As of day the firm gets a rating of 4.6 stars out of 5 and the rating has been calculated on 144 reviews.
As you can read, it reaches an feddbacks average is basically the top, and it is based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may say that the valuation is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to give their score when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to put scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Golf is included in the category of Public golf course.
Stayed nearby and was able to play here one morning. Very nice property, it was easy to get a tee time. Staff was very helpful and attentive, the Ranger offered great advice and was extremely pleasant to chat with. Course was challenging, I loved the Waterfall course, which had a mini-golf component to it, very fun. I loved the baseball field hole. Also had some history smack dab in the middle, having an old cemetery and a documented building from the Civil War with a plaque describing its usage. Loved the challenge of a par 6 800+ yard hole (got there in 4 and 3 putted). One criticism I’d make is the cicada killer wasps had burrowed into a few greens, making it a little daunting to get through those. Other than the couple of greens, I think the course was in pretty solid shape- well-cut fairways, tee boxes looked in good shape for the most part, and the greens were fast. Really enjoyed playing here, if my travels bring me back, I’d definitely return.
I love this place! The staff is awesome and the course is improving every time I go out there. I am very excited for the future of the course and plan on continuing to lose many balls on this course.
The course was in the best shape ever. They are working hard here and it reflects in the course. The greens are in fantastic shape ,toughest greens around without a doubt.
I am going to give 5 stars simply because I believe it deserves more than 4 and 4.5 is not an option. Fairways and greens are in very good condition but the tee boxes need a lot of work. I also thought it was strange that they didn’t open the pro shop until 7:45 when we had an 8:03 tee time. We had to wait out in front of the building for them to open the doors like we wanted a tv on Black Friday. Thought that was a little tacky for a golf course. The entire staff was super friendly, welcoming and accommodating. What a beautiful piece of property this golf course is on. Truly a gem. I will be back!
Great Staff, very interesting course. In very nice shape. Played Island and Waterfall.
Good golf course and very nice employees
Great course with a driving range and 27 holes. 28 if you include the practice hole. Course and carts are maintained well and the clubhouse is nice. Also has the longest hole in the United States. A member of the staff typically drives around on a golf cart selling beer. It is my favorite course near Fredericksburg.
The bermuda grass throughout the fairways have been a great addition! The green speed is average but all roll true are are in great shape. The course is wide open so if you're having a bad day this course will be pretty forgiving. All of the par 3s are easily reachable by any player. I drive from Alexandria to play here about once a month, it's definitely worth it!
Enjoyable day on the links. Friendly and helpful staff in everyday. Can't wait to go back.
Weather was nice. All course is awesome. I'm really enjoying golf today. All staff is so kind and nice.
The Dotson's have put together a wonderful golf experience!! From the time my group from the Lynchburg, Va. area got there we were welcomed as if we played there all the time. The golf course is IN GREAT SHAPE!!!!! From the fairways and 1st cut to the greens it is a great place to spend the day!! The pro shop and restaurant were very professional, reasonably priced and Quick on a very busy Monday!! Me and my guys will definitely make the 2 hour trip again in the future!!!
Home of the longest hole. Great course!
Played the Waterfall and Longest Hole nines. Course in decent shape. Waterfall nine had a "putt putt" feel on some of the holes, but in a good way. Longest Hole nine is less interesting but loves us to the name. Overall, worth the money for a unique experience.
We sponsored a golf tournament for the Orange County free clinic Josh Dodson and his crew are amazing Longest hole in the United States !
Loved it! Very fair. Great layout. 27 holes.
Different in a good way. Lots of cool holes on this 27 hole lay out. Greens are slow. But will be back.
My experience was very very
Great place for golf!
This golf course has come a long way. The fairways are in good shape and the greens are much nicer than in the past.
We played our end of year league tournament there on September 29. It was pretty wet. They had a lot of rain in the past months. Greens were nice. Rough was high and fairways could've been cut a little c lo over but, all in all a pretty nice tract
Great people working there, love the fact that there are 3 nine hole courses.
