This Golf corresponds to the category of Golf course.
Very nice golf course, great view, kindly services, very well maintained course, reasonable price...highly recommended
Course is in good shape could be better
Golf course bar. Horrible service. Shockingly good salmon pasta
Came here for a charity event and it was absolutely beautiful!
The conditions were almost good. Still a lot of bad patches in fairways and greens. What is INEXCUSABLE is the lack of drinking water out on the course. Just 4-6 water buckets. It's a health issue!
Had a good day on the course. Reasonably challenging. Golf board added a new element of fun, too.
Really nice course.
I played Druids last week, it's the best I have ever seen it. Greens are rolled every day and it shows, pure putting surfaces. The whole course was perfect and yes the new TapHouse bar is awesome, every beer I could ever want.
Haven't golfed in 30 years. Had a great time today. Carts are life.
Amazing and flo form sponsoring autism is even better... must play
Still a great layout. A lot of money has been invested keeping this course in great shape.
The Course is Getting Better and Staff are noticeably Friendlier I have been Druids harshest critic. I call it as I honestly see fit. I drive an hour to play a course and it should be as advertised. I am a men's club member and have been a member since playing and the men's club membership was really good. For a while the conditions and membership were diminishing and downright hostile. I understood the hostility part for me since I was nailing them in my reviews. although, I couldn't really understand why the patrons were treated so badly. Good news... It's very apparent that the course is making turn for the better. Maintenance is grabbing a foothold in the course conditions and making huge strides and improvements. To be fair, the horrible Winter and tsunami type rains that we have experienced have been a challenge even for the most seasoned Washingtonian. I'm happy to report that the course is finally making a turn for the better. The course is growing turf from actual grass seeds and not just hoping the existing grasses will spawn seedlings. I see new grass seeds everywhere. I see a huge difference everywhere. So congratulations to the management in increasing the maintenance budget and positive efforts not to loose focus on what the players really want - Good Playable Turf. 1). It's apparent that the employees are happy to see you as a customer. They have become welcoming and seem to care that I am happy and that they would like their customers to come back. 2). It's apparent the the owners of the course have figured out that to be successful you need to have a product worthy to return for. By increasing the budget for maintenance and/or managing the watering better the course is wearing better and providing something other than mud to hit off of. The areas around the greens are growing and continually being worked in an effort to increase the quality of the course. I have never blamed the maintenance crew for the courses demise. I blamed the owners greed and lack of vision to look further into the future to see what damage he was doing to the course and reputation to a course that was truly a Course to be played and enjoyed. The Greens are coming back and as they should be. 3). The restaurant has always been the core of why I still am playing there. Good food seemed to have brought me back. Now the course is pulling its weight again. I really don't know what the catalyst was to motivate the owners, managers or employees to get the course to where it was supposed to be from the original vision of the course designers. But, I feel there are at the very least trying and interested in what we (customers) are truly interested in and that repeat business is important to the success of this men's club, course, and a business as a whole. I'm not disappointed any longer and my expectations have finally increased. I play Druids for the challenge of the course. The Views. The Food. Every time I go out, I want to beat the course - although, I haven't come close to being happy with the results because I've always left something out there that drives me back to play it again. I like that. Now, the course will be even more fun to play because the course will be ready to play. Just now, I can't blame the courses condition for my not accomplishing the round I would like or hope to expect. So in closing, if you've been away... You might just want to revisit and become reacquainted to your next favorite course, again... Until my next review Ciao.
Great little bar and grill that is tucked away in the golf course. Many types of beer and a large menu selection. Great place for taking in a game or treating the whole family, kids and all.
Great course - sights of Mount Rainier, GPS carts, good food and great service
Greenskeeper did amazing job with greens. They look like they will be the best since course opened. And it is still winter.Drier than I thought also.
Good food. Fast service.
Course was in good shape. Good layout
I had a blast! The greens were smooth. The course was challenging for sure but it was a fun day. Didn't eat at the restaurant but the driving range and the practice green was pretty legit. Beautiful course I'll be back
Great food and I loved the atmosphere!
