Great place to learn. Nicely shaded.
My husband and I golf here all the time. It's busier in the evening but the greens and fairways are in great shape. Highly recommend it if you have the itch for 9 or 18 holes!
Fantastic love the driving range, they have a great course with what they have to work with. I have always had a great experience with staff, have loved every visit I will return time and again for a good game of golf.
The most accommodating crew at any course I've ever played at. Fun course and not too hard but a lot of character
Fun course, well taken care of
This golf course deserves 10 stars. It is easy to get convenient T times, the staff is personable and I did not feel rushed. The course is very well maintained and clean. I love the small community feel, and the great service.
Played behind two golf board players in their 30's...all they did was screw off on the boards like they were surfing. They followed each other rather than go to each ball to play. 2hr.50 minutes. for 9 holes parked inches from the greens. If used correctly and go to their own balls could improve pace of play. Need to be monitored by course marshal.
Best 9 hole course in the area. Very well kept. Can't beat this place for a great round of inexpensive golf.
Great golf course. Can always find a tee time. Just feel that the quality of the course (care of the greens, etc) doesn't equal a $40 green fee.
I used to love this place but now it is run by a bunch or young teenagers that are constantly goofing off all over the course and getting in the way and being extremely intrusive
Not bad but not good either
Great golf course.
Well taken care of, nice staff
Awesome
Nice driving range.
Pretty course, green were in bad shape. Its a shame they don't take care of this course better.
Very nice
Love the club house and the changes over the past few years. Course is in great shape. I'll continue to golf here!
Fun course, very reasonable fees. Highly recommend!
Beautiful and challenging. Huge trees make for some fun obstacles and potential lost balls. They seemed to have a new fleet of golf carts when I played there last.
You gotta use your hips Happy. Gotta use your hips.
Nice course, but water-logged all the time. Fix your drainage please
Great course. Friendly staff and well maintained. And they have the best fries.
Very good public course
Manager is very nice
I shot 38 it's always great when that happens.
Decent course. Well kept.
Kinda a cheap looking golf course but super fun!
Wow, what a gem. Greenskeepers deserve a huge pat on the back. Pure greens, nice fairways, and a price to keep you coming back.
Beautiful and challenging course. It's well-maintained and a bargain for the cost.
Great course. Low prices!
Awesome course
FH promised to refund our party, but have yet to do so. After talking with them 3 times (once in person) and giving their "word" that the money will be refunded "that day," it has yet to happen. This has been about a two month process. Update: FH finally got around to refunding our party. It took them about 3.5 months to do so.
This is our local course, its accessible and affordable which helps us to come a lot more often. The course is kept up as best a weather will permit. It's not a grand course but we love coming here.
Have you been golfing before or want to try it out? If so you are going to want to go to Fox Hollow Golf Club in American Fork, Utah. I have been golfing for about four years now, and this is one of my favorite courses to play. It is very family friendly and they make you feel welcome and exited to be there to golf! This course keeps its greens nice and always cut for you and it always looks pretty. The course is very open and gives you a lot of space to hit the golf ball unlike other courses where there so many trees and you hit the ball and can’t find it. Here it’s not like that; you can find your ball if you happen to slice or hook it. You can’t beat the food here it is really good. So, before or after you golf you need to stop in at the snack bar and grab something to eat. Do you want to go hit golf balls at night? Well, here you can cause at their driving range; they have lights so you can go late at night and work on your hitting and improving your golf shot. For you first time golfers that want to play well this is the spot because they offer lessons here with great teachers and they are very flexible with your schedule. The best is they help you from step one and make you understand the ways of golf. I know because this is where I learned to play, and they helped me out tremendously. The golf carts here are always nice and they keep them very clean. I have been to some golf courses where their golf carts are dirty and not kept nice. You won’t find that here; they make sure they are spotless so you enjoy your round of golf for the day. The one bad thing that I have is that they have some new scooter golf carts and to use them instead of a golf cart is pretty expensive, but hopefully as the newness wears off the price will go down. Overall that’s the only bad thing I have for this course. I highly recommend coming here to play golf and especially for the first-time golfers. I am definitely going to keep coming here for sure to play golf and enjoy what they have to offer! I am going to rate them 4/5 stars because they are a pretty nice course to play and have a lot to offer!
