You must have seen that it has an average rating is really good, and it is based on a high number of opinions, so we can be pretty sure that the score is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they are satisfied with the business, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to put feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Golf belongs to the category of Golf course.
Course is always in great shape and a great value for the cost.
It has a pretty good view, the food isn't too bad, but it's a little on the expensive side for the quality, the view is really nice though and the service was really good too. Overall it's a very solid choice, not much to downgrade it for but it can definitely be imrpoved upon.
I enjoy this unique challenging course.
Went to Apple Tree for Easter brunch. We were seated upstairs and it was absolutely, positively, most definitely the WORST food that I have ever been offered. I think the scrambled eggs were made from powdered eggs and served stone cold, the eggs Benedict were on an English muffin that had to be cut with a steak knife it was so tough and they were cold as well. Not hot, not warm but stone cold. The roast beef was raw. Not rare, but raw and it was cold also. The biscuits and gravy were horrible, the briskets were hard and crunchy in spots and the gravy had about as much flavor as drywall mud ! The salmon tasted like it was either canned or it had been frozen for 20 years. I don't know where they got their breakfast sausages but I believe they were steamed, not sauteed. They were extremely greasy and also stone cold. I think the only hot food served was the omelets. On a scale of 1 to 10, the omelets were a 2. I'm not sure what frozen waffles they used but they were equally as bad as the rest of the food served and staying consistent, they were tough as leather and also cold. There just was a very small variety of foods for a $24.00 per plate brunch, it looked to me like there was much more variety in the downstairs buffet but I wasn't able to get a really close look to compare. Apple Tree is advertised as a swanky country club (I know, its Yakima) but I've had much better food in a Southern California 9 hole, extremely low end golf course. Perhaps I'm spoiled from all the restaurants in Southern California I've eaten at but bad, cold food is not an "AREA" thing, this was a total disaster and whatever chef catered this brunch needs to be fired post haste !! I'm still fuming that I paid the bill, normally I would have had a "close talk" with the manager but my wife wouldn't let me, she didn't want me to cause a scene because it was Easter Sunday and all. The Easter Sunday brunch at Apple Tree Country Club earned ZERO stars from me and my family. I paid $172.00 for 8 people and I got SCREWED ! I wouldn't go back there for a meal or anything else on a damned bet ! I'm NOT a food critic or a picky eater at all and I can count the times I've complained at a restaurant on one hand. The more I think about paying $172.00 that I work my ass off to earn, for the poor excuse of a brunch that was supposed to be a celebration of our Lord and my family, the more pissed off I get. I guarantee that I will be writing them a nasty gram letter of how I rate their food service and I will be posting about our experience on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram ! Thanks for ruining my family's Easter celebration, Apple Tree !!
This has to be one of my favorite golf course I have ever played. It's very well maintained. Lots of water and sand everywhere. And it's signature island hole is beautiful and fun.
Very nice place to conversate and they have a great weekend buffet. Would recommend ☺
I have played Apple Tree Golf Course since it's first year of operation. It is a very interesting golf course with lots of contour, good greens and tees. Over the last 5 years the fairways have gotten worse. There is a real watering problem. Some areas very dry some so wet you can lose your ball. Even in late August your drive may plug in the fairway. I think it needs aeration and sanding. The restaurant and pro shop are excellent. They have a great practice area.
Good meal for the price. Waitress a little slow.
Excellent golf course. Not really a bad hole on the course, challenging but fair, the landscaping is amazing, and the greens are close to perfect (they do not break as much as they look). Every one of the staff we met were extremely pleasant. Pro shop has a huge selection of garb, and necessities. Rates are way worth it.
Incredible course. One of the best maintained courses during the driest months of the year.
Get a bite out of the Apple! Fun course. Great facilities. Awesome experience.
Great course takes 5 to 6 hours to play
Disappointing experience. We had reservations and they seated us at a folding plastic table with a table cloth. Food did not have great flavor and was very very average.
Love playing here!
Great, great place to rent and host a party!!
Highly recommend golfing here. A very beautiful course.
Nice Course , not $85.00 nice though .
The food was great but, the wait to be seated was terrible.
Situated high above a beautiful golf course, the restaurant is surrounded by windows and a large outdoor eating area. I had a delicious Cuban sandwich for lunch. Don't be in hurry and enjoy the view. Recommended.
Great views and golf but restaurant food and service need improvement...
Great round. The front nine and the last three of the back nine are great!
Great course for some evening golf. Greens are nice and quick. Fairly difficult course. Check it out.
Awesome well designed course and well maintained and manicured. Food is great at the restaurant too.
Great golf course. Well designed with much originality. Beautiful setting in the apple orchards. A must play course.
This course is well maintained, with beautiful views, challenging holes and friendly staff.