Great (but long and tough) course. Awesome views. Unfortunately it was rainy the past several days and the course was "swampy" even tho the weather was OK when we played. Still a great course.
The new Course Superintendent really has the course in great shape. If you played last year before the personnel change, I can understand your disappointment in the condition of the course. But please, if you are interested in playing a fair, but challenging course for reasonable money, give Druid's Glen another try. I think you will agree the course is in great condition, the staff is friendly and helpful, and Green Fees are a bargain compared to courses of similar quality. While you are there -- give the Tap House Restaurant a try too. The Whiskey Chicken is my favorite.
Had a situation with our cart and Tom was able to remedy our experience. Really like playing here and will be even better when the greens are back up to snuff.
No water buckets. Fairway conditions are not good. Cemented rock in the sand bunker. My wedge got damaged.
The golf course is beautiful and the food is amazing. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it for special occasions
Beautiful course and the staff is so friendly!
Nice course. Good views..
Nice course, draught drying out some of the course. Restaurant rocks.
Great course, until it rains and then the course is super soggy. Great views of Mt. Rainier and surrounding areas.
Ok so I played 9/7/18 I had called a week in advance to book a tee time due to living out of state when making the tee time we had reserved 3 golf boards when we got there they only had one available and they didn't inform me up the additions $38 to rent the board which was the same cost of the round. So we ended up having to use the carts which was fine I guess but my cart ended up dying on hole 3. We got ahold of the pro shop with the carts GPS saying we needed a new cart. By hole 5 nothing so I called the pro shop they said they would have a cart brought out to us needles to say they never brought us a cart and finished the round with a dead cart it was the absolute worst customer care I have ever seen on a golf course I will never be playing here again
Great Food, Great Cocktails, Great Service! And the View's really great too!
This course used to be one of the top public courses in the area. Now it's just another overpriced scrub course. They are blaming the course condition on the weather (very wet spring)...Im not buying it, poor maintenance and not reinvesting in the course.
Challenging golf course, great layout and hole variety.
Golf is not my favorite sport. But nice place to be out when the sun is shining.
The golf course is in excellent condition. The layout is fair and challenging. Early bird special is outstanding it is best deal in greater Seattle area. The course is 5 star I gave three for one main reason. The service is in need of help. The front desk guy was nice enough but had me wait on him to open up a second drawer not a big deal but be ready when you open not an hour after. Secondly and the reason I might not return is I played the third of September and whoever worked the blower on the front nine it was a young Male drove the machine within feet of our cart and blasted us with fresh cut grass, dirt, and sand. Amateurs man seriously where I come from he would of been fired on the spot. Absolutely ridiculous and imagine it's only a matter of time before it causes a major problem.
This is one of the favorite spots to play golf at. I’m a newbie, but I’m still practicing to get better at it.
This is a difficult course with challenging green complexes and plenty of water hazards. Bring your best game, choose the correct tees and enjoy the great views of Mt. Rainier.
Druids Glen has a great layout, but not for the novis golfer long par fours & par threes nice driving range and putting green to practice on
Front desk was rude, no water on the course. The advertised cart girls are never around.
Nice shape for this time of year!
Such a beautiful course... Ruined by terrible management. Course has amazing views of Mt. Rainier and an amazing restaraunt and banquet space. That's where it ends, painfully slow play makes itself evident as your almost three hour front nine culminates in seeing a sixsome walk off the last green while you drive to ten. It's may and 85 degrees and half of the greens are dying and covered in shoe shaped depressions, forget to use temp greens in frost? Rough is so deep that a tee ball that just misses the fairway by a yard is impossible to find oh let's not mention that's it's 80 bucks to play!
Love this course! Greens are perfect.
Played there on 10-22-16 and was displeased with the condition of the greens. The first 5 greens were so dimpled with ball divots that my ball literally snaked it's way to the hole. For as many Marshall's as they have on the course me would think the greens would be in better shape. The range is nice but all the yardage signs are lined up to the right forcing a lot of range balls onto the first fairway. The fairways and tee boxes were in good shape and the course was really fun to golf (with Exception to the greens). Not worth the $45 fee.
