You will be able to see all the reviews of people who have information of the products and services of Mountain Dell Golf Course (Golf) in the area close to Utah.
At this moment the business gets a score of 4.4 stars over 5 and that rating was based on 423 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is quite high, and it's based on a high number of opinions, so we can say that the evaluation is very credible. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they are satisfied with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to put opinions when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Golf is included in the category of Golf course.
Great course. Really nice way to spend a day. Always seams like they take really good care of the greens. So if you are looking for a place to go play 18. This is the place
I’ve only played this course once but it was such a pretty course that I’m sure I’ll be back soon. Located up Parley’s Canyon is nice because it gets you out of the city and you’re surrounded by beautiful mountains. It is just off of I-80 so there is a lot of traffic going up and down the canyon but it doesn’t seem to detract from the scenery as much as you would think. I wasn’t a fan of the gas powered golf carts but I got over it pretty quickly since it was better than walking. Being that it’s a county course it was still pretty affordable for 18-holes for an amateur like me.
I never went here so not sure why Google keeps asking for my review. Looks lovely from the road and Moose sightings regularly.
Beautiful views, and very helpful staff.
Good
Looks like a great place to golf
Loved it awesome place to come chill and enjoy a great sport.
Average municipal course. Played the Lakes. It's has some memorable holes, which is nice. Average grill. It's an average municipal course.
I've played this course multiple times and have never had issues. I have seen many different wildlife including, mountain lions, deer, elk, squirrels and most recently a moose chilling in the shade. The course is always in excellent condition and the greens look and play great. I just recently played in a small friendly tournament. Our tee time was for 10:54. Mountain Dell didn't call us out to the tee box until 11:31. Around hole 5 the Marshall came around and told us we were playing too slow and to speed it up, because the team in front of us were 3 holes ahead. I told the Marshall that it's because we got called out to our tee 37 minutes late. He said that didn't play a factor and to speed it up. By now the team behind us was at least a hole behind. When we finished a hole, the team behind us weren't even to the tee box yet. We weren't pushing anyone and nobody was waiting on us. I explained to the Marshall that we were not the bottleneck issue and it was obvious that we were not. He followed us around the course, would park and just glare at us. He even stopped by the snack bar between hole 10 &11 and waited for us to order drinks. After I ordered my drink the team behind us hadn't even got to the 10 tee box and we were headed to 11. He told me again that we needed to speed it up. I pointed to the 10th tee box and said, "Look, the team behind us isn't even on the tee box yet". He just looked at us and said, "I don't care, I need you to speed it up." This Marshall was intentionally pestering us because we spoke up for ourselves and he knew we were right. Just because you're titled a Marshall doesn't mean you can be a D!@&. Suggestion: Change the sign and title from "Marshall" to "Players Assistance". It was super uncomfortable and highly irritating. TLDR; Mountain Dell called us out to the tee box 37 minutes passed our tee time, then had the Marshall follow us around to speed us up to make up for the lost time Mountain Dell failed to manage.
Favorite course
Nice golfing
This is one of the best public courses in the state without question! They offer thirty six holes (Lake and Canyons) along with a full driving range. The play is typically quick and the Pro's/Starters have been working here forever and know there stuff.
Love that it is still open for sledding in the winter. Great memories have been here and will be.
One of the best and most beautiful courses in the state.
Nice
Good
Great skate skiing.
Course was in good shape. We felt there were groups cutting in front of us most of the day.
Nice terrain.
Very well maintained golf course, love the animal life. Super hard course but I will be coming back
i just drive past it several times per week. its very beautiful. ill score it for beauty.
Played the Canyon side. Fun course, friendly staff, pricing is typical. Beautiful scenery.
Great snowshoe stomp
Probably the best Salt Lake City Muni course, 36 holes played as the lake course and the mountain course. Both have pretty big elevation changes over the 18 holes. Generally in excellent condition. Has a grass driving range in okay shape. Overall for the price hard to beat. Can be busy and will sometimes play slow on weekends but during the week is usually fine. Plenty of parking.
Beautiful golf course
Love me some Mountain Dell. Cooler in the summer, amazing in the fall. Nothing better than coming down the back 9 of the canyon course at dusk.
Great course
The most beautiful golf course I've ever seen
Very Quite and RELAXING
Very nice golf course.
Great course and even better scenery
Always perfect
Two courses and a driving range. Lakes course is more challenging than Canyons. Both provide good views and frequent opportunities to see wildlife. Friendly staff in the pro shop. Reserve online or they can help with a tee time by phone or in the shop.