Wonderful atmosphere
Oh , a favorite destination for our family many years for the fantastic Easter brunch.. So great and reasonably priced.. beautiful. Golf course scenery bonus!! Fun lovely summer concerts..
Good food. Always friendly and great view.
An early disclaimer, this was the golf course that I grew up playing while in high school. I had the chance to come back a mere 16 years later and it remains a very fun spot to go waste about 5 hours! The course is well laid out, plenty of hills but relatively wide fairways. Trees to come into play, but are not overly burdensome. Plenty of lakes, sand traps and an occasional wandering stream keep everyone on their toes. The apple shaped 17th green is the signature hole and while there is plenty of water around it, the green is rather large. Makes for some nice pictures and hopefully a story about how you landed one closest to the pin on the Apple! Standard pro shop, A nice driving ridge across the street and over the past 10 years or so, plenty of houses that now line many of the fairways on the back nine. The rates are similar to just about anywhere that's worth playing. It ranges from $35-$60, depending on if you're playing early morning on a weekday or want a convenient tee Time on a weekend. All in all, a very nice course that accommodates golfers of all skill levels. It's forgiving, but challenging enough to keep you interested. Well worth checking out!
Very wide nice greens. Well maintained and great views.
Golf course was in incredible shape for February! A really fun layout with some gorgeous holes. Makes for a long haul if you're walking, but not impossible.
What a great course! Super fun
This is a beautiful place to play golf, attend a wedding or enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner!
An excellent and challenging golf course with beautifully maintained fairways and greens, travels through orchards and of course their famous 17th hole!
this golf course is amazing. we have a blast every visit and the staff fab.
Great Food
Lots of fun
Excellent view and food! I recommend it!
Super, great food a real pleasure
I heard great things from friends about Apple Tree but was not expecting it to live up to the hype. Wrong - it was fantastic! Layout was interesting without being tricked up. Greens were true and in great shape on August 12, 2019. Elevation changes galore. Five different tee boxes to choose from. Pro Shop staff (Ed) was helpful and professional. You drive through apple orchards on several cart paths and the apple-shaped island green on #17 was spectacular. Between course design, condition and helpful, friendly staff, this is one of my favorite courses in Washington. I live in Tucson but I will be back!
Got Tonic water here thinking it was the same as sparkling water, found out it's actually Malaria medicine. 5/5 Stars.
Clubhouse staff was super. We arrived at tee time due to road construction on White Pass. We were able to take off right away. Weather was in the low 90's. We have now played this course 3 times and walked this course once. Carts are preferred because of elevation changes, also today because of the heat. Fairways were in beautiful shape. The greens were great, nice roll to them. Took us about 5 hours to play. We drove what should have been 3 hours one way to play this course. Look forward to playing it again.
Great service great food
The best place to play a-round here (see what i did there) I love this course. Well managed, great maintenance.
Awesome!
Well maintained course.
Best breakfast in town as long as Peggy is working. If she's not there the service is very average at best.
Not for me a rich mans game dont have time
Very poor food! Skip it there are much better places in town.
Great experience on a fun yet challenging course.
For casual dining and one of the best places for outdoor seating, a beautiful view and a pretty good wine list this is my go to place! The service is always good, food is great for casual dining and you can't beat the view!.
Golf and great food!
This is a great golf course. Always in fantastic shape. Greens were fast and true. This is not a beginners course. And a 30 mph wind made it tougher.
Nice place to play. Great condition too.
The best golf course I have been to. Very well maintained and lots of fun on 17th.
Loved it, service and food was great so thank you to to staff working
Poorly maintained.
Great Golf Course but they should turn off their sprinklers in the Fairway during the day
I love you Bentley and Mommy 2... For ever and always!!!
It's very challenging Golf Course with magnificent holes and views. The golf course was in great shape as always with a friendly staff in the Pro Shop
We had a 60th birthday party for a sister in law and the staff was very attentive and fun. Thank You
The most nicest courses I golfed
Good layout, unique design through an old Apple orchard. #9, and 18 are my favorite holes, good risk reward tee shots.
Unique and challenging, beautiful
This golf course is very nice. The slope of the green is very difficult to putting. No. 17 hole is so beautiful, I can experience a very thrilling shots. I hope have the opportunity to visit in this course again!
Just played this course, fantastic design and layout. Good fairways. Good greens, although they are a little spongy due to over watering I think. The apple trees are impossible to get out of, so I recommend don't get into them! Price is a high if you are not a resident of Yakima, but I feel worth the price once in a while
Great staff and great food! Surprisingly reasonable prices!
The patio view is amazing, especially at sunset. I took a date here and the staff was amazing, as well as the food, as well as the wine. They let us stay until after close and share our first kiss on the balcony. Overall it was the perfect experience!
A beautiful course with big greens, forgiving fairways and some wonderful sand traps. If water gets into your head, bring plenty of balls.