Beautiful view especial on 2nd hole
Nice course, good food. Our HOA meets here.
Good good selection and friendly personnel.
Beautiful course that is always well kept.
Great golf course. Excellent and friendly staff. Great restaurant.
Love it great course
This course could be one of the best in the state. The layout is terrific, and the scenery is great. It's tucked away in the woods and had lots of challenging holes with water and heavy bunkering. But it isn't taken care of. Bunkers are never raked, whether by players or staff, it seems. The Greens are rough. Hardly any ball marks get repaired. They are lumpy and cratered all over. I can't really blame the course for that, but it has to be said. What they can control are the half drained ponds that detract from the experience. I guess there is a reason for it, but I don't know why. I haven't been back in a while, but I'd like to go see how the course is in the middle of the summer.
This course is a disgrace. How they charge people this prize is a disgrace. They make no effort to try to fix course. The group who owns it should sell to people who care!!!!!
Playing 18 holes. Been trying to find the beer girl. Called and they said she was on her way but 3 holes later still no sign. I dont play for score, I play to drink beer and have fun. A lot less fun when u have no beer on a hot day. Frustrating. Jim Moore always says the beer girls are good...not today.
Great time of year and course was in really nice shape
Really like druids. But, no starter is a problem. We were playing around noon. While on putting green a single goes off. Followed by a twosome. Followed by a twosome. As we get ready a twosome comes upto us and tries to play in front of us. As we are also 2 I invite them too play with us or wait They begrudgingly join us. Makes for some slow rounds. Really ridiculous. Course and food afterword we're good.
Best crab cakes!
Great views, challenging layout, awesome golf carts with screens that tell you all sorts of information.
Great place for a bite after golfing. Definitely would recommend asking for the bacon cheddar fries that aren't on the normal menu!
A very "challenging" public golf course that pushes your limits on shot accuracy and your short game. Druid's is also known as the "jewel of the Northwest" with gorgeous views of the mountains.
Best value in Washington state golf. Don't tell anybody.
Nice public golf course. Beautiful scenery. Challenging with water, sand and trees boarding the fairways. Clear days boast Rainier views that can not be beat.
Played 5.27.17 Tea box, fair way: A- Green: D- Greens are all dead.
Good course and in good condition. But it is unbelievable that there is no water on the course.
Great little course in fantastic condition. Great 19th hole as well!
Very nice happy hour. Discounted appetizers and drinks. Good service with a beautiful view of Rainier
Great layout. Challenging greens.
9/29/19 @ 11:35 AM. The group playing ahead of us are 3 holes behind and here is the marshal fishing for balls on hole 16 instead of doing his job. Be ready for a extremely slow round when playing this course.
A great golf course in the serenity of a forest. Chill and focus on your game.
Excellent recoveryfrom last year.
First off, i dont' golf, but I do eat and drink. This place is very high quality in reguards to food and drink. A bit on the expensive side, but very much worth every penny. The staff is very kind and patient with you when ordering and getting the food you ordered just right. I will go back time and time again.
Amazing challenging course. Golf carts with built in GPS screens and the hole layouts. Friendly staff.
The course is getting in better shape with the new GM. Pace of play could be better.
Great course. Nice restaurant. Definitely the best in the area.
Challenging track, little pricey but a good test and very well maintained course.
Overpriced..over 60$ in December??!! And played like a soggy goat track.
I played last week and the course is in very good condition. The greens are fast because it really hasn't rained since early May. This is a difficult course for me because there are more bunkers than the courses I know. It would be worth looking at the satellite view of the course, it's very challenging.
Course is in pretty good shape considering our recent spell of really hot weather. Pro shop and catering staff are very attentive.
New range mats at the driving range!!
This course has rebounded nicely from a few rough years. Course condition excellent, staff very friendly. This is a must play for single digit handicaps.
Awesome course!! A must play course!!
