Can't beat the price on the short 9. It's got a couple short holes under 50 yards. It's a good course for some quick practice, fun (drinking) with friends or a trip with the kids. The full 18 is in great shape, and also reasonably priced. The staff here have been great to me and my friends.
Excellent skate park and play ground! I love to take my nieces and nephews here to play on nice days
This is the best golf course in Beacon Hill.
Range is excellent, bar and staff staff is really cool and the course is likely the driest of the Seattle munies during the winter.
Great deals in the morning. Nice course except for the first 3 holes on the back 9 all being par 3. Good food in the cafe/bar.
Jefferson Golf Course is surrounded by beautiful trees and landscape. You'll forget that you're in the city.
Decent shape and nice driving range and putting green.
The golf course does not have adequate protection or distance to prevent a golf ball flying out from the park. Beware of walking or parking your car nearby. Recently, my wife parked her car near by and witnessed the ball hitting her car top of the hood. She found the ball and reported this incident to their staff immediately, and tried to discuss with the golf course manger about this. The manager refused for taking responsibility for this incident, and did nothing even though they found a player who is responsible for ball hitting out. I guess we are lucky that the ball didn’t strike her head. If you notice a dent in your car from going there, they will not do anything about it.
great place as long as you keep off the long grass
Great food and drinks. Great environment period!
Great day!
Great course clean well manage d
Beautiful views!
Everything--range, pro shop, access, parking, restrooms, restaurant--is in great shape and well-managed except the green part. Two stars for the course itself. Pretty good views from a few holes too.
Great watching up and coming golf talent in youth
Food was yummy. Not too spendy.
Good views of Eastside and Seattle. Well kept and good for less frequent players.
Loved this course, staff very friendly. First time playing this course and it was great for the greens were a little rough is all
Big place, a lot of things to play and the most interesting is sprinkler.
Awesome place. Heaters work. Beer and bucket of ball specials. I would love to go here more often.
Salvation army bbq it was great. Five star for a BBQ softball golf horshoe it was a fun time
One of the best kept secrets....awesome food, especially breakfast...Some of the best chefs I'm Seattle! P.s. I dont even golf, I just go for the food.
Very affordable and nice driving range, wish they had more variety of clubs to mess around with.
Nice park fun to barbeques and for the kids
Friendly staff! Good location! Clean building that is well maintained. We played the par 3 and enjoyed it all.
It's a very large Park and thrives in the sun, .
Loved It!
I do not golf. The course is large enough to hike through and no one bothers you.
I have never played Foot Golf before. I didn't even know this game. How I dearly missed out. I may even like good now. I was visiting Seattle and my plan was to catch up with my former soccer team on a Monday. Sadly they were having a bye week. Lucky for me, my former team organized a foot golf at the Jefferson Park. This was such a casual, leisurely take on playing golf with a soccer ball. Great selection of beer from the venue makes it even more fun. You have to try!
Good deal for your money. About what you'd expect from a muni course (which isn't a ton). Had fun playing it though. Go with a good buddy and don't take yourself too seriously (a great golfing motto for anyone).
Great place for our PGA Jr. Golf!
My girls like this park. It had zip lines, a water park for really hot days, swings, and slides. Just about everything a kid could hope to play with. Can't help the weather though.
It's a wonderful place parking overnight, even though there are a few signs saying otherwise. You can take a nap or other things..... "Wink wink".... If you catch my drift?.... No one bothers you.... Oh and if you're lucky you'll get to see the nocturnal, homeless, human grazing and tending to their nests.... It's almost magical.
Great place to walk nice views peaceful
Of the three courses that we visit, this one is by far the best with the friendliest and most helpful staff! Feels very welcoming and inviting!
The coarse was in decent shape for this time of year.
Great driving range and good price. I haven't played the course yet but I will soon.
Nice family friendly very clean
AIN'T LIKE THE GOOD OL' DAZE, BUT IT'S STILL GOLF!
Fun but not well kept and modifications disrupted the original layout. Also routing is dangerous because holes are so close to each other with out trees to block errant shots.
Nice course. Great driving range
Very nice driving range with food and drinks on-site. My only complaint is that there are no heaters on the top floor to keep you warm while golfing, yet there are heaters on the lower floor.
The staff is very nice and the smoked pork is delicious
The course greens were in excellent shape. Actually fairways were great too. It's a short par 69.
Friendly lady at first tee. Fun
Gorgeous views of downtown Seattle from driving range. Helpful front desk that answered all beginner questions.
Jefferson is a great deal and great place to play a 9-hole all day and practice on your short game. They have a variety of par-3 holes that are challenging on their 9-hole course. I went durning the summer and the staff were amazing. Their driving range is covered and spilt level. They have a very large putting area and if you want to play a full round they have a great 18-hole course as well. The 9- hole course is only 8-9 dollars, and “well used” It’s a great way to practice and spend your afternoon. There is a lot of parking. It’sworth checking out and playing one of Seattle’s coolest facilities.
Overall good condition. Out round was fast. Back nine is par 33; total for course is 69. Greens were very nice. Some mushy places in the fairway, but good overall.
Great staff, great youth program, well maintained course. The bar and grill is also a great place to hang out after a round.
Nice and modern facilities but course is boring and flat.
Jefferson Park Golf Course is a great spot to play golf south of Seattle.
Great local course
Great course for the price. Easy to walk too
Fun place to take my G’sons. They absolutely loved. It and cried when we had to leave. I do wish there was more shade
I absolutely love this place! Come here on my lunch once a week and it’s great.
Modern location - great for hitting a few balls.
