instead they give us push carts and promose to deliver us a cart when one comes in. Well that didnt happen. After 9 holes we go to get a cart but the nobody is in the pro shop, thankfully the lady in the restaurant took care of us and gave us a key. Needless to say it took 6 and a half hours to golf 18 holes most of our time was spent bitching with other golfers about the massive groups in front of us all. What a joke. Cant get a voucher cause they were closed and got stuck laying for a cart for 18 holes and only had one for 9. Absolutely pissed off......

BEWARE RUDE COMMUNITY 1st time in 30 years I didn't finish a game. Course was ok. Tree dropping covering every green. The staff were nice but golfers were rude and impatietient. They only play one stroke behind. Someone shot onto the green while me and my 8 year old were putting. And to make matters worse they over charged me then double charged me the elevated amount a second time the next morning. Sneaky golf course and I wouldnt recomend to anybody!!!!

I have a good time coming here. The restrooms can use some work. The restrooms on the course REALLY need work. The playing is pretty forgiving and open. Even if you do shank a ball into the trees you will usually find it and recover. The staff always seems to be friendly and enjoyable. I like the fact you can schedule a tee time online.

Went out for the Super Twilight Special had to admit the course was better than I thought it would be. For 20 bucks I got 18 holes a hot dog and a soda it even included range balls(I didn't use this feature but it was part of the amazing deal). The course was in good shape greens were good. I will be back soon

I like how it is a long course but I also like narrower fairways and holes with individual characters of slopes ect... This entire course is essentially flat and has very little variance from hole to another. Not a bad course for being in the City but a good alternative to the driving range.

New rule that u can't use chits till 11am really sucks. Changing the rules after u volunteer is typical cheap ass Pierce county. Save the time. Play Oak Brook instead.

For $50 you'd think they could blow the greens off once a day. No point in even trying on a putt over 10 feet. Too much tree debris on every single green. Bring your Ryobi blower. Count it as a club.

I am not an experienced golfer by any means. I golf maybe two times per year. However, I enjoyed this course. They have a nice driving range, chipping area, and putting greens. Their facility clean and their staff if relatively friendly. (I don’t know what it is about staff at golf courses but they are not friendly people - these guys weren’t so bad.) The course itself is very nice and well maintained. I cannot comment on the difficulty because well....I stink which means all courses are hard. :)

The $20 special for 18 holes, cart, hot dog and soda is a no brainer. Course is usually in pretty good shape and challenging enough. There can be slow play at times, you just have to know when to avoid it. Very good value for the $$.

Course is awesome but had troubles with kitchen. They didn't say a hamburger was gonna have lettuce on it. I did the deal for a bucket, burger, fries. When I got my burger, noticed it had lettuce on it, asked for a new one and the lady refused to make a new one due to me being allergic to lettuce. So I lost out on a meal I payed for. Other then that the food itself is very good :)

Great neighborhood golf course with wonderful staff. The driving range is covered but has limited flight golf balls. The grill is much improved and offers daily specials. If you are looking for improve your game, the lesson options from the pro are varied and can be tailored for individuals.