Beautiful, challenging, well maintained course. Professional staffing.
Excellent course and fantastic, friendly service on and off the course.
Good course in great shape. Rack rate a little high but good discounts on line. Par 3s are a challenge. But the course is fair and beautiful. Rainier views on a clear day.
One of the best courses in western Washington. In excellent shape as of May 2019.
The greens still need some work, but the food and drinks are great. The cart girl is pretty cool too.....lol
Very good public course and they have turned this place around.
Great (but long and tough) course. Awesome views. Unfortunately it was rainy the past several days and the course was "swampy" even tho the weather was OK when we played. Still a great course.
Wonderful place. The course is fun to play and the restaurant has great food and drinks. If you're looking for a place to get married, this is the place. They do everything right. My wedding here was first class and we got nothing but a great response about the venue from our guests.
Nice lay out, kind of slow play. Price a little steep for this course.
Course was in great condition! Challenging greens and layout yet still fair and forgiving. Will be back!
Great little course. Only reason it's a 4 is because it's a little ove priced in my opinion. All the carts are set up with GPS so that's a definite plus and keeps pace of play up unless you got "that guy" playing in front of you that insists on using his range finder so he can Duff that 175 yard second shot 12 yards up the fairway...
Beautiful course! They are in the middle of some repairs right now but that's the only thing holding them back.
To drunk to remember
I would like to give a sincere, heart felt thank you to Clint Goold, General Manager of Druids Glen Golf Course for rectifying a situation that occurred last week. He took the situation and used it as an opportunity to give his staff training on how to avoid situations like that in the future. In addition to this, he took really good care of my friends and I. I am thrilled that Druids Glen has a dedicated leader such as Clint who strives to ensure every guest is treated as if they are in his own home. I believe in reaching out to those in high positions when they need to hear about what isn't going right. It allows them to make things right and improve in the future. Aside from this, the course was and is in absolute mint condition. They had their struggles a year or two ago, but since then have made a complete turnaround. I plan on becoming a member as this will be my new home course. I truly hope you all head that way soon so you can see just how amazing it is! Oh, and based on my round yesterday in the beautiful sunshine, you can thank me for freshly raking just about every bunker! I also made a large donation to almost every water feature.....
High priced. Course was in horrible condition. Never again.
Dont know what all the raving is about this place? The course to me is just OK and I definitely didnt get the warm fuzzies from the bar/restaurant personnel. At the turn I asked for a few beers from the cart lady who was stocking up and she said "I'm too busy getting ready and you need to go into the bar". Huh? I'll only go back if I can play for free.
Looks like Druids is getting back to it's former status as one of the nicest (and toughest) public courses in WA - good to see!
I was only there for beer and a view of the course but enjoyed myself. Perhaps will play there some day if I decide to take up golf again.
Best 19th hole out there. Good bar ✔, lots of beer options✔. Quality food✔ and great service✔. What else could you ask for?
Great pub food, amazing view of the mountain on the way in
Too cold to hit golf balls, but the tap house is nice
Fabulous views of Mt Rainer on most holes, water on most holes, not super long, but great course and great food.
Good test, bring extra balls the first time and brush-up on your sand shots, you will find at least 1.
Great restaurant with good food and great staff.
Course turned into a mud pit after a little Washington weather
The course has made fantastic improvements to the greens etc. But have raised prices a ton! Used to be a course where you could afford playing it 2 or 3 times a week if you wanted. Now it's close to 80 with a cart on a weekday afternoon? Outrageous
Wonderful place to go for a wedding, my son Mike and New Daughter Sarah wedding was beautiful. Druid's did a wonderful job, all the staff was so helpful and went above and beyond to take care of everyone. Thank you again Druid's Glen Golf Club. Wonderful place to eat also, great happy hour and a wonderful place to sit outside on a sunny day and look at Mt. Rainer. Thank you Clint and Rachel for taking care of my family:-), you're wonderful!
Only rated 4 stars because if excessively sanded greens and 2 putt rule.
Fun challenging course. Definitely will return again.