I've been playing rounds of golf at mountain Dell since the early sixties even before they had to Lake course it is one of my favorite places to be
Love the lake course although the canyon course is good. The small fairways inflate scores but always a great time.
The clubhouse staff was very accommodating. The course was in very good shape.
Nice layout. Good condition for a public course.
Best xc skiing conditions in the state. The volunteer maintenance crew is dedicated. Most frequently groomed trail in the Wasach Mountains. Thank you for all your work.
Coyote feeding on the pot guts, cool.
Fun course
Always awesome
IMO...this is far and away the flagship for SL municipal courses. Pick an 18 to play and then enjoy 4-5 hours of beauty. The cafe after is a perfect way to end the round.
This might be the best Muni in the country. 36 blissful holes, surrounded by scenic mountains and a lake. Watch out for the Moose!
Idk I've never been there. Golf is gay
Im very disappointed in the conditions of the course. The greens are bumpy and spongy. The tee boxes were uneven lyes. I have never seen soo many gophers in my life, I had to slow down repeatedly to avoid running them over...if you didnt land on the fairway chances were you would loose your ball in a gopher hole.
Beautiful course! I came in from out of state and went to this course at the suggestion of a friend. I loved the sceney of the mountain backdrop. Course has an interesting layout and was really fun to play. Guy in the pro shop in Ute paraphernalia was amazingly rude. Maintenance crew in their Ute paraphernalia (common theme?) were irritated that we had the nerve to be on their course while they were mowing??? On two different holes mowed on the green while we were chipping on. The manic big kid managing the golf carts was aggressively driving and parking the carts with complete disregard to anyone around him. If you can get over the mean people there I definitely recommend the course.
Beautiful golf course, always cooler in the summer months due to its location. Well maintained greens and fairways.
Fantastic course in the Rocky Mountains
Mountain Dell is one of the finest golf courses in the Salt Lake area. The Pro Shop staff is fantastic.
Fun times on a Friday night special. Too bad they close the snack shack before you even get to the turn. It's hot out so stock up on beverages before you leave the clubhouse.
Andrew is a terrific assistant in the pro shop. Very efficient and great to work with. My friends and I look forward to seeing him every weekend during the season.
Beautiful
Really great place. Two courses and they are both really fun. Great to get out of the heat from the valley to play a round.
Coming from the Midwest we felt a little pushed by management. But all in all it was a great course.
I didnt know it was 18 holes only as I was planning on only doing 9. The guy was understanding but now I know for next time. Course was great and well kept. Will be back
Great place to go.
Good place to x-country ski in winter. Nice setting except for the noise of vehicle traffic (I-80) and the smell of burned brakes from semis.
Very Beautiful course with complex features. Lots of walking if you don't have a cart. Good price for the location.
Decent pace for twilight (4 hrs), awesome friendly staff (thanks Gabby for the roadies), firm greens, well maintained fairways. Definitely on the rotation!
Good xc skiing.
Two great mountain courses. The Lake and the Canyon. Do not walk the Lake course!
Very busy,. But well maintained
Great course, kind pro shop, good food, and an incredible layout.
Great place with hard working employees
Awesome., challenging course.....loves it.
For me you need to come and see it for you self
Good ol'e grand secrets of parleys canyon.
Good course, good pace
Very scenic golf course and surprisingly owned and operated by Salt Lake city . The reason for only 4 star rating is because 5 holes of the 18 hole course are under construction.
Cross country skiing was excellent with the fresh snow that came in Friday night. Get out and enjoy
My home track. 36 holes. Up the canyon. Wild life. Well kept. Greens like velvet. Real golf. You will not be disappointed.
If you like golf
Gorgeous views - good driving range
Went here on the spur of the moment to get a round. The course is in superb condition. is challenging and beautiful. The staff were helpful beyond expectation. The members made me very welcome. One of the best rounds I have had. Would recommend to anyone who wants a game in SLC.
The course is in good shape, however it over priced. All the sand traps were not raked crusted sand. It is a fun course to play.
Such a beautiful course.
Two 18 hole courses with great vistas, abundant wildlife, and challenging greens.
Unassuming course located in the foothills. We played the Canyon layout and while it was relatively straight, the rough was thick and there was well placed hazard to force you to think about your tee shots. Greens were slightly more difficult than average. Not the best infrastructure in terms of cart paths, facilities, etc.
Beautiful
Love the scenic route up there.. :)
Way too expensive! A bit noisy... freeway noise!
I drove past at 75 mph. Thanks for asking, google.
