First visit and extremely disappointed with service in the restaurant, as well as the food. Took 30 minutes to get drinks and 30 minutes to get appetizers. Our dinner was delivered to two different tables before finding us. Dinner took 35 minutes to get, as well. Do not except cash in lounge. Wow!

I hate coming here on saturday late afternoon and early evenings. The short fat guard at the main entrance is so unbelievably rude. I had an extended pass that was still good until the end of August. Everytime I come through and show him my pass, he makes me go into the left lane to look at my pass. But yet he waves everyone else through. This last saturday July 22, 2017 was the same except this time he took my pass, ripped it up, and told me that per the home owners request I was not allowed inside Canterwood. He did not even go into the guards office to verify this. I called the home owner who are my parents and asked them if they had denied my access, which they did not. So i return to the entrance and tell him he must have the wrong person in mind and told him I just spoke with the my parents. He then swore at me by saying I need to F off and go away he will not let me in. So I left, called my parents and asked them to come and let me in, which they did as I am not banned. About an hour later me and my mom were out for a walk when we saw the security vehicle parked off the road. My mom and I stood by the truck while waiting for the patrolling guard to return. We both noticed a very bad odor of urine,cugerettes,body oder, and many other unpleasant smells. We also noticed that there were two pillows on the drivers seat. Out of curiosity I decided to lift up the pillows and was absolutely appalled at the condition of the seatJust as I was closing the door of the truck, the other guard working approached and asked if she could help us So I told her what had happened with the guard at the gate. She told me that as soon as she get's a chance she will speak with her supervisor. I also took it upon myself to inform her that the condition of the patrol vehicles seat goes against the standards set forth by both Osha and The Department of Labor and Industry. I informed her that it is a finable offense to the contracting company, the contracted company, and possibly the security supervisor. The female officer wasn't forthcoming when I asked how long the seat had been in that condition, and she she smiled and said she was unsure. When I got back to the original subject as to why my mom and I had waited, I asked what we could do. She said that my parents could get ahold of the site supervisor or the HOA. My mom told the guard that they no longer complain to the HOA or security staff due to the fact they always start recieving notices of infractions after they complain about the security staff. My parents have asked that their identity not be known due to their not wanting to be a target of security or the HOA. The female guard was very apologetic regarding how I was treated by the gate guard. That female guard is an asset and deserves a big pay raise for her excellent service. Please fire that short fat man that works the gates on Saturday afternoons-evenings.

Canterwood is an above average golf course and truly a test of ur skills. Course is in wonderful condition right now and the pro staff was very helpful. Always a thrill to get to play here!

Called in to change my tee time, the assist answered and told me I could have the 7:54 time. I told him i would y’all with my group and let them know. 10 minutes later I call and the head pro tells me they do not have any times before 8:04 and practically called me a liar that his shop guy said we could have that earlier time. Very unprofessional to go back on what they say. Wish they could have kept to what was originally said. Was excited to play here but now we get to play Chamber’s Bay so I guess it is a win in the end.

SO COOL the pool is amazing and it's vary fancy I would recommend always going there (if you are invited to a party you could go but with out a member ship you can't go but if you have a friend there you could always say there apartment number and why you going to there apartment and they I think Will let you in)

Seems a little pricy. I had a member for a day certificate that I received from a fund raiser that was held at Canterwood . $60 for up to four people sounded like a great deal! Nope. "That will be $266 please." said the nice young man at the pro shop. I had been looking forward to this for almost a year and had invited another couple along, so I paid. At 4:10 in the evening I paid $60 (regularly $85) for nine holes. Hmmm. It's not any nicer than the $40 courses that I play in the area.

I played in a golf tournament here, and I was very pleased with the layout of the course. Through the challenging front and back nines, (yes, 14, especially you) I was challenged both mentally and physically by the downpour. Good experience!

What an amazing course! The set up was spectacular, greens rolled well and were in great shape, and fairways well maintained. There is four different tee boxes for men, up to 6700 yards I think. The staff was top notch. Services fantastic. I walked it, but just know there are quite a few hills to go up and down. I would highly recommend checking out this country club.

We went to membership drive and looked at the facilities. Good clubhouse, restaurant, tennis facilities and golf practice area. If you like tennis this is the club for you. Some members told me that its hard to get good tee times in summer with all the tournaments scheduled. I wish the pool was enclosed for year round swimming.

We attended a wedding and hosted reception at this venue. The entire affair was brilliantly organized and came off smoothly. And the food was terrific, especially considering the fact that it was catered and served by a relatively small staff. Kudos Canterwood.

The chef we all give 5+ stars. The food was excellent and warm when served. Many people sought us out to give us compliments on the food. Canterwood Golf and Country Club came very highly recommended from another family member who had their wedding and reception at Canterwood. But as with all companies policies and people change. Our kids just had their wedding at canterwood. When you go there to consider canterwood venue for a function such as this, (ESPECIALLY IF YOUR FUNCTION IS IN THE UPCOMING YEAR), WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN THAT THEY ARE COVERING FOR THAT PRICE. AND SIGN THE CONTACT IMMEDIATELY IF THIS FITS YOUR BUDGET AND IS WHAT YOU WANT. We did not sign the contract when prices were quoted and agreed upon and the price raised $5.00 per person for the rehearsal to $4,000.00+ for the wedding. Return calls and emails for answers to questions are next to nil. We felt like they promised the moon, then abandoned us and pushed off the signing of the contracts. There was always one thing that she had to research to see if it could be done. Then when it came down to the wire, invitations sent, meal responses received, to late to book another venue, that's when they became hardnosed about prices and what they will deliver. Even though the food was great, Trista did come thru on the golf carts for our handicapped, I would never book a function at canterwood. You already have a lot on your plate planning a wedding, the stress that the kids went thru dealing with canterwood is NOT WORTH the beautiful setting.

I hate coming here because the gate staff is always so rude. My family members have memberships here so it's nice to meet them for dinner at the clubhouse. The food is wonderful and wait staff is terrific, but I hate going just because the folks at the gate are abominable.

I visited several individuals here while working home health. The homes are nice, not top grade, close together, well landscaped, fairly new. The golf course is well maintained, the tennis courts are not often in use, but seemed well maintained without any debris whatsoever
