Beautiful course! I participated in a Celebrity Golf Tournament and had an incredible golfing experience! The atmosphere is so serene and there was a peaceful breeze that blew periodically that was pleasantly therapeutic. Great Clubhouse & Pro Shop excellent food & service!
Really good meeting place
Great club, great experience!
Some fun elevation changes and good number of protected green make this a challenging and enjoyable course. Went beginning of April so everything was still dormant, but I imagine this course is really something when everything perks up. The VIP package is a memorable experience, with great food and friendly service, this course is truly deserving of the 5 stars. Would recommend and would definitely go back!
It rained three hours before and the course drained so well, our feet never got wet. It is a great course with a great staff.
I would just like to give a big thank you to Nick Carlson. I had a refund dispute with Coybows Golf Club for over a month. Nick was outstanding in providing exellent customer service for me. He bent over backwards trying to figure out where the refund got held up. He was kind, accomodating and always helpful. Not only did I enjoy my round of golf at a great venue. I had an excellent experience when things didnt work out exactly as planned... Once again Thank you Nick. You deserve a raise.
Great place. Course is immaculate. Must play
The only thing that stopped me from giving this place 5 stars is because I'm a true die hard NY Giants fan and its just principle. Everything about this course is top notch. From start to finish the staff was attentive. The course was in great shape, the free food with the green fees is a nice touch, and the clubhouse has some great Cowboy gear. This should be a course you should play in Dallas if you like golf and football.
This place is amazing. Great views and the event rooms are large. Staff was very pleasant.
Decided to play with my closest family and friends for my birthday today. I was a bit skeptical of the $189 per round and see if it's truly worth it. But I'm a big fan of the Cowboys and I've heard some great things about it, so decided to give it a shot. Course: The course has some nice layouts and water shots are pretty, but the condition of the fairways and tee boxes were average. Greens were fast and well kept and bunkers had quality sand in them. I think they should put more love into the fairways and tee box areas. Carts: The carts are good quality with the touch screen GPS. Good move by management. Cart Girl Service: No complaints here. Good service and rolled around frequently. In 100 degree weather you need to see them more. Food: This is where there can be lots of improvement. I'm not sure if the service mediocre because it's free but it felt like that was one of the issues. We ate before our round and after our round and the best dish was the breakfast sandwich and that's because it was hot and fresh. Every other plate was cold, felt like it's been sitting out and poorly put together. I never got a refill and we were there for over an hour. I was never asked if I wanted more. We still tipped out of courtesy but major improvements are needed. Pace of Play: Started off pretty slow. Front nine was 2.5 hours. Had five guys in front of us and slowed us down. I guess they allow large groups. Eventually it got faster but it was because those guys left after 14 holes. I've paid more elsewhere then what I paid here to play on a "high quality" course before and I have to rank this course lower in comparison. Improve your food quality and service in the clubhouse/grill and be more attentive on the course pace. Put some Marshalls out there to speed it up. Give your fairways some loving and I think it will be worth that value. Management, if you read this and have more questions, email/call me. You have my number in your system.
Awesome course, that sand trap on 9 was brutal fun. But hey what a great place to play. Definitely adding to my regular rotation when I am in town.
Really great experience if you are a golfer and are in Dallas. Great value.
I was here for a wedding. Whereas I am sure this is a fantastic golf course and facility. I am.also sure it is great for most events. But for (outdoor) weddings this is not the place you want to have yours. Again the facilities are nicy, the staff was great, the location is great. However, you must be aware that you are in the flight path for DFW airport. Approximately one third of the ceremony we could not hear. It was quite saddening.
Beautiful wedding venue and comfortable atmosphere. Friendly and efficient staff as well. Buffet fare was above typical buffet fare especially the tenderloin medallions.
Nice course condition.
Awesome gold course!
The best public golf course in DFW, always love the shack at the 7th hole
The course is flawless.. one of my favorite in the DFW!!
Friends and I had a great time! Very well kept. Staff was friendly. Food was exceptionally good. I really liked the Sideline Grill after holes 7 and 11. We’re already planning our next outing there!
Nice place but a little bit too expensive for me.