Very pretty
Don’t go for sledding it’s terrible they blocked off all the steep hills the golf course is great I’ll change my review after the spring comes I’m just trying to save people the trouble
Worst experience ever IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS, I WOULD!! Do not got there. Jeremy is terrible in the front office ( I think he said he was the manager hahahahahahahahahahaha!) "Ranger Dan on the course" Doug, I believe his name is, are both terrible and have no tact with paying customers... If running a business is pushing people aside and pestering/ruining/ pissing all over your day of golf ( which for most of us is a pleasure) they would get 5 stars. DO NOT GO THERE!!! THANKS FOR TAKING MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND MAKING MY SUNDAY THE WORST! CHEERS! Chad J.
Beautiful course great Mountain scenery
Played 18 yesterday. Well maintained and still a beautiful course after all of these years. Staff are uber friendly and helpful. I'll be back for sure.
Beautiful and spectacular!
One of the most spectacular restaurants in all of Western USA, Ambience, Food, Service, par excellence.
Look at the most recent reviews and you will understand why I'm not going back in a long time either. We used to go to this golf course often because we love it's location and it's greens. This year has been a whole other story. I wouldn't normally post, but this past experience has me pretty upset. I have golfed across many greens throughout the whole state and by in large have received the worst customer service here. This photo is to prove that there are two whole other groups in front of us all day. A four group team is on the green, one teeing up, and then us waiting right behind them. We dipped out of play for probably five minutes to visit the restroom and eat a quick snack at 9 holes because we had been chasing these two groups all day. Not wanting to stress them or try to pass two groups, we just took a little time. Then we were chided upon for being 15 minutes behind and told we should speed up our four person play, even though we were on play 15 minutes before our scheduled tee time. Then the same individual came back out and talked to us again. This pretty much ruined the whole experience. I know I skipped several holes and hits just because it didn't even feel worth it to play anymore. To spend a lot of money doing a nice activity outside, didn't end up feeling that way. I'm not sure if they overbooked on their end, but maybe they should make some adjustments. The fact the staff was not understanding what their actions caused shows they don't really seem to care about particular groups who golf here.
Love the wildlife we encounter on this course. We saw coyotes and deer and a red tailed hawk catching one of the ground squirrels last night. Thank you for making it a great place to golf without eradicating the wildlife. The course is challenging but very scenic and fun. And the staff is always friendly and helpful. Definitely one of my favorites.
Beautiful well kept course!! Great for all levels of experience ⛳
Love this golf course. Amateaurs will still have fun but challenging golf course
Best high school
Assumed closure of this golf course is blamable for assumed closure of Sandwedge Cafe which left no response on inquiring phone call about being open or not after I saw road closure signs. The cafe was my planned lunch stop on a long road trip.
This golf course had great views, paving for carts and cars.
This place is out standing. Two courses. We saw a moose in the lake . Was awesome. Had best time
Dr. Fazio very thorough very excellent great location
Friendly staff and cold beer.
Lake Course: Nice moderate course with a beautiful scenery. Love the look of #4 hole (over the reservoir). Canyon Course: Back 9 is tough. You can easily lose your balls and shoot high score here. A lots up & down with a beautiful scenery. You may see deer, hawk, elk and will see many ground squirrels. I noticed the club staff look down customers.
Not bad nice scenery good people
The views and club house are great. The course needs some TLC with some more yardage markers. But they did figure out how to deter the Prairie Dogs which were ruining the course so that's a huge upswing.
Beautiful course, in great condition.
Easy to get to, just outside of the city barely in the mointains
Great golf course just above the city!
Great course. Open and sorta long. Watch out for some seriously slow golfers though. Obscenely slow.
Such a nice course, and plenty of vertical. Despite being within a couple hundred feet of an interstate (I-80), you don't really notice it.
Amazing mountain golf course with great views. Has some great challenging holes.
Great course diverse types of holes, makes it interesting, challenging but doable...pretty...out of city
Allot of hunting pressure in the area. Haha
I loved both courses. Super nice that they had a concession stand. A lot of animals on the course! They actually stole one of my friends balls! Great course definitely recommend
Not sure why mountain fell keeps popping up I have never been there. It green which makes it great I guess?!
Beautiful golf experience. Ride the Mountain Course for majestic views and tee shots or walk the Lake Course for a classic course and a walk in the park.
WASHINGTON TERRACE Great venue with tons of tables, shade and open areas. Because it is located next to a golf course, some golfers might get upset if your group is rowdy. Volleyball cement pad is falling apart and shoes are required. There is a small stream that comes through as well, so if you play volleyball, you'll we wading into the stream to get ball at least once.