Pace of play is horrible - close to 3.5 hours on the front 9. But good news is that a bunch of people left after the turn so back 9 was only a bit over 90 minutes, which was aided by 4 par 3's. Course is nice but they overbook tee times and to make it worse, group in front was 4 walkers that were really bad and really slow. I'd only come again only on a weekday morning or something - round was a Saturday afternoon and everyone was complaining about how slow it was
My life
Great place to fly kites and take the family.
Course is a little shorter than what I would want, but some of that is because it is a par 69 (one of the par 3s on the back 9 seems like it will become a par 4 again after some construction). Overall a good course, a bit drier than what I'm used to from Michigan. Fairways are tight, rough is short, and greens roll fast; very gettable and fun, although not a lot of variety. The range has top tracer on half of the bottom floor, which is an amazing add on to a practice session.
Good place to go to the driving range and round of golf
Friendly, relaxed, used to serving diverse clientele
Can always find a stall at driving range if willing to just hit irons on the second level, and great selection of draft beer and tall boys!
Clean and quiet
Decent public course
Great place to spend a couple of hours hitting golf balls. The front 9 is all a really fun course for a quick round.
If you’re looking for some golf and beers, this is the place to be. Really nice golf range and pro shop center! The food to very so so (don’t get the breakfast burrito) which brings the overall experience down.
Beautiful and the people love golf lol
Nice facility. Live music too!
Decent driving range.
Always a great time and friendly service get here after 2pm for quickest tee times
We went for lunch. No one came to the table after initial contact. The waitress/cashier/phone answerer/she had no time for us. We waited almost 20 minutes. My husband asked a cook in the kitchen if anyone could take our order. The kitchen worker said we have no time for you. We are very busy. Needless to say we decided to leave. I was completely disappointed. The food is usually very good. The guy in the kitchen told us to get in line. We had been there as I said before for at least 15minutes. We may take this off our lunch place. They were very rude. We don't need to put up with that bs.
Amazing driving range, restaurant ain't bad. Sunset views are phenomenal.
Ok, not really a golfer, just hit a bucket of balls
Jefferson Park Golf Course has a great driving range, friendly staff and a fun course with good prices. They smoke their own meats...bacon, pulled pork and chicken. This is a great place to grab some good food and drinks.
Friendly Staff. Nice bar.
A wonderful place for family and friends!
Seattle municipal golf at its finest
Had an awesome time with my nephew and daughter. The skate park was great. This park has something for everyone it seems. There's a golf course, tennis courts, basketball, and a playground. Plus plenty of open space to run or play soccer, football etc.
Underrated public course. If it was good enough for Freddie Couples to learn on, it will work for you.
This is a great place to learn the game of golf. I am also very happy to have met the members of Fir State Golf Club!
It's a waste of space.
Great city golf course. Fairways and greens are in good shape and the views are not bad either.
This review is for the driving range and staff, I haven't played the course yet. The driving range is great, though not real grass. It has two stories so lots of bays. It does get busy after work hours and on the weekends. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
For starters they have great food! The staff is so friendly and helpful. New top tracer is well worth the extra money. Have fun with the family, girls or even guys night out!
A big fan of skating there.
Water park, skate park, farmers market, playground with zip line
Nice range close to city
Love this place. Great family area with lots of things to do
Great but needs to fix the back 9
Jefferson Park golf range is a two story driving range. It's clean and well kept. Nice size putting green in the front and Full bar with about 6 craft beers on tap and rotation. Prices are reasonable for a bucket of balls and about $12 for 2 8 oz beers. Staff is nice. Nothing extraordinary here but nothing bad either. Being your clubs and smash some balls.
This park has tons of fun stuff to do for all ages. Kids love the water spray park
Jefferson Park Golf Course is the perfect place to play golf or even have s few drinks for happy hour.
I work before in Jefferson park
Awesome range! View back to downtown Seattle, and you can have a beer while you are practicing. Need the swing oil
We had a Wonderful Day!
Greens are in great shape this past Sunday!
Pretty cool course. The homeless problem in the parking lot is weird, but you get over that quickly.
Good value for your golf dollar, friendly staff.
I love the staff and the bar and the range and the par 3
After their make over a few years back, this is a really fun course. The double decker driving range is nice and clean. The view is fantastic, you can see the high rise and water of downtown Seattle. The club house food is cheap and really tasty. Fast and friendly staff. Best bargain in the city for 9 and 18 holes.
Good city course. Relatively cheap and in good condition. They have a driving range as well. Bus stop right outside also. Course itself isn't particularly challenging but good for weekend golfers
It's beautiful, nice place.
My new favorite past time is the driving range. 10 bucks buys a bucket of balls and I can whack away for an hour or so. Love it.
Great prices. Course is in good shape. Holes are on the shorter side. Nice driving range, good pitching practice area and nice sized practice green.
One of my favorite muni courses. Challenge enough and close to home.
Great food!! Check them out
Great spot overlooking downtown Seattle where golf if beyond reasonable both to play and hit balls..kids are free in the late afternoon!!
Very relaxing. Good service.
Very large, staff keep an eye on party's that are goofing off or play rally golf (fast and crazy)
Awesome digital ball tracking on the upper deck. Friendly staff and a nice place
Newly updated driving range with the new equppied shot tracker. MKes for a fun evening out at the driving range. Also MKes for a pricey one as well, the shot teacher is $25 per hour as of 2019 rates. The restaurant still kicks major taste buds! Great place to grab some good food and drinks. The 18 hole course still has it's short comings as it had to shorten 2 of the back 9 holes to a par 3. It's been like this for years. However it's a great place to play and have a good round.
Great course!
I have not been here in years! What an awesome improvement adding the awesome driving range! I'll be back!
Nice driving range
I
Course was in poor shape.
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