Great atmosphere. Great food. We had a great time at the Capitol One Spark Business golf outing!
Great course with awesome views.
Great experience. Beautiful course.
This gold club has a beautiful course. The golf carts have GPS on them...??!?!? Really helpful. We brought air cannons out for the golfers to use at a golf tournament. Fun!
A first class facility for Golf food and drink.
We manicured greens and challenging course. Staff available at every turn. Highly recommend everyone play at least once. Great Course.
Stopped for lunch.
Very nice atmosphere and food was great
Great place for a meeting and food was really good!
Very nice resturaunt and bar with great facilities. Would like to enjoy course as well, maybe next time.
Great course! Excellent food and service. Pricey, but worth it.
Nice course. Very nice staff and accommodating service. I would come here again. They have a shower in the women's restroom, so you can get ready after a round. Pro shop has many one of a kind items you don't find anywhere else.
Top notch! I was tempted to give it 4-stars because we couldn't find a breeze on the course during our 90+ degree day... BUT.... Good golly miss molly! Them Cowboys Golf Club employees are some of the coolest people on earth! From the staff in the Ring Of Honor Kitchen and Bar, to the Marshall's on the course. This place is amazing! And the course itself demands that you bring your A-Game! Come on, now! We had a great time today during the Labor Day Scramble and will be back for another. I wish I could afford to play it more. Great job CGC! See y'all next time!
Having played at Cowboys before my expectations were high. I was disappointed to find that the greens had been aerated and still a bit of a mess. I was also disappointed to find out that by playing at twilight I would get the short end of the deal by not getting to eat at the restaurant before or after my round. Something not posted on the website. Although the round was discounted due to twilight, the condition of the greens and the missed meal did not balance out. The cart girl only came by once late on the front nine and was sorely missed on the back. I will go back, but won't make the mistake of expecting a deal or not calling to get course conditions first.
Course in great shape and great service
Excellent fairways, beautiful Greens, and Fantastic food!!! Loved it!
Love this course! The one price for golf and food is a great deal when you can get it.
Very nice course. Tough but fair. Superb service.
Every hole is in great shape. The course is really easy to score low on because of that. Had a great time. The hole 9 outdoor restaurant and bar is really cool too!
Always a great day of golf! Perfect weather today!
Shocked at the good reviews I’m seeing. My wife and I were visiting from Florida played on 4/22/19, was a birthday gift. Positives: 1) Restaurant/bar area, outside lounge area 2) Driving range I guess 3) Midway snack bar 4) Course make up/look Negatives: 1) No starter, everyone just went when they wanted. Had a group of SEVEN in front of us, absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! 2) GPS only worked some of the time 3) Conditions of the course, fairways BAD, greens HORRIBLE!!! Lake Park in Lewisville takes better care. Pics posted was pretty common 4) At one point we were on the green and some random guy (assuming an employee) pulls up talking on his phone, proceeds to walk towards the green. My wife asks “may we help you?”, he shakes his head no and continues to talk on his phone. WTH???? Bizarre 5) My wife is preparing to tee off and the young lady working at the mid way bar comes flying by in a golf cart. Doesn’t stop, wait or even acknowledge she’s teeing off. Again WTH??? Between the condition of the course and lack of professionalism it’s ABSURD paying those kinds of green fees. If I was Jerry Jones I would be embarrassed to take a VIP to this course. Disappointed to say the least
We hosted a corporate event today at Cowboys Golf. What a great venue!! The location and service was perfect and our guests loved the food! Great job to Robyn and her team.
Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Attended a business dinner and would recommend it to anyone.
Nice golf course. Your round includes, golf, cart, range balls all the food and non alcoholic drinks you want. Course was in good shape. Some risk reward holes. All the food I had was very tasty. It's expensive, check the tee time page in July and August. When it's too hot, prices sometimes get lower. Even if not a cowboys fan, go play it, wear YOUR team colors, I did
Awesome place to see cowboy history and place a good round
I rode along with my boyfriend who loved the course. The amenities are excellent. They keep you stocked with cold water and are always checking to make sure you are doing ok. Great staff and very well kept course. I docked 1 star because the airplanes flying over you every few minutes took away from the peaceful experience, but the course is right next to one of the busiest airports in the country. Also, food is very good in the clubhouse. We ordered a couple small bites to go before tee time. When we finished up, we ordered a sit down meal. I ordered a shrimp salad and noticed one of my shrimp was not cooked fully which made me lose my appetite. But you really do get alot for your money.
