Great to see Furman having a huge tournament this weekend. Since I have played there before and have been paired with strangers, because head pro said we are public. Saddens me that driving range was closed to the public for the tournament. Look forward to Furman catching up to the other course's like Willow Creek, River Falls and the Preserve.

Well maintained. Tough greens. Forgiving fairways. All around good time.

Kent Ashby

This is one of the best golf courses in Greenville in my opinion. Especially for the money. It's a fun layout and typically in great shape. The scenery is a nice plus.

Dick Nichols

This is what a great golf course looks like. Very walkable with tees and greens close together. Fairways were excellent, but the greens were outstanding. Fast firm and true. If you are looking for glitz, try somewhere else. If you like Pinehurst, this is your golf course. I know Donald Ross didn't design it, but he could have.

Great course and walkable! I like the redesign.

Wide fairways, hills that block the flag, and challenging pin placement. Fun course. Great shape for mid-March. Don’t let the $25 green fee fool you. They want $17 more for a cart. I decided to walk which isn’t bad but certainly makes you appreciate the pros who do it 4 times a week.

Old course. Greens not healed from recent aeration. Full price as far as I can see.Pointed out the only guy on the putting green as someone to do the round with. Introduced myself. After his confusion wore off, he said he was in a tournament and maybe it was the guy driving down the fairway. Caught the guy a few holes down. No interest. Told me to play through. Not worth any hard earned golf dollars.

3 stars is is all I can give this golf course. From a layout and maintenance perspective it's one of the best courses in town, but getting a cart at Furman is a complete waste of money. I've never played here where I didn't get stuck behind people walking the course who refuse to let you play through. That lack of etiquette is the only reason I'm not a member or play the course more often.

Jason Pritchard

Nice course fair and good condition. The grill has friendly people and good food.