There is not a better golf course in the Fredericksburg area than Meadows Farm Golf Course. The fairways and greens have been in great shape all year and still look and play great late in the season. Josh and his staff strive to make everyone feel at home and welcome. With 27 holes of golf you never have to play the same 18 holes in a row. Best golfing value around.
Fairways and greens are in awesome shape. I had awesome lie on every fairway shot. Some other area courses with "better reputations" are in worse shape right now. Course boasts the longest USGA hole at 821 yards from the tips. 27 holes total. Starter, cart staff, pro shop staff all very helpful. For the low handicaps this course might not be enough of a challenge.
I travel to VA once a year and always make it a point to drive down from Arlington to play Meadows Farms GC. There is only one course with the longest hole in North America, and this is it. If you are looking for pretentious staff and 'tour quality' playing conditions, this isn't the course for you. If a fun and unique round of entertaining golf is appealing and you aren't afraid to use your toe-wedge, enjoy your day on a casual course with friendly staff. Is it gimmicky? Perhaps, there are few other ways to describe a baseball diamond par 3 hole. However, there are also picturesque fairways and historical landmarks along the way.
Unbelievable service. Great people. And a great course.
Great golf course! Tough the first time through. Great twilight rate!
Nice course, but greens where in tough shape.
Excellent course for the price.
Gotten a little pricey but still a fun course to play
Great course. Great staff.
Many courses in this area. But there's only one of these. Three different nine holes. All play differently all of very challenging. Fair way are very forgiving. But require you to be on them. Greens a lot of fun. Definitely on my list to come back. The staff make the difference though. First class, all the way. Not snobbish in anyway. Josh run the great crew. Starters are all helpful and friendly. Marshall just all right. Only Kidding.
Meadows Farms is the best. The course is in great shape but the most important thing that keeps bringing me back are the people. So much fun!!
Best course in the area. Friendly service, good food, worth playing every week.
Playing sometimes two and three times a week. All staff actually have unique personalities. Best customer service anywhere, driving range and snack bar are great as well as prices..love this place ....
Course is in great shape, staff excellent as usual.
Beautiful course. Greens way fast
Moved into the area 4 years ago and Meadows has hands down been my favorite course. Good environment in the club house and fun course! Keep it up guys. On that note reading some of the previous posts from a few years ago, I would have to say they have come a long way especially over this last winter. Reviews from customers are great but, I really recommend if you're reading this go give the course and look for your self. With full confidence I would say you won't be disappointed.
Golf
Wow. What a great golf course. I'm hoping, Google should have a way for poor reviews to drop off after a certain period, or particularly, as in this case, new management takes over. Today was the first time I played, and it is an incredible course. Played in a group outing today, but I would make the occasional trip from Chesterfield to play here, especially to treat someone that hasn't played here to a hidden gem. Again, excellent course, great job, and keep up the great work!
Fun course reasonably priced
Fun big course. Customer service was great as well. The course doesn't have longest yard open right now but the other two are fun
Excellent course! Well maintain, plays well, courteous staff and great value
A fun and challenging course with a lot of variety.
I'm on the fence about them. A few years ago one of their cart Boys stole my husband cell phone. So I haven't gone back much, but golf is golf I just watch my things more carefully now
I played this course this past weekend and was extremely disappointed. Normally the course is in great shape and has been for the past few years. However, this time most of the greens on the Island/Long were burnt or dead. It looked like the rough hadn’t been cut in 3 weeks. My playing partner lost 3 balls no more the 10ft off the cart path (Ridiculous). I think the thing that bothers me the most is the staff knows the condition of the course and still charged FULL PRICE!!! I will not be going back until I get word that the course is fit to play.
Very nice.
For the past 3 years or so, consistently best course conditions (tee to green) and staff in the area.