Had our company Christmas party. Was a blast. Very nice atmosphere and staff.
This course is usually always in perfect condition but greens are not great right now
Phenomenal. Holes are breathe taking. Pace of play is great. Cart girl comes by every 2 holes it seems. Staff is fantastic. Better than almost all the private courses in the area. Worth the price of admission.
Great friendly staff. Very nice course. Unique ambiance. A little pricy...
Food, course, and service are all first class!
Use to be a great place for a great round of golf but now like most courses managed by Arcis they are getting greedy. Went from 10 min tee times to 7 to 8 min tee times. So you literally wait on EVERY SHOT, takes the fun out of the course and for the price this shouldnt be the case. I use to play here 10-15 times a year and recommend it to everyone now I am doing the opposite. It's just an over priced muni with slow play at this point!! Way to f it up Arcis!!
Great venue with amazing food and wide drink selections.
Not a Cowboys fan but found this to be very nice. Good golf course, above average food and excellent service in the restaurant. A little pricey but golf and all day food makes it more reasonable.
Great condition and a spectacular journey through a natural property. A wonderful matrix of challenges, hole after hole.
It is a wonderful spot to play. I have played there a number of times and every si gle time I am blown away! The resturant, beverage cart & and Grill on the turn was all delicious!
Always look forward to playing here. Before-meal, on-course food, and after-meal included. Came back and ate the BLT. It had fried eggs in it, which made it extra delicious. Appetizer Shrimp and wings are must-haves.
Beautiful grounds with good service. Had a great time playing out here.
Beautiful course and green
overrated. course was packed, several slow groups on the course that wouldn't allow us to play through. "unlimited on-course food and beverage" - nice except that we only saw the beverage cart once in the 18 hole round.
The service was above and beyond, the staff was completely first class.
Best bet is to skip the high rates and book later in the afternoon. Free (and good) food and drink throughout your round is awesome. You’re near an airport, so expect ~100 planes to fly overhead in an average round. They failed to mention that all the sand traps were undergoing renovation when we were playing. Tee boxes were a little beat up. Greens were decent.
The cheddar brats at the turn are great.
World class establishment. The pro shop is diverse, the food is terrific and the staff are top notch. The course is meticulously maintained, with plenty of challenges throughout for every skill level. The prices are fair considering the convenience and quality of service and food/drinks. I'm a new fan and will definitely be back!
Top notch management. After renovation and upgrades this is one of the nicest clubs in Northeast Tarrant County.
Top notch golf experience.
I was here for a charity golf outing and the food was amazing. Seriously good quality and presentation.
We had my daughter's softball banquet there and everyone agreed that this was the best banquet ever! We will definitely return.
Always a pleasure
Work before work.
Great golf course. Join Idealgolfer and wait for the special discount. You can't beat an all inclusive package for $89.00. The food is great and the ⛳ is excellent.
Simply loved playing on this course. The staff in the Pro Shop is very helpful. The Clubhouse is very nice. I hired the Golf set and the cart. Made my Tee time n off I went. Hats off to the course designer, the curator n the grounds men for maintaining such an immaculate course. It was a reasonably hot afternoon, but the cold water in the icebox on the cart helped keep me cool, though the lovely breeze also helped. Food n non-alcoholic drinks on the course were part of the cart hire.
The food was great, just a bit salty. Service was okay, and there were flies everywhere inside the restaurant. The golf course was well taken care of, with nice greens, fairways, and a lot of up and down which I liked.
Great staff an amenities! Food is also great!
We had a baby shower here - staff was great, food was good- Thanks Randy for all your help!
Greens and t boxes were in a little disrepair. Otherwise course and staff were very good.
