Nice course. To bad they are closing in order to build more houses & condos. Course stays wet longer after rain than other courses. They do not offer discount for residents. Slightly over priced.

Fun layout, good course conditions, greens are great. Starter needs a retrain. Took me an hour plus to play the last 3 holes. Starter was sending new groups off 10 when the morning group off 1 was making the turn. Grueling last 3 holes.

Our group of 12 thoroughly enjoyed our round on 9/28. Course was in GREAT shape. Everyone of us were blown away by the friendliness of the entire staff. Starting with the fellow loading our carts, to the ranger, and cart lady on the course. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Sorry to hear the course may be closing soon.

Had a tee times of 12:45 and 12:55 on Saturday, May 18 for 7 guys on a on bachelor party weekend. Due to a long night before we're running a little late. Called ahead and they were very accommodating to our predicament. There were a lot of first time golfers in the group so they started us on 10 to give us a cushion. Course is VERY relaxed about dress code. One guy had a tank top on. Course conditions were very good. Seems to be a very dry season so far for the area so there wasn't so much as turf being taken when shooting. Greens were very well kept and although the fairways were drier than I'm used to it actually helped my iron game. Since I was teaching more than competing we ended up playing better ball. Still took 6 hours to get through due to the length of the course and the obstacles. There is a ton of water on this course. Makes it very interesting if you don't know distances to lay up. There are also a lot of holes with houses very close. Definitely have a ton of defensive measures against errant shots but it's unnerving to those just beginning. Context is key here because I'm used to a couple wide open courses in southeastern pa. But I definitely sliced one into the middle of a neighborhood on the one hole. All in all for 60 dollars(50 if one hour later) on a weekend golf course in myrtle Beach who can complain?!

Pro was totally unprofessional quoted price for 9 holes twice on the phone attempted to overcharge me by over $20 then before I hit my second shot on the 10th hole where all groups were teeing off from sent a ranger out to move us to the first only because my girlfriend was a beginner and just trying to learn the game. This so called pro should not be working for Founders Group.

Course was in excellent shape. It is a challenging course, but fair, and enjoyable for all skill levels. There is a lot of water, but you should be able to avoid it with good, basic shots. I really enjoyed playing this course. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is definitely one of the prettiest Park setting courses in this area. Gets very crowded during the season so you know it is a great course lots of people choose it. We live in the area and try to play here at least once a month

My grandfather and I played here in early June 2018. We only played 9, but the 9 that we did play was great! I believe we played the back, and every hole was intriguing and challenging. The course was in great shape (except the greens were being repaired due to the bad winter, totally understandable). Next time, we will play all 18.

Just know that Indian Wells has very little drainage, so if there is any rain be aware that you will be standing in water...cart path only

Worst experience from start to finish. Every staff member ( except drink cart member) was rude and talked down to my group for no reason. I will never play here again......and fyi don't take a cooler they will freak out if they see it on your cart....even if there is only water in it.

Course was nice but the rangers on the course were rude and very ignorant about the pace of play. We had a foursome behind us who were not even on the tee box when we were in the process of putting out on the green. The ranger tells us that there are 2 empty holes in front of us like we are holding up the entire course when the group behind us were not even keeping up. Needless to say that I have played my last round at this place. Its kinda like dating a pretty girl who has a horrible attitude.

The course wasn't in that bad of shape considering they just had 2-3 weeks of rain. A couple of puddles in sand traps and wet spots in fairways, you could tell they haven't been able to cut much. I give that a break but being rushed to tee off 10 mins before your tee time was frustrating. You get there 45 mins before hand to warm up and you don't get to hit your full bag bc there's a group coming off 18 bc they double stack the morning. That's beach golf, you'll never play at your own pace.

Nice facility in good shape and a value for the dollar. Staff starting at bag drop are unfriendly and rude in there lack of service and courtesy. 4 times played and never a hello, hows your round, have a nice day, etc. inside keeps pace and performs there job with the same lack of ambition, friendliness and hospitality that I regularly see at courses. Come on guys if golf is your profession act like you want to be there.

As stated in other reviews, the cart paths are beyond repair. Water comes into play almost too much. Not that it matters, but Hole 1 should be the #1 handicap. It borderlines on unfair due to the long iron off the tee, then the VERY narrow landing area of the second shot. There are some less desirable holes in the middle of the first nine, but the layout of the back is fantastic. I thought the course was tricked up with the layout.

Great course. Fun and challenging. Some really long par 4s. The course was well maintained and the greens were as good as you can expect. My Dad and I really enjoyed the round. If we played more golf in Mrytle Beach we would definitely return but we like to try different courses.

Dec 14 2017 recommend playing as a good value course. Greens were very good. Otherwise the course (ignore cart paths) was in good shape. I'm a sr who played off the whites-perfect length for me. Didn't find it a target course as others have noted.

Fair condition, super wet and spongy. Water cooler has mold in spiggot, and starter let his buddies tee first even when they didn't have first tee time.

Great course. Water along 14 of the holes made the course challenging and so much fun. You have to play aggressive on some holes and a lil more passive on others to navigate the water hazards. The cart paths need a lil love but what I wanted more was good golf more than a smooth cart ride and this course lived up to it. I’d recommend this to low handicap players and weekend amateur alike. Children getting into the game will love this place as well.

Been coming to Myrtle for 10+ years. Love the course, great layout, conditions excellent. But only gave it 3 stars because the guys working the bag drop and the starter were the worst I have ever been around.

Great fairways and challenging layout however many greens had disease on them. Air rated 10 days ago but still putted descent. The grill and cart girl prices were better than most too. Friendly staff minus the guy cleaning the driving range. Worth playing.

This was a Day Trip for myself and my husband. We ate here in October 2017 and it was great so we returned today. Once again it was beyond our expectations!! He had the Reuben again because it was the BEST ever last time. I had the Gyro this time. Once again the BEST Reuben ever and my Gyro was AWSOM!! We both had a cup of the jalapeno tomatoe crab soup...OMG it was incredible. Wonderful Day Trip Date with my husband.

First things first, Bobby at the pro shop was amazing and the course is nice but the cart attendant ruined my experience before I teed off. Has zero tact when dealing with customers. Please don’t reprimand him but give him training. It doesn’t seem intentional but that he isn’t aware. For $54, I expect premium experience.

Played here in March 2015, for five days, 36 holes each day in buggies with Nyack college. Staff were really friendly, from starters to dinning area. Very keen to engage with the lads who were on spring break training. Wonderful venue for shot makers and plenty of risk and reward holes with plenty of water in play. Very peaceful place and well spaced out. We started the week in wet conditions with buggy restrictions but staff worked hard to get the course fully open. Despite the wet, greens are classy. Good practice facilities and all in easy location to the clubhouse. Hope to be going back in March 2016 with Nyack and looking forward to seeing the turtles hopefully bathing in warm sunshine. Easy to drive past on the main road as there are so many courses but this one really is worth a visit.
