Baker Crossing has a new fantastic practice area for the short game scoring shots where you can perfect shots from sand or chip and pitch shots up to 110 yards and a practice putting green with realistic putts. This is a great improvement to the golf course

Nice golf course. Usually in good condition. Very open with not many trees so exposed to the wind. Not always punished by wayward tee shots but there are holes with water hazards.

Pretty forgiving course but there are some hidden water hazards. Only complaint is there never seems to be a beverage cart on the course and I golf there 5 times a summer or more on weekends.

Teach the golfers to stay out of the home owners yards in the golf carts would be nice. God bless America. The owner or management put the signs out on the golf course explaining to the golfers to stay out of the home owners yards. Thank you. Just hope they can read. Much appreciated and needed.

This is a very nice golf course. Both the front and back 9 are good for both beginners and accomplished golfers. There’s a driving range and a putting green for practice. The clubhouse has a concessions area, a virtual golf station, and a shop if you need some last minute gloves, hats, balls, etc. They have both push carts and driving carts, and a concessions cart driving around the course. It is a great life course.

Very nice course! The staff were helpful and kept it clean! I enjoyed how they have a drink cart driving around! It serves non alcohol beverages and alcohol beverages.

Pros: Great clubhouse, nice workout area, good practice green and driving range. Very well kept and challenging course that is fun to play especially with all the work that has been done here the past couple of years! Can get very busy and tough to get a tee time depending on the time of year. (This sounds like a potential "con", rather than a "pro", but is a testament to the great course and staff.) Con: Out on the edge of town and not a lot of cover so tends to be more vulnerable to the South Dakota wind than many other local courses. If it is a really windy day, a tee time elsewhere might be more preferred.

I golf Baker's Crossing all the time the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and I love the golf course for the simple fact that I can select a set of tees that suits my level of play and it makes the game a lot more enjoyable... I don't have any trouble at all getting on the golf course as a single even during the busy weekends and holidays.. once again the staff is willing to bend over backwards to accommodate anybody that wants to play they do a great job Course Maintenance is excellent as well
