It's a bit far from the feeling that it's a luxury ... and it's easy to come in and think of it as a golf course for two or two. The grass and the ground are good for golfing, and the course is surprisingly narrow, so it's difficult but fun to play. It's a 9-hole golf course, so if you turn 18 holes, you'll run the same course twice. Close to downtown Seattle (Original) 한국사람들 기준으로 보면 잔디 잘 깔린 퍼블릭 느낌? 고급지다...라는 느낌과는 좀 거리가 멀고, 편안하게 찾아와서 혼자던 둘이던 치고 가는 골프장이라고 생각 하면 됩니다. 잔디나 땅은 골프치기 좋고, 코스는 의외로 페어웨이가 좁아서 어렵긴 하지만 재미있게 플레이 할구 있네요. 다만 9홀 골프장이어서 18홀 돌려면 같은 코스를 두번 도는건데, 약간 teebox만 전후반 다르게 해와서 아기자기 한 맛은 있습니다. 시애틀 시내에서 가까워요

My wife and I had our wedding here on June 22nd, 2019. If you are looking for a great venue that is extremely flexible and great to work with, choose Glen Acres. Working with Jason was a dream. He was extremely professional, experienced, friendly and accommodating. During our initial meeting, he had numerous examples of events and weddings they had hosted, with detailed invoices down to the last fork used. Their prices are fair, and do not contain minimum alcohol or food purchases like a lot of wedding venues. On top of that the final invoice did not contain any extra fees or hidden charges. They allowed us to decorate the day before, perform our rehearsal the week of without any problems, and took care of almost all of the clean up. The venue is beautiful with the wonderfully landscaped greenery and Seattle skyline in the background, and also contains numerous locations on site for great photographs. Jason and his staff were wonderful. The food was exactly as it tasted during our tasting, if not better. Everyone at the wedding was impressed with the quality. Their chef was friendly and available, and was great with our one year old daughter. Speaking of the food, Glen Acres is extremely flexible with food options. From prime rib and hors d'oeuvres to more casual dining, they have every option that you are looking for and will work with you to ensure that you get what you want. Their servers were great, always smiling and professional and went above and beyond our expectations. You only get married once, but if for some reason I get married again, it will be at Glen Acres. Thank you to Jason and his staff for making our wedding amazing and magical!

This place is absolutely beautiful!! The views are magnificent, especially when you get a clear day with the skyline view in the background. We had my brother's wedding here. Jason, the general manager, is a star!! I have never worked with anyone so down to earth, hard working, helpful, flexible and accommodating. He and his team did an amazing job making sure our event was perfect, and I normally don't use the term perfect in planning weddings! Their food is awesome and the space is just beautiful. If you're looking for a venue for your special event, I promise you Glen Acres Golf and Country Club will not disappoint! A special thank you to Jason and your team! You're all awesome!!

Made a Tee time For 12:27 and showed up 10mins before my Tee time (12:17) only to find out they were having a shotgun tournament that day at 12:30. I was told " sorry for this but that Tee time was removed a week ago, there is nothing I can do other than give you a tee time for a different day" when that was a total lie because I reserved my tee time the same day at 9:30 as the tee time. I was really excited to play this course being that I grew up playing on Glen Acres and spent everyday of my summer break as a junior/teen playing on the course and have not played it in over 15 years. But I will not go back now because I do not want to show up for a scheduled tee time only to find out I cant play and have my whole day ruined.

Tin Cup wouldn't play here. Sorry I hate to say anything bad about anyone or anything but if it wasn't for the charity tournament held there, I would never have played that ridiculous 9 hole dirt track.