Great course lots of shade and fast greens. They need new carts with GPS tracking and cost $10 cheaper then it would be more appropriate for a 5 star rating.
Great courses...
Great value.
Shot a 2. Under, fun place.
The course is kept in excellent shape. Beautiful surroundings and views.
Beautiful course
Greens are sooo pure! Great golf course. Fun to play!
Decent course. Mature. Easier with wide fairways.
Went to the driving range. Nice setup for lots of people.
One of the more lengthy muni's around. It has some really challenging holes and a lot if trees to work the ball around. The staff are continuously improving the course over the years and it appears a really nice short game practice area is going in.
I feel generous even giving them 1 star because they really deserve 0. Absolute worst customer service. Not a single employee treated me nicely and they all gave me attitude and lip. Ruined my whole 18 hole experience as it took me 7 holes to calm down after being yelled at by a 17 year old kid with no warning or "excuse me sir" just straight up started yelling. If you're looking for a bad game of golf come here.
Course was in good shape. Very easy course and not to crowded
I really like this course. It is a "locals only" kind of place but has some great holes.
While there are a couple unique holes, the course overall is somewhat bland. Employees have been fine. The grass is not in great shape and the scenery is nothing special, but overall I am fine with the course. Still, I support public golf and am glad this course is around!
Super friendly staff. Great Golf Course!
Great course that's laid back, but still nice. Great for either the seasoned golfer or a beginner. Lost the head of an iron while at the driving range, and a greens keeper drove me around in a ball collector to look for it. Great staff!
Great course. I love the massive driving range and the two large practice putting greens.
clubhouse staff are great, snack bar is average (pricey), good range and practice facilities.
Love the course and the staff. Everything about Fox Hollow is excellent.
Love this course so much I got married here!
I always have a good experience here. Price is good and the course is always taken care of. Challenging enough for good golfers but forgiving enough for beginners.
Nice, well kept course.
Great public course. Awesome staff and facilities.
Awesome course.
Great course, sometimes gets a little crowded, but that's cause it's an awesome course!
Best greens I have played on this year.
Great course! Not the MOST well kept, but pretty good!
Great course, fun layout!
Garbage staff that treats you like animals. They’ll come out into the fairway and yell at you about stupid stuff. I recommend going else where unless being treated poorly is something you enjoy.
Course is amazing. Loved the secluded area. However stopped there. Took my young. Boys with me and was stacked in the middle of their “members” one of which made sure I knew I wad screwing up their play by taking my time and teaching my Boys. Told the front office and was told I could have a gift certificate. I understand the approach to offer something but shows the members hold the keys. Lesser courses offer WAY more especially when you know you won’t play at a pro level. If your taking younger kids consider other options
Went to hit golf balls at the range at 8:30 and their hours are posted on Google as 10 PM closing. I thought I would have plenty of time, but when I show up they did not turn the lights on and shut down at 9 PM. (Our range is the only driving range in Utah valley with stadium lights, providing you with a one of a kind after dark practice experience during any time of your day.) Please update hours and information as it is not accurate.
I am 75 years old, the course is 3 minutes from my home, and the grass is green. What more can I ask for. Life is good.
We had a horrible experience today. The website says the course closes at 10:00 pm, and I was finishing my game at around 7:40 pm. While mid-fairway on 9 the older man running the shop today started yelling at us from shop, though we were too far away to hear what he was saying. When we made it to the green he started to yell again saying to hurry up. After we finished he approached our cart and briskly startled to clean the cart while we were still trying to grab our clubs. When we asked why he was yelling he said that he was trying to close. When we tried to talk I him about this he turned his back to us and started power washing the golf cart to drown out our voices. Never going back.
Killer course with extreme difficulty! Keep your drive in the fairway and you have a better chance of scoring. RICK ROBERTS, I hope that your health improves and continues to improve. You are an amazing leader and your team knows what customer service is all about. Great job!!!!!!
