This Golf belongs to the category of Golf course.
Best course for me and my wife
Great course, well maintained and fun to play
Very very slow...
Nice
Long and lean!!! Tough and tight! Good value!! Great condition,..
Really nice, challenging course set in the trees.
I have nave been there and don't like golf! This app just keep coming up on my phone. Matter of fact, I hate golf. Even if I like golf I would still give Eages Pride a bad review because their app keep coming up on my phone!
This is the Ft Lewis Golf course off of I-5. There are 3 9 hole courses that are combined for your 18. We had to play the green course twice as there was a tournament on the red and blue. No water, sand with some big lips, rough is tall grass, greens were fast. Well maintained Oh, and lots of trees. Would like to play rest of course.
The course looked great from what i could see. Unfortunately i got turned away at my tee time because my son who would be sitting in the cart with my wife while i golfed did not meet the 6 year old age requirement. So much for family friendly courses.
Great course....terrible staff. Guy in the pro shop was extremely rude. We told him we had never played before and asked for course conditions, he refused to tell us how the course was and made jokes instead of answering. After checking in we went to get breakfast. One of our group was disrespected by the chef to the point where he didn't order. I ordered a sandwich and was given a burrito instead after being assured by the chef I ordered a burrito. All of this after watching the cook wipe his nose first with his cooking gloves on. The course was fun to play but the rudeness of multiple staff members overshadowed the course. Will never come back.
Horrible service. Flew in to golf with my brother and didn't bring my clubs. Made me purchase a rental set for $15 that was caked in mud. Workers questioned if I knew how to play golf when I asked the logic of paying for a set of clubs I would never use. The logic was slow play. Well we waited on every hole and we finally decided to jump a few holes ahead of a slow group we got questioned again about our golf etiquette.
A great networking event with 'Work of Honor'!
Good food not so good on the service prices resonable
Great place to golf, great greens.
Boring ...
nice golf course, small bar and nice for conference and get togaher
Clean little course.
Course was well maintained. Needs better signing. It took us 10 minutes of wandering around the clubhouse parking lot maintenance shed to find the tee box for the blue course.
Great course. Good layout.
A great course for the price and although I was military it's not a requirement to play there. A fun course.
Nice course! Well maintained. Decent prices.
Great course, greens in pretty good shape given the weather.
Nice Course for the money!
Great golfing. People are friendly and another place to relax and wind down.
I'm just learning and retired military. Great Golf Course, wide-open for beginners. Great people work there. Very helpful. Great great prices.
Nice course we'll taken care of greens. Pro shop has some nice items and the staff is great. Definitely check out the Sam Adams beer bar.
Eagles Pride is always a great course to play...great value!
Ok
Good course if you like scenic views
The price is too high for the condition that you have to play under is that just good for retiree but no good if you just served and not retired
Clean course at a good price. 27 holes, range and practice greens.
If you don't hit a very straight shot forget seeing your ball again. Long fescue grass both sides of the fairways
Nice course--lots of improvements
The course is beautiful and challenging. There are elevation changes and fast greens. 4 stars because the fairways were in rough shape.
Pretty awesome playing 18 holes with deer beside you just chilling.
Just passed by.
Excellent menu choices and a good variety of Sam Adams brews. Conveniently located off of I5. Awesome staff!
Great course and convenient.
Wasn't a good golf experience today they had you walking all aroung 3 courses to get 18 holes in never said anything about temp greens would've been nice to know don't recommend doing the winter
Long holes, three 9 hole options, great for summer days!!!
Excepcional value. Being from the south, I loved the trees!
Beautiful location but catering for event wasn't as on point as it should have been. The space itself is quite nice however and can be dressed very beautifully.
Challenging course that can leave you humble.
Well groomed with three 9's
Great spot
Google keeps insisting that I have played golf at this course. I have not. I don't play golf. I hate the very idea of playing golf. I agree with Mark Twain. Yet every time I open Google Maps, there it is again, the suggestion that I have played a round, and that I write a review. So here goes. "I had an excellent round of golf at this course. We decided on the "Blue" course, for it matches the language I often use while out at play. The cart I rented was fantastic. I never knew you could get a cart with a 350 V8. Not only did it come with a fully stocked bar, but the young lady who popped out of the center console to mix the drinks as we wanted them, was friendly and very good at her job. We rented clubs for the occasion, because I tend to break them across my knee when I miss a shot and I didn't want to spoil my own set that day. The "fresh club delivered as you break them" service was wonderful. I used it about 30 times in all. We also bought a box of cigars. Rather than use the normal wooden tee each time we set off, we used a Torpedo. Brilliant. Unfortunately I kept shooting my ball into the duck ponds. This kept the staff of divers quite busy. Each time they returned my balls, I was gratified to see they had not only been freshly washed, but also nicely blow dried. I bagged six ducks while we were at play, and felt it was very thoughtful of the staff at the clubhouse to have them nicely roasted by the time we got back. The garlic potatoes were a thoughtful touch. Towards then end of the afternoon we were quite tired of golf, rather drunk and completely lost. We found the "seek the clubhouse" homing function on the cart quite handy. I had consumed 8 or 10 drinks, I can't exactly recall, but the instant I pressed the red button on the dash, the cart zipped off smartly and all was well. Gosh was it fast too. 60 miles an hour across the greens and smooth as Barry White at a lounge singer's contest. I made six business deals during our round of play, expensed everything to my business acount and so the entire golf outing cost me nothing, which is a hell of a deal in itself. Not bad for an afternoon out. I can't remember what my score was, or which holes we gave up on, but then again, nobody really cared anyway. The duck was excellent. Highly recommended."