I have been a member of this club for two years. Services have degraded. The club frequently host events which, the club then closes the course, and practice area to the members. The club’s website calendar did not reflect any events, and rarely does. The course plays slow. It is not managed well, and lacks marshall’s to encourage players to keep a reasonable pace of play. Consequently, when teeing off the number one hole a player should be prepared for a five hour, even a six hour round. The food is nothing special. I can live with that. I go to play golf, not to eat fine food. It is time to re-evaluate and look for other options.
Amazing course, great food. Love the setup of being able to go eat and drink before and after included in the cost, and warm up on the range before going out to play.
It's a good golf course, good food and drinks.. A fun experience for people to get the most of there days..
Had a awesome time
Better than I expected. Course starts out fun and easy, turns challenging and finishes up nicely
We fly down every year to play this course as its one of our favorites. The value is pretty good since the pin gives you all the food and non-alcoholic drinks you want. The course is always in great condition and provides us guys a challenging round of golf.
Nice course very well kept. Friendly staff. An amazing day and a great course. Worth every penny!
One of the best courses I've ever played at. It's definitely worth the experience if you love golf.
Awesome place to play and eat, excellent service all around
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I appreciate all of the help.
Great course. The food in the clubhouse is delicious!
Top notch place to golf. Very challenging course with pretty landscapes and lots of wildlife.
Fantastic time had by all! Can't wait to do it again.
Course was in great shape. Staff was friendly and had no problem with pace of play. I think $185 is a little steep but add in all the food and you can eat and non-alcoholic drinks and it might be worth it. The food was really good too. They do have deals where it's $99 that's worth it. I had no complaints and I'll probably go back.
Great hospitality but the course was in rough shape.
Golfed in April (which is crazy Texas weather time) but we lucked out with 40 degree morning and 50 degree days. Course was in very good condition. Staff was very friendly.
Super fun course, cool amenities. Greens are in a little rough shape, but hopefully, they bounce back soon enough.
Always a good time
We had our club’s annual golf outing here in the spring after quite a bit of rainfall - unfortunately, the condition of the course is not what it has been over the years. The prestige of the property is fading, and they have no one rooting for them harder to get it back than me - especially to justify the pricetag. Best of luck to these guys returning the course to the shape it’s been perennially since opening.
This is a great place to play golf, enjoy great food and relax by the fireplace. The pictures and trophies are amazing! Some of the nicest people you can meet!
Takes forever to get any foof
Great time. Staff was extremely accommodating.
Tough course, tight, lots of sand, greens in some work, all in all a fun track. Hit straight or your in trouble.
Oh my What a great place They treat you like Royalty Food was awesome Course is very well maintained
Great place to play
You never know who you will see in the clubhouse, always a former cowboy somewhere
Resort style golf course, so it automatically won my heart with the unlimited snacks. Rated 5 stars for the golf course, very open fairways and each hole is unique, greens are always in decent shape. Great track
If you play golf, you HAVE to play!
This golf course is pricey but you get what you pay for! We are making it a tradition to visit once a year with friends. I definitely recommend this well kept course. #COWBOYGOLFCLUB
Never dreamed this place existed, great dining and the Tom Landry display was great to view
Played here for a tournament, great course. Lots of elevations and tree coverage makes for a shaded drive through while you play.
oh my gosh we looooove coming here. It's not only beautiful. The people are great ( except 1 waitress) she
It's maintained like a private Country Club
Hosted a charity golf tournament here last week and everything was perfect! The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The food was great, and the course was in amazing shape! I will definitely be bringing my business back here. Megan, Brei, Julio, and especially Nick were all very hospitable and kind towards me, my players, and support staff. Thank you all again for the great event!
Great all inclusive experience, beautiful golf course
Great place to golf, even better for hosting charity events!
Very pricey for the condition of the course.
Group luncheon. Nice space, great price, good service. Food was pretty good.
Very upscale club and a great place to spend time
Nice Staff and lovely small place to have an event -bar is really nice as well as the outdoor area with fireplace. Kids are welcome too.
Played in a scramble after a large rain so it was very wet. Layout was very different and back tees playable by most golfers. High price but worth at least one visit.