One of the best kept golf course in the entire area. Josh and the crew does a wonderful job to keep it in great condition no matter what mother nature throws at them. 27 holes that are great for the beginner golfer yet provide some challenges for better players - a great place to take a spouse or friend that is new to the game. Fairways are wide and not too many trees to lose your ball. The staff is superb and friendly and you cannot help to feel like a part of the family.
Course was nice
This was our first visit to Meadows Farms. We have zero golfing experience, but had a great time on the driving range. The employees were helpful and friendly. We'll be back!
Great course unless it is "carta path only". Greens were lightning fast... Great staff.
3 nine hole course op en
Played here on Sunday and the course is in great shape and with so many unique holes that even if you don't play well you will still have a lot of fun. The management is great with customer service second to none I know I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone.
Absolutely great condition. Love golfing meadows farm.
Lots of fun for average golfers!
I NEVER DO REVIEWS, HOWEVER, I HAD TO ON THIS. I AM FROM SOUTH CAROLINA, VISITING MY FAMILY AT OUR LAKE HOUSE (LAKE ANNA VA.) AND WANTED TO PLAY GOLF WITH RELATIVES. FOUND THIS GOLF COURSE 25 MINS AWAY FROM THE LAKE HOUSE, WHAT A HIDDEN GEM. TRUELY ONE OF THE BEST GOLF COURSES I HAVE EVER PLAYED, AND I HAVE PLAYED HUNDREDS. ISLAND PAR 3'S, THE LONGEST HOLE IVE EVER PLAYED (841 YDS, PAR 6) AND THE WATERFALL HOLE WERE JUST SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS. NOT TO MENTION THE HISTORIC CIVIL WAR HOSPITAL AND GRAVEYARD WE ENCOUNTERED ON THE COURSE. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO PLAYING THIS COURSE EVERY TIME I GO TO LAKE ANNA IN THE SUMMERS.
Great shape
Great course in wonderful shape
Great staff golf course is in great condition
Course was in great shape except for the tee boxes. It was also very dry but I feel that this was due to lack of rain.
Over charged, no carts available for our tee time, started a group immediately after us, took 6 hours and still didn't finish 18 due to the start
Pristine conditions on all fairways, greens, & sand traps. In addition there is even a par 4 practice hole to loosen up as well as a par 6 hole on one of the 3 nines that are available!
Beautiful courses. Well maintained. Great price.
Had a good round, course is in good shape, greens are a little fast.
One of the best Golf courses around.Any level of golf is available. Owners/staff always ready to help out, good food and prices.
Beautiful setting
Fun place to play some golf
Great value for the money. Not the best greens this time of year, but tolerable. Friendly service and the cheapest (playable) place place anywhere near Fredericksburg. Three 9 hole courses here. Recommend playing Island to Waterfall. Stay away from Longest. Has the longest hole in North America. For the amateur player, it is maddening.
Course and greens were in beautiful condition. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great value!!
Awesome golf course!
Great place to play.Course in best condition that I've seen it in years.
Fun to play. Longest hole in the US.
The course is in a lot better shape than it has been in years
Great golf, 27 holes and beautiful.
Weathered the cold and windy conditions yesterday and the course did not disappoint. Can't wait to revisit in the spring or on another day when the weather is nice. Looking forward to putting Meadows Farm on our golf rotation!!
Great place. Great people Best course in Fredericksburg.
The course in great shape, I enjoyed myself fun.
Really friendly staff and great course conditions
These folks know how to treat golfers the right way. I loved the layout, it was fun and in great shape. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The all you can play after 2pm rate is a huge value. Although there are some blind shots, the holes are not that hard to figure out. Really like how the Willis house and the family burial plot are treated with respect. Would recommend this course to anyone, you must play it if you can.
Always great wonderful staff excellent conditions on course.
My favorite course in va
Always enjoyed the times I have played there, course I always in great condition
Great course and fairly priced.
Nice course. Well maintained. Greens and fairways in good shape. Rough is well cut but thick -- it's a good idea to stay out of it! Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Very reasonable price. I highly recommend.