Challenging course great greens
Great staff good course
Went for a company dinner. Food was excellent!!!
So many new friends to hangout with we live right bye the park also there is so many nice people here I hope we can stay for ever
Used to love this course, but the clerk at the clubhouse was so rude and pompous I will not golf there again. On top of that their prices have significantly increased over the past couple of years.
Well maintained course with just enough challenges and greens were in excellent condition. Friendly staff. Decent rental equipment (have premium and regular sets at a good price). Would like to play again with my clubs. Saw rabbits and deer.
Very long and mature golf course, greens are in great shape! Can't beat it for the price!
Worst range balls ever. Total disgrace!
Great course. The staff are not very friendly.
Played two rounds here back to back. The staff here are super nice and friendly both the clubhouse staff and the marshals. It's a very well kept place especially the greens. Definitely will come back. And it's right next to Home Course so next time you're in Dupont, check this place out. Also if you're an active member of military or a veteran, I think you get a discount.
Went to dine here for 1st time as part of a group, ordered the special, which i wasnt really familiar with. Took over an hour to receive, and as our group event concluded, i opted to make it a to-go order. The staff was courteous, and offered to no-charge my order for the excessive wait. The order itself was okay, not spectacular.
Course is fun, but customer service is terrible. I wait on hold for 12 minutes with two different people talking to me for about 30 seconds a piece to find out they won't book a tee time more than 7 days in advance. I defintley understand that they have this policy, but when I first ask the question, if they can book 3 weeks in advance for a golf trip with 12 people and the guy says maybe, don't have someone hold for 12 minutes just to say no. We have been playing there for 5 years on an annual golf trip and booking in advance, we will be taking our business elsewhere.
Wonderful venue sand excellent service.
Visited month ago was memorable
Course was in excellent shape and staff was friendly!!
Great value for a good course
Convenient location and a great course. One of the best MWR courses I've played at. Don't play golf anymore but still attend meetings and the snackbar is good choice for a quick lunch.
Good beer, decent prices, ok pub grub.
Front desk clerk was rude and condescending. Terrible customer service.
Course is in great shape for winter golf.
Nice course. Well maintained with a restaurant next to it that serves great food and drinks
Very poor management, marshal's very unfriendly. Just older gentlemen who have no idea how to run a golf course. They pick and choose when they want to uphold their nonexistence dress code. Golf course is nice but not worth dealing the the individuals that work their. Do not recommend golfing their.
Fun track
This is a fun course to play with some food challenges. The course is well maintained and has a snack bar and pro shop as well as a nice driving range. Prices are fair and even though it is a military course, it is open to the public. The only draw back is they don't often have a drink and snacks cart out on the course.
The customer service in the pro shop and restaurants =
As soon as we pulled up we were emediately yelled at by the staff saying we pulled in the parking lot the wrong way... We walked in and stood at the counter for at least 30 seconds before the employee on his cell phone acknowledged us, then the guy proceeded to say my wife was dressed inappropriately. I would not recommend this golf course to anyone, solely on customer service!!
Golf love it
Right now they are having the players user their "winter course". They have finally opened the new Sam Adam's Pub House restaurant. They do not have a large menu to choose from, but their burgers and hot sandwiches are pretty good and they're priced decently. They do have fair assortment of beers available.
Great place to have fun with battle buddies.
I love how wooded the courses are. I suggest renting a cart if you are playing the red to blue course... we walked and I was winded on a couple shots. Los of ups and downs on the course. Overall had a great time with the guys!
A very well kept course. Always freindly Staff and the greens play Fair.
This course is a real pleasure to play on. The greens are very well kept and of professional quality. The instructors and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful for beginners. The food service is amazing and affordable. A great course for novice up to advanced.
Beautiful
Awesome course, good food and the service was great! All stars rite here :)
Rude pro shop!
I'm not a golfer, but I was here. They opened their clubhouse to first responders, workers and investigators for the tragic train derailment nearby. I sincerely appreciate their willingness to help in a time of crisis.
My husband and I had a great time golfing on the blue course. It reminded us of our home course we are members at in Oregon. The gentleman that's in the Pro Shop was very helpful suggesting we wait till 4pm so we could get the twilight special. I would come back here again!
