The ice castles were beautiful! They have tripled in size in the past few years and have so many fun slides and tunnels for kids/ adults to explore! The staff now takes a family picture in front of the castle as you enter!! Cons: overcrowded, sulfur smells from crater, not enough parking.

Not enough people to tell you where to go and it's quite pricey for the limited time you have. Good place for kids if you keep them warm! And great picture taking views! Bring extra socks and a towel!!! Also bring water or drinks because you have to walk kinda far in order to get any once you are at the attractions. Gift shop IS THE SMELLIEST PLACE EVER!!!

We hosted our charity golf event at Crater Springs. They did an excellent job of helping make the event a success. Scramble golf tournaments can get out of hand, they did an excellent job of keeping pace of play quick. Food was great and super friendly staff!

Tight fairways with beautiful wetlands as the rough. Extremely friendly staff and cart gps so you know your distance to the hole and several spots on the fairway. Back nine only has one par 5 for you drivers out there. Lots of holes play into the sun in the morning but give it at your back for the evening game. Lots of water that keeps the course cooler. Only issue the whole day was a long wait at the restaurant after.

It is a place of my life, scuba dive the crater because it is where I learned how to do it. Not much to see but everytime I get in I am reminded of being a 16 year old and getting certified. Swim in the pools every summer golf the course it is just a great memory place.

Poor experience and will not return! For a "family" run business they are not family oriented at all! Will not allow children younger than 8 on the course. Great job encouraging the next generation to enjoy the game.

Fanny's grill adjoin the shop has Great food and great atmosphere on the patio with the pond and golf course trees. Service is good. Stop by the crater hot springs for a soak inside the crater and/or play some golf. Never stayed in the lodging, but I imagine it is probably good. Golfing is priced well and the course is wonderful.

I wish I had more time we arrived late left early but I definetly will be going back next time I pass through Midaway UT I'm gonna conveniently stay a extra day the surround town looked very charming and I would like to swim in thermal which was closed before we left so I never got to swim. Maybe next time. The biscuits and gravy at the breakfast cafe was tastey

We've always enjoyed the ice castles in the winter time. The homestead is a nice place to stay, but as the property ages, sometimes the heaters in the dead of winter have a hard time keeping up with the cold weather of the rooms in the evening. You may want to bring a blanket or 2

I spent about an hour in the crater. It was a very enjoyable experience. A little pricey, but if you're trying to impress that girl you're talking to it makes a wonderful date. Life jackets are required and there is quite a bit of commotion if there are divers. Enjoyable family-run business.

I went to the Midway Ice Castles which was built on the golf course. They were beautifully lit up at night. There was also lots of different little places for my kids to crawl through and slides to side down. It was well planned out and a lot of fun. There were even fire dancers and fire eaters.

A fun golf course. Not your typical rookie course. There are a lot of hard cuts that you have to play correctly. You can't just tee up and drive it 300 yards on every hole. You have to strategize a little more. Beautiful course in a beautiful area. Definitely will be back.

I've played 15 courses in Utah this spring-summer, and this was the worst. Brown grass almost as much as green, very weedy fairways and rough, and most greens have some damage and/or dead spots. Maybe they are having problems with the sprinklers? They did have good sand in most of the bunkers, though rakes were hard to come by. Back nine was in better shape than the front, but overall still very poorly maintained. Was also not easy to navigate the course as the signage is ambiguous or absent all together-- even with the fancy GPS units, which were pretty awesome, actually. They should be embarrassed to charge how much they do for the condition the course is in. Save yourself the disappointment and go across the street to Wasatch. Was my first and last time playing at Crater Springs.

Nice lay out. Greens are in good condition and the traps have sand in them. It wouldn't hurt to have a few more rakes. The staff is very friendly. Overall 4.5 stars.

It’s beautiful, well kept, and the built in systems on their carts are awesome. But if you come, get ready to lose some balls and hit some houses, because the play is tight! Crowded by homes and trees, you need to be a straight shot or else you can expect to lose several balls here. Me being the amateur that I am, that’s what happened to me and my experience. But even the professional guys were hitting the rooftops of houses with their balls, so it’s not just me. I also had a hard time finding my way around the layout, and I even accidentally missed two holes without even realizing!

The old dude who mows the green is so rude and unprofessional. He was screaming at some lady who had her dog on the path. He was a few hundred yards from her and operating the mower. It was obvious the lady could not hear him. It was loud and as well as the distance he was from her. There were several of us golfing, he was close to us. He got nasty with her. Drove over to where she was and started screaming obscenities at her. He was an A 1 jerk! If he had worked for me. He would have been let go on the spot! I felt embarrassed for him for acting so mean & nasty to the lady. She was a class act however, she laughed and told him to have a nice day, turned and walked away.

The course is improving. I was there last year and there was too much homebuilding around the fairways. Those home are completed now. The carts are old and have this big screen coming down in the front. It's impossible for a tall player not to keep hitting his head on it getting into the cart ; ( The course is well designed and fun to play. Used the pga book to get the deal. It's expensive with out it.

Solid course in good shape with some good variety on the holes. Definitely worth playing at least once a year if your local. Tough to compete with Wasatch and Soldier Hollow in the same area, prefer those over this one, but enjoyed this course. Staff was nice and helpful.

Fun course, but the greens can be very tricky. Re-think the driver on a few holes, as you might be better off with a long iron. If you tend to hit a little off, you might want to take some extra balls. The fairways tilt quite a bit, especially on the front 9-holes.