I was shocked at the poor condition the course was in. This is normally a well kept golf course. Something happened this year (maybe all the rain) but half of the greens are almost unplayable. There are several temporary greens, one so bad it has about a 10 inch wide cup to compensate and the cart GPS gives yardage to the regular green. There was not one word of any of this when checking in. I can't believe they have the nerve to charge full price. It is no wonder there were so few people playing that day. The restaurant continues to be very good with nice staff.
Pretty solid course. Greens fees are a little high for the condition of the course. Greens are slow and fairways need some work!
Great family style restaurant and nice bar. Big selection of IPA beers. Have not golfed there yet but driving through the course looked beautiful. Pro shop is nice. Very convenient handicap parking.
Great condition. Slow slow pace. Good cart service. Lemme see a marshall once around 18 to check pace on some bad golfers to keep pace
Fun course.
Fun casual place to eat! Something smelt weird outside though?
I haven't played the entire course at Druid's Glen; right now I feel it's best if I just practice at the driving range. The range has been better kept for the last year or so - they've replaced the pads. They've also added new signage and fleet, which is nice. My husband has played here several times, and we have only a couple of concerns. First, at the driving range, management allows players to hit from the grass and not use the mats. The grass area is littered with cigarette butts and divots, so it would be ideal for management to either hire staff to clean up the area or, better yet, prohibit players from hitting from the grass. Secondly (and one of the main reasons I haven't played a full round here), whenever my husband has reserved a tee time, they've paired him with other players, even when he's asked to play solo. It's a little too pricey for us to buy out a four spot just so I can be comfortable, so at this point, Druid's Glen is losing out on our money. I've heard it's a challenging course and I don't want to hold up any players we might happen to be paired with. Other than that, it's a beautiful looking course.
My wife come in sometimes Saturday mornings the tall blonde always has given us great service in the bar
Very nice place from what I could see but I did go there at night and was only in the club house which was very nice and well laid out. I have not golfed there yet.
Always a fun course! A little soggy but it is february
The greens or just s***. They should never charge full price. Disgraceful.
It has been great working with Eric Briggs over the past several years. He is a professional in the field and goes out of his way to help. I look forward to working with Eric for many years to come!
Went up to have lunch Saturday morning never been to the course before very nice place the bartender Tiffany was very nice and for how busy she was and from what I could tell it was only her bar tending and waiting tables she was hands down the best waitress I have ever had pricing on food was amazing for the portions and the food was good really liked it there I have been back 4 times since
Awesome course, worth the drive from Redmond. Course was in excellent shape. It's a great Northwest golf experience with only a few houses to mar the course. Great views of Rainier. Hit the twilight time, it's a great deal. Don't walk, you want a cart!
Course can get soggy, but the tap selection more than makes up for it. Good, diverse menu too.
Had our wedding at Druid's Glen and I would recommend it. If you're on a tight budget this venue will be perfect for you. The only disappointment's I can think of is the bride has to get ready in an office, so pictures were a little hard to take. I would recommend getting ready somewhere else and then get to the venue. Also, we were under the assumption there would be no golf that day, but there was. So you might want to warn the photographer there might be golf carts in the backround. Other than that the service was great. All the employees were very nice and helpful. The landscaping is very beautiful and makes for great pictures. Jennifer, the coordinator was great in helping plan and made sure we got everything we needed and how we wanted it. The food and drink were excellent, and they let us try all the food first before we picked out the menu. They had a great menu to choose from that was moderately priced. You also might want to hire a wedding coordinator or have a bridesmaid help coordinate the events for the day because this venue does not supply that service. All in all I was glad I chose this vendor in the end, and although there were a couple of things that bothered me I would still recommend them for your wedding.
Drove an hour with an out of state relative to play this old favorite. What a dissapointment , regular rates and hardly any grass in fairways. More mud than anything.
Excellent ... The staff is finominal.
I haven't played Druids in a few years. I found the course in fantastic shape. Ofcourse great weather helped our experience & the staff was gracious. I look forward to playing again in near future.