Great course with 3-9 holes to play. The course is taken care of very well and has good challenges. Don't expect any service from their restaurant. They never answer the phone and don't care about the service of their customers.
Course was in great shape and the price is right but waaaaaay to many giant redwoods for this guy. Have fun
The course has an amazing staff always ready to help when needed. The greens are in excellent shape and I couldn't have had a better time playing a round of golf on a beautiful Sunday morning!
Nice long fairways and great greens! I recommend this course!
Beautiful
27 holes of golf available. Grill is under renovation as of 10/01/2016. Golf Shop offers a good variety of selection for equipment and apparel.
Food was good service was great would definitely go back
They catered our event. The food was good. They have a nice bar, too.
Great food and great prices! Manager was very friendly we will definitely be back.
Course is in fabulous shape especially the greens!
I really like this course. Alot to offer here. 27 holes. There's alot of up and down terrain which makes for a very fun course!
Beautiful day, beautiful course, tough greens. Always enjoy playing here.
Winter course holes, but still playable.
Far more challenging course than I anticipated. Will probably returns to play again.
Great golf course well maintained and great price. Look for specials also.
Best public golf course around.
Venue is cozy and the parking is decent. Love the fireplace and the servers were all very friendly. The large room made it a nice place for a smaller event.
The greens were crappy, but we were only paying $27 for 18 holes with a cart and a meal, so it was what we expected. My review is about how we were treated at the course. The grumpy old guy working the front desk on Monday 3/28/2016 has the worst customer service skills I have ever encountered at a golf course. Additionally, the course was offering a deal on GolfNow that included a meal, but the restaurant is currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Instead, they give you a $7 gift card that allows you to purchase drinks or a snickers bar out of the fridge next to the proshop counter. It wasn't lunch, but I used my voucher to buy a beer and a candy bar. When I tried to pay for the items, the guy looked at me like I was an idiot because there was a second voucher on the counter (from the customer before me). He did not remove the voucher when the guy before me paid. I had to try to explain to the guy behind the counter (3 times) that I only had one voucher, and that the second $7 voucher was not mine. Once he finally understood, he apologized. Until he figured it out, he was acting like I was an idiot - and I was just being honest. Next, my friend (who booked separately on GolfNow), brought his 4 year old daughter to ride in the cart while he golfed. She has rode along during several golf rounds, and has done so at the Eagles Pride course several times...the most recent was a month ago. The guy at the front desk wasn't having it. First, he tells my friend that he needs to ride in the same cart as me (even though we booked separately and the rate included a cart). Then he says that my friend's daughter cannot go in the cart because she is not 7 years old, which I assume is the minimum golfing age. Again, she was not golfing, and rode in the cart at this course a month ago. By now, the line behind my friend has gotten pretty long. 15 minutes of back and forth arguing created a very uncomfortable environment for 8-10 people that just wanted to pay for their golf and go out on the course. Eventually, the grumpy old guy behind the counter figured out he had created a no win situation for himself and slammed the key down for the cart and said "Fine! Go play!" And yelled some other stuff at my buddy as we went out the door. That course will never get my money again, no matter what the deal.
Love this golf course for the price. Only things that would be better if they did all the course maintenance before opening or in the evening. We played today and were held up by a maintenance team twice.
Great place for service members and their families to enjoy golf. Or just hit some balls.
Went to play some golf today with some friends and when we arrived the man at the front desk was incredibly rude from the get go and for no reason too. If we had a question about something he looked at us like we were ill minded. As we over looked his rudeness we went on to play some golf. There weren't a lot of people today but I imagine because the customer service is terrible. The course itself was kind of fun, not to challenging, and the grass was mediocre at best. As we wrapped up our session of golf. The old man at the front desk started yelling at us. This was my 2nd time ever golfing and my friends 1st. We had no idea what the man was really getting at. To say the least, We will not be returning to this golf course. Simply, because of the old man at the front desk and how rude he was.
Took advantage of their cheap twilight price, and was happy I did. The course was fun and had it's challenges. The red course was easily my favorite of the three. Beware of nature and all it's glory on this course though. Because the course is secluded, you will bump into your occasional dead bird, garden snake, frogs (seriously, one was in my putting line on the 8th hole) and a TON of mosquitoes. Customer service in the pro shop could have used some improvement, but I didn't care that much since I was playing the twilight rate.
Nice place to golf
I've been golfing here 2 to 3 times a week for about the last year. It's not a great course but not bad either but I like going there because it's always dead so I can get on without a tee time anytime and would go anyday I got off early. I understand some courses have dress codes and i respect that. Well no where online or at the course does it say you have to wear a collared shirt not have I ever worn one while playing st this course. Well today I was told they would not let me play because I was not wearing a collared shirt. Fyi if this is how you treat your regular customers no wonder why the course is always dead.
Beautiful golf course, well maintained. The course is long and can be difficult. Great challenge for a golfer of my high handicap ability.
