I was recently invited by a member to golf this course. All I can say is WOW! This course was very well kept. The fairways were very challenging and the greens were speedy with readable breaks. One of the best courses I've played. The staff and members were courteous, pleasant, and helpful.

Full disclosure I'm a member at the come at the golf course since my childhood but there is no better place to golf in all of Tacoma and Pierce county. Even if you're not a member, as a guest you get treated like royalty at this golf club from the general manager to the newest member of the service team. Fircrest gets it done right and has been doing so for the 30-plus years I've been around.

Attended an event (which was lovely and very well hosted), and left my car overnight in the parking lot after having a few drinks. When I came back to get it, I found my battery had died. The folks at the front desk went above and beyond to help me, tracking down cables, pushing my car to where it could be accessed and giving me a jump. Could not more impressed with their service.

It's better than Chambers Bay. Enjoy year-round golfing occasionally disturbed by honking, passing cars or rogue duffers in runaway carts. Beautiful Club House with fine service.

Fircrest is in phenomenal condition and a true joy to play. It's tradition as a family oriented club remains firmly intact. A new state of the art fitness center plus a leading juniors program makes FGC a wonderful experience for the entire family.