Fat rude people on the balcony yelling. Not a sports stadium atmosphere
Very nice food and great golf course views
Great place to eat and play a round of golf
One of our favorite restaurants, especially for lunch or after 18. The food is excellently prepared, service is above average and the servers are generally friendly nd professional. It also has full bar service (no bar though) and some great micro brews on tap. Try it and my wife and think you will agree on our appraisal.
Great place to go for a round golf.
Realxing, with great views. Mango Cart on tap now! Yummy!
Good food and beautiful scenery.
This is very gorgeous golf course and the people are very helpful.
Awesome, Ross from the pro shop was so nice and inviting, it felt like home. And the course was superb.
Best Yakima golf!
Really nice course kinda hard to find the next tee off with no sings. No bar and the restaurant is pretentious also closed very early not that I wanted to pay a lot for a lunch menu that was mediocre at best.
Great golf course!
Nice place and supper clean and a nice view
great course, enjoyed the grille, just all around great
Excellent service excellent food excellent customer care
I love this course! I remember watching it being constructed in the early to mid 90s right when I was starting to play golf. This course (and a nine iron shot I hit about eight feet from the hole when I was a new crappy golfer) got me hooked on golf. It has a good variety of holes and terrain. I love the first hole...a significantly elevated tee on a par four. Of course the 17th hole is unique and amazing but there are several other memorable holes. Great course! Whoever gave a one or two star review should have their golf clubs taken from them and be forced to play with the first clubs ever made for the rest of their life. I occasionally day dream about playing this course (I live in flat Florida now).
Great fun course to play
Always great food and good place to gather.
Love this course, drive 3.5 hours to play at least once a year
I really like your practice facility, however, if you replaced the old worn out balls on the driving range, I'm sure the range would get a lot more action and would pay for the cost of the new range balls!
Beautiful setting and great food and service!
Have never been disappointed. Great food, great view, great atmosphere!
Nice course enjoyed it even on freshly aerated and sanded greens. I respected the fact that they knew the course was not in it's top condition and charged accordingly.
Very well kept golf course. Love playing this golf course every time. Hole 17 is an awesome experience! If you haven’t played here, give this golf course a try.
Great course, and amenities, enjoy it every time I play
One word here: Golfboard!! It was a blast!! Course is great as well..fairly challenging.
Fun
Everything was just great
Had a great time pleasure to play there
As much as i hate to write this, i feel i have to!! As an ex employee on the grounds crew(15-20 years ago) and avid golfer. Took my son brother in law and nephew there to golf(twilight rates). The golf course was the worst i have ever seen. After the 9th hole my son and nephew wantes a hot dog. The guy openes the window and said we are busy and sone one will help you in a bit... After 10 minutes of waiting we finally left and continued on without snacks
Fun course to play but greens need some work.
Came down to Apple Tree for better weather in mid- September avoiding storms at home. Lovely location. Course in great condition. A little confusing finding the range but ok. Loved the apple green - Shame it’s not the 18th as the uphill 18th with lots of water is tough finishing hole.
The food at the restaurant is delicious. Great for both mother's day and easter!
They have the best Sunday brunch in town!
Really nice place. Food was good. Nice scenery
Special shout out to the Gentlemen in the Clubhouse on the 13th of July at noontime! Thanks so much for taking care of us. Your appreciation for Military is much appreciated, great course, we will be back!
Best golf course in central Washington
Great French toast for breakfast.
Great view great people really nice place to dine and of course play golf well recommended!
Fairways were in great shape but the greens were a little slow
Two events at once was not good. Not enough room. People were turned away.
Good food. Prices good. Atmosphere good.
Beautiful course with a good club house restaurant that has an excellent Sunday brunch.
Famous for it's apple shaped island green, this course was once a beauty winding through the apple orchards until the inevitable development took hold. Now it is surrounded by a planned community making the course seem far more ordinary.
Not very accessible. Nice spot.
In my top 3 golf courses in Washington. I love the challenge of it and I'm a sucker for signature holes. 17 is fun Everytime.
You can golf on the snow. But finding your ball... well ...you cant. The food is really good but, I would recommend Wendy's instead.
Good food, good view. Prices fair. Recently went to an event upstairs. There was no restroom and no wheelchair access. Very disappointed.
This place is super cool!! Awesome food and scenery.
GREAT SERVICE
Bright, airy, good food with something for anyone and a friely , helpful staff.
The course is beautiful, and for me challenging which made it very fun.
Challenging course, massive greens and a great golf atmosphere
Had breakfast there it was very good
Very well maintained....
Very good food! And of course it is at a beautiful location!
My company provides service to Apple Tree Restaurant. They are very nice and great to work with.
Nice course, but overpriced and poor customer service.
My happy place in Yakima, whether I'm golfing or not. Beautiful setting, great outdoor bar and patio.
