Golfing was great. Course was well taken care of. Representative at desk was very rude. You shouldn't talk down to people just because they haven't been to your facility. Also, was told sunset golfing was first come, first served. Showed up well before tee time and was told already 8 parties in front. Nobody around though. If first come, first served, should have to be ready to tee off. Had to wait a while.

Don't golf here, I want it all to myself. Seriously, it's a fun and challenging course with lots of trees if you miss the fairway. Greens are medium plus speed currently and run true. Have fun.

This is not a disc golf course as stated by previous reviewer (that's located across the road). Beautiful golf course with lots of trees and located along the Spokane river.

Always a fun course. Minus 1 hole it's a good course to walk. Good value. Fairways are lined with trees so the fairways aren't too forgiving. No water which is a nice change. Greens are well kept. All in all I'd recommend this course.

The course was great, the play was a bit slow, but survived. I will say, golf is getting a little expensive, I'm a single income, retired senior. I'm going to be playing a lot less at these prices, I'm disappointed at how the costs risen.

Their parking lot is no where near big enough so cars with golf carts trailers spill out into the neighborhood. These people park too close to corners making turning difficult if not impossible to turn. They block fire hydrants and just make a mess of the area. Build a bigger parking lot.

Classic Municipal Course nearing its hundredth birthday! Like many Spokane courses, Downriver's layout offers great variety of hole design with substantial changes of elevation and many elevated ties and greens. Fairways are wide, typical of a muni course, and the mature pine-studded rough is usually forgiving. Only 7 traps on the course, a relief for those who prefer the beach for suntanning. Pro Steve Conner insures excellent customer service. This is a perfect course for recreational golfers and for low-handicappers to let the shaft out.

Nice course to play, well done for a public course. The pro shop and staff at the course leave a lot to be desired, from curt answers to general lack of effort in sorting things out. If you're self sufficient, awesome. If you encounter an issue, good luck.

I can't speak for the course, but the driving range is small but decent. I wish they had some different tee sizes to choose from for teeing off the mats. Really nice practice putting green and really really nice people there enjoying sunshine and golf. I hope to come back here soon to play a round.
