Very challenging layout, with excellent helpful staff, superb greenskeeping, great restaurant/bar and beautiful clubhouse looking out over the foothills to Puget Sound. Lots of elevation changes, forced carries, fast undulating greens, extensive bunkering, doglegs, and some blind tee shots. Prepare to lose some balls if you don't know the course, or are a 7 or higher handicap. There is at least 5 different tee boxes on each hole, and from the front ones, it is definitely much easier, but would still be quite a challenge for kids or beginners. I personally enjoy the challenge, and tee off from the tips (whether or not they put the blue tees there), and it makes for a 7,000 plus yard test that brings every club and type of shot into play. Cart is included in the price, as they don't allow you to walk it anymore (I used to, and it is grueling carrying a golf bag). My favorite public course in Western Washington!

Beautiful golf course with some great views. This corse is tough though, every time I play here, I am immediately reminded how inadequate my abilities are for this course... it’s tough. I normally shoot mid 80’s, and I’m lucky to break 90 here. Lots of trees, blind shots, doglegs, narrow fairways, rolling greens, you name it. It is a good course though, always love playing at Eaglemont. They have great twilight rates and offer a military discount. The food is pretty good too.

Great views! Attended Easter Brunch at this location. Really slightly disorganized. New staff so they often appeared to have no idea what to do next. The food was about as good as I find in the Skagit/Whatcom area for buffets. All the standards. I was told the Prime Rib was very good, well seasoned and flavorful. I never touch the stuff. Omlet station and the gentleman running it we're top notch. View to Camano Island was super!

This course, in all honesty, is far too difficult. I consider myself a decent golfer (6-7 handicap) and I do not have fun playing this course. Frankly, it punishes good shots far too often due to how narrow the course is, the amount of hazards on each hole and fairways that generally do not help your ball stay in play. If I am punished multiple times in the same round for a good to great shot, then it's hard for me to recommend a course based solely on enjoyment of play. I can say that this course is well-maintained and the setting is beautiful as you rarely see another hole from where you are playing. It is fun if you are there simply to enjoy time with friends, but if you are looking to post a good score, it's hard to recommend Eaglemont.

Played this course in highschool when I had my best shot ever, 90 yard swing right into the cup! Beautiful setting and the cafe is decent. Parking is abundant and the event hall was just amazing with the panoramic views. Perfect venue for weddings or other events and gatherings!

This is one of my favorite courses in the area! Starting with a wonderful view from the club house, the player is treated to a well planned and maintained course. Try to get a few minutes extra to take in the 6th tee box, and make sure your camera is charged! Being a senior I play the white tees but there is plenty of room for you big hitters from the back two sets . The carts are excellent withbusb and computer display of the course with recommended shot placement. A nice touch to the game. I give this a 5 star for value, facilities, and feel!

Stunning views and great golf! Prices could be worse and in a great neighborhood. You can rent this place out for events or weddings and it's perfect. Been to many events in the clubhouse and I am always floored at the views this place has.

Do not go unless you have all day! They just but everyone on the course and no one to monitor the speed of play. I had to leave 2 times do to backups and they refused to refund my money for the back 9. Simply said it's not there fault for the 3-4 tee off wait.

It's a fantastic golf course, without a doubt. Greens were in exceptional condition. Don't know when they were punched (assuming they were for the fall), but they don't look to have been. The fairways, however, were pretty atrocious. They look like they were punched recently and it was tough to get a good lie. We ended up just giving ourselves good lies if we were in a bare patch. Some were better than others, but they are clearly working on the fairways. The views are incredible, and you get a lot of them. A lot of that is due to the extreme undulation. Golf carts are required, and for good reason. Walking this course would be quite the workout and would detract from the experience. But the undulation is an annoyance at times. Particularly, the downhill par 3 15th. We couldn't see the pin from our vantage point on the tee. About half the green is obscured by brush, and also because you are so far above it. One of our players hit what appeared to be a perfect tee shot, but we couldn't find it, since we couldn't see where it landed. Also, where are the black tees? Taken away for the fall, perhaps? My friend wanted to play from the tips; he's plenty long enough, but there weren't any black tee markers. The course probably deserves a 5-Star review, but the condition of the fairways right now, and some of the very blind shots sort of detracted from our experience.

Tough course but I really enjoyed playing here. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home. The greens were fast but the putts run true. I think I will enjoy it even more the second time as I will know how to play it. Not recommended for beginners or high handicappers as it will be too hard. The scenery is beautiful!

Beautiful location for Wedding. Spectacular views of the valley all the way to the bay. Staff is very personable. Jocelyn is superb, was always there when you needed her but never hovered, somehow she managed the perfect balance. Chef was wonderful to work with, came up with additional tapas options for the wedding.

Grounds/Amenities - The relatively new clubhouse and proshop are nice and consistent with an upscale feel. The restaurant does a nice job with good food at a reasonable price. The proshop typically offers free bottled water before your round. The practice range is nice, all grass and well maintained with a recent upgrade to the grounds. The putting green is pretty standard and well kept. It does lack a bunker and chipping/pitching practice area though which is the only drawback. Staff - never had a bad word about the staff. Bartenders/servers have all been congenial and welcoming. Corey, one of the pros, is a super-nice guy and everyone else that works there seems to understand the importance of customer service. Course - 1) you have to take a power cart 2) It's a hard course for a mid to high handicap golfer, so plan on losing several balls during your round. A shot that goes just out of bounds in most cases is not a playable, retrievable or even findable ball. 3) They don't sand the course as much as they should, so it plays pretty wet and soggy during the winter and after a few solid days of rain. During the winter if it's wet, you can lose a well driven ball in the fairway, because it augers into the soft ground 4) It's a beautiful course overall, with some very scenic views on a lot of the holes. It's also well maintained most of the year. Overall - Slightly higher than average cost for a challenging (hard) and above average playing experience with higher end clubhouse/restaurant/proshop and amenities.

We celebrated our daughter’s wedding at Eaglemont Golf Course October 8, 2016. Words cannot describe how perfect the entire planning experience was for both my daughter and me. Jocelin Weyers was a joy to work with. She promptly answered our many questions and was professional, fun, and an absolute joy to work with. On the day of the wedding, EVERYTHING went according to plan. Jocelin was there throughout the event continuing to answer our questions and providing us with whatever we needed. We received rave reviews from our guests on the appetizers, food, bar attendants, servers, and venue atmosphere. Although the highest eligible rating is 5 stars, Eaglemont and their staff have earned 10 stars from our view. Thank you Eaglemont for making the whole planning and celebrating a most memorable event.

What a JOKE!!!! just played in a tournament the cheating was rampant. the staff won half the prizes and spoiled what started out as a great event. Its sad to know that the event was a memorial! you've disgraced the course, the event, and the game of golf. Absolutely pathetic !!!