Awful people living there. The restaurant is not very good. The service is so slow if rather hunt my own food. People that live there are bullies if they don't like you. I lived there for 4 years I paid so much money to fix the pool, the clubhouse etc... Awful place

Let me tell you about one of Seattle's best kept secret wedding venues... Not a ton of weddings have been held here per se, but I foresee many in the future after our experience. My wife and I got married here, and Jason W, the Food and Beverage Director, is freaking saintly. They need to revise his title to Food and Beverage and Wedding Director. This man and his awesome staff were absolutely PHENOMENAL with helping us plan, accommodating our wishes above and beyond. I cannot overstate how fantastic Jason did helping us figure everything out, and dealing with all the chaos leading up to and including the wedding. Long story short, the pricing was awesome, and we wouldn't have been able to make our wedding what we wanted anywhere else we got quotes from. View was beautiful, everything just immaculate. Fireplace and Skyline room are both about as good as venues get at their prices. Eventually we will come back to this review and update with more info because this place deserves an essay about how awesome they are, but one of the many highlights as a sneak peak: my mother-in-law wanted to have fresh Lechon (basically a whole roasted pig) as one of the appetizers. Jason graciously encouraged us to bring in food like this if it had cultural significance for us (wife is Filipino-chinese) and the plan was to bring in a small "appetizer-sized" pig we could keep warm on the stove or in an oven. Well in all the chaos it turns out the Lechon we got was pretty gigantic. There was NO WAY this thing was gonna stay warm because there wasn't an oven big enough to fit a full sized Lechon, and Jason was able to get creative and make it work! Ovens were opened and the Lechon was laid on the doors to keep the heat on it to stay hot and fresh while guests arrived. Hope that kitchen didn't get too hot! It was just stories like this for days. Jason and the staff took great care of us, and all the residents we met were super friendly and thoughtful people. THANK YOU GLEN ACRES for helping us start our marriage off perfectly. Brief summary of highlights: -recently went to a rather swanky wedding overseas, our food was better, hands down (shoutout for the braised short ribs!) -reasonably priced drinks, and great bartender kept the bar bumpin all night! -flexible speaker system, easy to use -projector system worked great even though we changed plans last second and didnt use it -they were very accommodating with our hopes for interior decorating, let us hang stuff from the walls and ceiling -parking was ample and close The list goes on and on and on. It's been 4 months since our wedding and I am still ecstatic about this place. You can't go wrong here. Thank you Glen Acres, and thanks Jason!

We hold our annual graduation brunch at Glen Acres each year. I work directly with Jason Winniford, and he is always very agreeable and easy to work with. The venue is beautiful and the food is excellent. We are very pleased with every aspect of our event. Because of this, we have no need to search out another venue. Glen Acres is it!

My wife and I were looking for a place to host our wedding reception. After driving for numerous hours and talking about the details with several different venues, we found Jason at Glen Acres. The first thing Jason told me was that he was going to make the reception as easy as possible and willing to work within our budget. A little nervous, but after sitting down with Jason and going over a few details, I'm definitely glad I went with Glen Acres! The food was fantastic with reasonable prices. The breathtaking view of Seattle city lights from the ballroom during the evening was priceless. Worried at first from the details to the final price, I couldn't have gone with a better venue and worked with a better venue manager than Jason. Thank you Glen Acres/Jason. Family member got married here recently. Owner very nice, flexible and accommodating. It was the most stressful time for our family but they did everything to make this event smooth and special. Food was tasty, drinks were good and prices reasonable. Hard working staff with great work ethics. Impressed and grateful and would use them again for big events.

This is a great venue to host an event! My husband and I had our wedding ceremony & reception here in the Sky room and it was beautiful! The staff is really nice and were so helpful as we discussed the planning and decorations. The food is also good and the view from the Sky room overlooks downtown Seattle. This was our experience as using yhe venue for an event location. Would love to return here one day for just the golfing or a nice dinner.

My husband and I had an amazing experience on our wedding day at this venue. Jason Winniford and his staff are very dedicated and thoughtful. Jason helped us come up with our menu and even helped us coordinate our wedding schedule for the reception. I was so impressed with the beauty of the room overlooking the golf course and how affordable the space was. The food was delicious and Jason helped us stay within our budget. At this venue, you have everything already provided on site - even decorations were available for us to use from their other events. I highly recommend this venue!!