Awesome course, super fun to play. No starter at the first tee on the Fri before Easter made for a super slow round though.
Excellent all around.
I had a great day. The course and staff were first rate. The greens we're surprisingly fast. A definite course to play again.
Only one cart person for a large tournament was very disappointing for what we paid. Hot and humid and would ha e been happy to by water as they don't have water available on the course. Do t think Jerry would have been happy with the quality.
Had a very nice company event there. Excellent food and a very good staff of people.
The course, faculty, facility and amenities were amazing, will definitely be coming back
Great service. Great course. Great experience
Went for a cousin's quincé. Beautiful place, serene atmosphere. The staff was very attentive. A must see for any die hard Cowboy fans. The bathrooms were clean and felt more than just a place to relieve yourself. Spent more time outside and enjoyed the weather and the little waterfall just as much as the interior even despite the locations close proximity to DFW.
Golf course in heat condition. Slow play. Restaurant servers need improved skills. Love the format.
Well kept golf course. Holes are on the Short side.
I played here on Labor Day in a 2-person scramble with my wife and some friends. The weather looked iffy and before the round, we went to purchase some rain gear for my wife as she accidentally left hers behind... Definitely our oversite, but we were ready to purchase what she needed and move on. They did not have one single piece for men or for women! Not one!... Not a good sign! Note - I play 75-100 rounds every year and like to try new courses in my native Florida and around the country, so this wasn't my first time playing in the rain. With the proper gear, a reliable cart, and strategically placed shelters, it's not a big deal. We had prepaid the round several months ago and were looking forward to playing at "Jerry's Course" as a team, and so we decided to brave the elements and play. As I got to the golf cart, I noticed that there was not a back cover to protect our clubs from potential rain which got me concerned, but the rain had stopped and so we chose to play. FYI - The course is right under the DFW flight path, so be prepared to have planes either taking off or landing every few minutes. A distraction to be sure. Overall, the course itself is very nice, but a little boring as far as "scenic," "majestic" or beautiful views". A few holes have interesting elevation drops, there are some which have undulating fairways, and there are a few challenging holes that required some lay-up vs go-for-it choices, and it was enjoyable UNTIL the skies opened up! We tried to play on, but ended up completely soaking wet as the lack of shelters and lack of rain cover on the cart forced our hand and we had to abandon the round after 16 holes. We were not alone as we saw a lot of others racing to find the clubhouse with makeshift towels or umbrellas covering themselves and their golf-clubs. Not a pretty site! Note - There were also a limited amount of rest rooms facilities (7 & 11), so plan accordingly... We started on 9, and once we passed the facility on 11, we never saw another facility until potentially the clubhouse after 18, but unfortunately - it is not especially close to 18 green... sigh... The staff was very nice and accommodating , but even without having any rain gear in the pro shop - there was also a disappointing lack of general inventory overall. What was available had prices that seemed to be especially jacked-up, which we sort of expected, but were bummed that it was proven true. Though we enjoyed our time together, we walked away generally disappointed as we had very high expectations and were very surprised at the lack of attention to detail. If it didn't have the cache of being the Cowboys Golf Club - I would rate this course as a "B ". A medium-to medium-high level municipal course that is overly-priced and would not rise to any extra-special status. If i lived nearby, it would not be in my normal rotation of courses to play, but on a sunny day i would try it again. Stay away if there is even a hint of rain and be prepared to pay extra for your (limited) amount of Cowboys memorabilia. FOLLOW-UP: As a follow-up to my previous post. I received a very nice call from Nick - one of the Pros/Managers from the golf course. He was very generous and genuine during our conversation, and I feel like he really cared about my feedback and comments. He even asked my opinion about some things that I did not mention, and i felt like he really heard me and cared about what I had to say. As a result, I'm not going to change my comments above, as I feel that they are accurate, but I would like to add that I will definitely come back and play this course in the future. When a course is run by people like Nick and his staff, it's worth the benefit of the doubt. I wish the overall experience had been better, but Nick's call was a welcome surprise and much appreciated.
Beautiful course. Greens are in great shape. The food as part of the coupon was excellent.
Good golf club
Beautiful course, great food options