We attended a wedding the. Never even been there befor. Suprize, it was nice. Take your family there. Or better yet, have your family outing or reunion the. Nice. Clean and out doresy. I don,t know if it cost or not. Bit try it first and than proceed.
Two challenging courses that are a whole lot of fun. Views are great with a good chance to see wildlife.
Never met a course I didn't like and this one is no exception. Plenty of opportunities to jump and cheer, plenty of opportunities to weep and wail, not mention calling upon the Almighty.
Great all around golf course. Great location, very beautiful, challenging, fun and well maintained. The price is very reasonable as well. Having 2 different 18 hole courses here makes it even better.
Incredible landscape with breathtaking views!
Challenging course, friendly staff, great breakfast burritos. Oh, and the lake views are great! Come play a round with your friends sometime.
A worth seeing place. Must visit if you around the city.
It's a great place to golf and get away.
Great time skiing here. Cross country skiing is like six bucks, pay at this little booth. They had it well taken care of it wasn't that chopped up and was recently groomed. Fun trail, sort of hilly
I love to play this course in the summer. They have two 18 hole tracks both are awesome.
Awesome views and very well kept, consistent fairways and greens. Friendly staff and competitive golfers. Two 18 hole courses and both are tons of fun. Cooler temperatures than the courses in the valley in the summer. The Lake Course is my favorite. Very interesting layouts and exciting challenges.
Love the course. Both the Canyon and Lake courses are beautiful. A little cooler than golfing in the valley
Great course! Hidden gem of the SLC public courses!
Just beautifull...
Another great place to go and golf! Also well maintained.
Disappointing day at mountain Dell.its usually my favorite. Marshall yelled at us to hurry. He didn't take into consideration the 4 behind us were playing best ball. It will be awhile before I go back.
Super friendly staff and two beautiful and challenging tracks for any level golfer. Always have some great winter rates especially on the Lake course which is walkable . Don't forget your camera.
Went to snowshoe, a bit too warm. Kids had a great time with their sleds. Steep hill, lots of cross country skiing terrain, snowshoeing and it's free. Drive up, take your snow equipment, get fresh air.
Great course to get out of the city... Lots of wildlife
Awesome courses and canyon views!
Beautiful course... Friendly staff
Great course, played very slow that day
Beautiful course! Played all 18 holes for the first time here. The scenery is to die for. We were lucky enough to see a moose lounging on the side lines of the 9th hole. The only unpleasant part of this course was the golf marshal. He was rude, irritating and full of nonsense. This dude stalked us for 3 holes and had me to the point of becoming belligerent. There was no reason to push us through when the team behind us was 10 minutes from even coming close to having to wait on us. Best part was about the 16th hole we saw a dude wandering the bush picking up rogue balls in a mechanics outfit. Closest thing I've seen yet to Bill Murray's character from Caddy Shack.
Nice golf course, just drove by, not a golfer
Beautiful setting! Extremely lush and green. Greens are very long and furry. I assume this is because of the large amount of snow fall and that it is still early summer? Looking forward to playing when they get the greens rolling again.
36 great holes to play here. I like the lake course a little more than the canyon but both are fun. Not a place I want to walk. My favorite hole is #4 on the lake course.
I have to say that since the new head pro Jeremy Green has been put in the mix he has changed this golf course for the better for years to come such an amazing men's league Eric does such a great job as well all the staff really very friendly great place to Golf always in good shape, very rarely are you waiting, kitchen staff is incredible, just a great atmosphere all around!
Great place to play golf. Love the mountain setting,
Beautifully
Great XC skiing. Groomed daily. 8 miles of course if you do it all in one go. We regularly see moose.
Great place to get away
Great course, challenging, amazing views, you get to use most of the clubs in your bag, friendly staff and they are always checking on people to keep the flow, definitely coming back.
Fun and tight track. Great views. You get to count strokes for every gopher you hit which can help your short game. We also saw deer and moose.
Tough course at times but really fun to play. Play early though
Well maintained and great staff
Nice golf course with great views.
Love going here, lake course is great. The mountain course is a real challenge though.
Good place for cross country skiing
Nice course but they act like you are putting them out by being there
Great place for nordic skiing
Both the Canyon Course and the Lake Course were amazing!!! Both were in excellent shape and the wide life and scenic views can't be beat. The staff was really accommodating and very friendly. The pace of play was great, 18 holes in roughly 4.5 hours. Will definitely be returning to play these course in the future!!!
All of these and the ppl that go to them should disaper
Ive played this course several times. It was awesome and in great shape as always
So fun