Great muni golf course.
Fun course for the price. Good practice facility too.
Great golf course .. better prices. Cold beer . Very well kept
This course is super nice and it's way fun to play
Decent little course, staff was clueless though.
Course is fun. Servive is poor. Waited to be called to tee off for 10 minutes with no one in front of me. Cashier was busy chatting with friends.
Good drinks, great company
The staff was friendly, and they have a lovely landscape. I only hit the driving range this time, but next time I hope to play their course!
Great 9 hole course with 4 tee locations per hole to suitable to your game.
4 pars
The greens are coming back!
Treat you like family, always friendly
Attended a wedding here. Such a bountiful location for a wedding. I highly recommend this place for weddings.
Love the place
I love this course except for the 9th hole. It has a giant tree in the middle of the fairway
Great course and an amazing staff. The groundskeepers must work overtime to keep this beaut looking the way it does!
I love this place! The staff is really friendly and the course is well maintained. This is a pretty forgiving course for a novice golfer such myself.
We we're treaty very, very poorly by a member of the staff today .They're lucky we even came in, as it's raining quite a bit and were the only ones on the course. We teed off around 5:50 and finished our round around 8pm, so it took two of us roughly 2 hours and ten minutes to finish our round of nine holes. While on the ninth hole, a man came from the clubhouse and started shouting at us to hurry up. We finished our round and took the cart back up to the clubhouse. He told us "we've been waiting 40 minutes for you to finish. You should have finished 40 minutes ago." First, if I'm paying to play golf on your course I want to be able to have an enjoyable experience and feel that as a paying customer, I deserve to enjoy my round. Second, nobody in their right mind should expect a round of 9 holes to take an hour and thirty minutes, that's absurd. I then asked the man why he thought this was an acceptable way to treat a customer and he drove the cart into the underground gargeg where there are stored and refused to speak with us. I am very disappointed that I was treated this way and would encourage golfers to seek other places to play.
This place is special, I just love it all
The course is pretty nice. Mostly kept well but there are some areas that could be better maintained. The worst part about golfing here is they pack on so many people to play that you have to wait 5 - 10 minutes every freaking hit so that you don't hit the people in front of you. I understand that by getting more people on they're making more money but at the expense of an enjoyable good experience.
If you want a country club experience on a public golf course Fox Hollow is the place to go.
Love this course
Went there for a reception and it was beautiful
Played there for the first time as part of a charity tournament. I'm not an expert on golf courses, but Fox Hollow is a fun course to play. Seems well maintained as well.
Great public golf course for a quick game.
Great time
Played my best round of golf here, therefore it's a great course.
Good fun golf there pretty view
The course is in really good condition. The price is great and the staff is very nice. The holes are pretty close together so it's important to tell fore. It's a easier course but since it is close together so you need to have good aim. It is fun and I will be going back again soon.
Came after work to play, it was very slow, it took 3+ hours to play 9 holes. Snack shack was closed @5 on a Friday which was a bummer. Good course just some hiccups.
A well maintained public Golf Course with variety of difficulty holes. Great for seniors, kids, and experienced golfers. The clubhouse is beautiful and has a great practice range.
They mowed the grass and left giant lines of grass clippings on every hole. The greens were in a rough state :(
Great time golfing with the boy.
Great course and great staff!
The course is great, but the staff sucks and doesn’t have a clue how to manage their tee times. Also, the unapologetic, defensive attitude from the teenagers behind the counter after they screw up your tee time and ruin your round doesn’t put Fox Hollow at the top of my list when looking for tee times.
This is premier public golf course. The greens, fairways, and trees are in prime condition and it's been 90+°this summer. The staff is excellent! Hats off to Rick, John and the team!
A bunch of bs I have to pay for a new window because no one hit a golf ball well how do you play golf with out hitting a golf ball you all liers
Beautiful course in great shape. Price is right too.
I love that place, my grandpa is John R Geertsen Jr
Great course. Good price
This is a really great place for date night. $10 for more entertainment than you'd find at a lot of other more expensive places.
Great
Great place to gather and enjoy a drink and or golf at the same place.