The course is in great shape and for the money ($34.00 inc. cart for 18) there isn't any better.
Very well maintained!
You need knock down the price to golf real winter rates you shouldn't half to pay the amount charge not great greens your twilight rates are to high for this time of year.
Great beer selection. Decent food.
Great place to golf and dine
Nice track
The layout is quite good
One of my favorite Puget Sound area courses. 4 of the best par 3's anywhere, all very different. Not a bad hole out there. A little wet and ragged at times
This has become my home course.
Greens are the worst of any course I have played this summer, they should be embarrassed to even call them greens. I was upset about their greens and we got a hot deal on golf now, I couldn't imagine paying their full price. My buddy hit a lob wedge into one green and it bounced 10 yards past the green on a shot that should have held. Greens have dead patches in them making high approaches and putting impossible with any consistantcy. Players be warned as it didn't appear to be something that would get better anytime soon. Just plain awful greens!
Course was in great shape but damm the green fees have sky rocketed.. Thursday afternoon w cart was almost $70. Pace of play was a little slow over 5hr round, Anyways nice course but be ready to drop a 100+ if you hit a bucket balls, have a couple beers, lunch and play a round
This is my favorite public course in the state but the condition of it the last few years is troubling. This place need to hire a real greens keeper. This year they punched and sanded the greens a month or so ago and killed half of the greens. Suffocated with too much sand. Really? It is bad and I am not seeing it get better. Somebody do something to help this great course!
Course was awesome, cart girl was 5 star- great food, fun times
Nice track & about 6k from the whites. Greens were not in great shape, possibly from the dry spell we've had.
First time there. Great food and atmosphere
I had heard on the radio, specifically KJR, the radio sports station, that they have had tournaments and special events out at Druids Glen. They really built it up as a first class course. I will say that it has some interesting holes, some a little quirky. Tough to get a level lie. One of the bunkers I was in had small tufts of grass growing all through it and in another one something caught my club as I was passing through the sand. Turns out it was some kind of man made material liner. In other words, almost no sand. The greens were in pretty good shape however one would think that the golfers who played there, and who had good shots into the green, did not know that you're supposed to fix your ball mark. That one is on the players, not the course. The worst part, however, was the unkept areas in the rough. I know one is supposed to be down the middle, but even the pros get off the fairway at times. Lots of rocks, holes and bare spots were everywhere. I even had to cheat a number of times and move my ball out of these areas as I didn't want to damage my clubs. Even right around and up to some of the greens one could find this kind of terrain. The cart girl was very efficient. The people in the pro shop were nice. The price was ok, $50 with a cart at 3:30 pm. There was a nice restaurant as well. I won't be playing it again. Too far off the beaten path to go for a below average kept course. The worst part was how disappointed I was in all the hype that KJR pumps out about how great the course is. I've played a lot of courses in the U.S. and this one wasn't the worst, by far, but it left a lot to be desired. If anyone remembers the old Spanaway course called Brookdale, and it's condition, it was in better shape. Not as unique or challenging, but definitely in better shape. The Druids Glen maintenance budget must be pretty low in priority, or maybe they just don't have the money to invest in upkeep.
Course was in poor shape compared to previous times I've played it. Greens are spotty and bumpy and the fairways are filled with un-repaired divots. Besides that the two women working in the bar/food area were extremely rude and grumpy …
Great food. Good service. Awesome wedding venue
I love this course! One of the best in the state!
I was pretty much done with Druids because of the densely spaced groups and tournaments overlapping regular play. On Saturday 8/1/2015 I played in a foursome because I had a coupon that covered $65.00 of the green fees. HUGE MISTAKE... 6 hours of waiting at tee boxes for the two previous groups, one of which had 5 players. Very hot day and no water at any of the holes and the marshals would say "it should get better now" but it never did. Druids used to be one of my favorites but now I'm done!
Tough course. I don't remember so many big bunkers. Lots of ground that needs repair. You need to hit your spots. Food was good at taproom. We had a good time. The course will test you.
Great course
