Play here for the first time a couple of days ago. Wonderful course. I don't normally give 5 star reviews even for places I think are great but this course really surprised me. Not necessarily the nicest course I've played, but the course was in good shape and there weren't any problem areas on the course. Pro shop and restaurant are both very nice. Played 18 for $25 on a Saturday afternoon. You just can't beat that. Will be visiting here again soon.

The golf course staff is always friendly and the course is in decent shape except for the bunkers, which need some work. Not an overly challenging layout but great for beginners. Always an enjoyable round

Itd great place to come in and have a bite to eat. They have a great selection to choose from not the biggest menu but i guarantee everything that is on there is 100% guaranteed to satisfy your tastes and stomach. The staff is friendly and very welcoming and the set uo has a very comfortable feel about it. Overall i really enjoy coming out here on the weekends for a few drinks as well for myself to get my stomachs worth lol

Challenging yet fun golf course. Staff helpful and friendly. Pace of play is excellent. Lessons available from PGA Professional Troy Thorne, who goes above and beyond to support local golfers and juniors in the area. Try it out. You will not be disappointed!

Solid public course for $42 midweek. Open links style, not difficult. Poor drainage from multiple sand traps that were full of standing water. Those that were dry were rock hard with very little sand. Greens were in great shape. Nice little pro shop and restaurant. Friendly staff. Worth a round if in the area. I'm between 3 and 4 stars and going with 3 because nothing really stood out and seems a bit overrated. Would definitely play it again.

I played the course today for the first time. This course has the best fairways that I have ever played, other than The Tidewater in North Myrtle Beach. The greens were absolutely superb. It is pretty wide open and fairly easy to post a decent score. It does play long on some holes, but that just makes it challenging. It was a 70 mile drive from my house to Hobbs Hole Golf Course, but I will be back again, and I would highly recommend it!

We had a group of 15 or 16 with reservation at 12pm. Food was good. We weren't satisfied not being served until 1;30.

Played yesterday, course in very nice condition. Greens had been aerated last week I was told. They hadn't filled in completely. but overall course was above average for Richmond area.