I wish I could do 1000 stars. Awesome place to golf!!!!
Beautiful hide away golf course.
Excellent condition and the best driving range and practice greens in Utah County.
As a current (2013) member of Fox Hollow I can say the course is very nice, however they do NOT value their members and are not allowing members to schedule tee times weekdays from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and Fridays until 11:00am. Obviously these are prime times and they feel their members are not entitled to them. This policy was just brought to the members attention with a letter placed under the glass at the registration desk. When we purchased our membership for this year there was no mention of this and it certainly has not been their policy in the past. There is no mention of these restrictions anywhere on the clubs website or my membership card. My intention is to talk to as many other members as possible and determine our best course of action.
Classy course for a great price. Fun course, somewhat challenging
Great course, very polite employees.
For a small town course, very well kept and great to play!
Fox Hollow is a great golf course and is very challenging. After the renovations of the clubhouse and the sprinkling system were finished this because one of the nicer courses in Utah. It seems easy to get a tee time is you call ahead and get on their schedule. This is an older course and well established. The ground are nice and well taken care of. I feel that they could take this course to the next level if they add trees to each hole every year. It is very easy to hit your ball into the other fairway because the course is so narrow. By adding trees after 10-12 years of growth this course would feel like a hidden gem on every hole. They also need to start growing foliage in the fence on the west side of the course to hide to the road.
Classic course, good value
Relaxed environment, everyone is welcome to play and have a good time. I feel like I can be my self here. Maintenance crew does a great job, especially considering the amount of play on the course.
Favorite course for great views and good golf!
nice golf course
Not bad
Great course.
Beautiful course.
Great course!!! Great service!!!
Great service!
Best golf golf course I've been to yet
First time to this course. Pretty flat but hard any way. Very pretty, tree lined course with mountains looming high. People were friendly but many don't know you should repair your ball marks on the greens. I'll play it again, maybe in the fall when leaves are changing.
Greens are great for February.
The location is beautiful, but this course is so odd how it plays. Its my least favorite in the area.
Slowest Game ever played!!!! Fox Hallow scheduled 2 high school try outs before my tee time. It took us 5 1/2 hours to complete only 16 holes (skipped some due to being 15 min waits at each hole!!!!
Fox Hollow is a fun walkable course. It has a couple of very narrow holes and couple with nice water hazards. It's always been in nice condition when I've played here. I like #15 and #16 the most on this course.
Fun course, trees in the right places to make it challenging. The upgrades are fantastic (versus the old tri-cities course) but there's still some of the grumpy old man attitude in the pro shop. Depends when you go but some of the old guys are just not friendly at all.
One of my favorite courses.Staff is fab.Burger and fries, the best
Great course. Not too East, not too tough. Always fun to play. They keep the course in great shape.
Played a couple of weeks ago and the greens are in rough shape compared to other courses in the area. Always like playing when I'm in town.
Love it
Love it!
Nice quiet place
For a small muni it's fine. Very busy and they stack the tee times up badly.
Great location, great views, great course!
Great golf course. Relaxing atmosphere
Nice golf course and practice area..
Great course! Fun
Love Fox hollow I golf their at least once a year and have a great time. Nice staff and the course is always in great shape.
Nice course
This course is in AMAZING SHAPE!! GREAT JOB to Rick Roberts and Staff!!!
Best course around and a very friendly staff. Course can be very slow in the mornings on weekdays mid-summer due to the oldies out hobbling around.
I always feel like I am intruding when I golf here. The staff makes you feel like they are doing you a favor by letting you pay to play the course. (Unless you are friends with them then they roll out the red carpet.) The course is very rarely is good repair. The let the grass grow to long then leave the clippings bordering the fairways after they finally do mow. If you happen to miss the fairways it's like searching for a golf ball in a hay stack.
5 star fries.
The course it great
Beautiful, fun course, amazing staff!
A lot of fun to play here. The course plays well, good mix of hazards with playable fairways. I'm in no way a good let alone great folder and I have a blast on this course.
It was the best. Friendly staff and the course is in great shape.
