You will see all the opinions of real people like you who are consuming the services and products of Cobblestone Park Golf Club (Golf) in the area close to South Carolina.
At present the business gets a rating of 4.6 over 5 and the rating was based on 277 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is practically the best, and it's based on a high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the assessment is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they are satisfied with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to give feddbacks when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Golf is included in the category of Golf club.
The course is in great condition! The waiting staff is attentive and friendly.
I've hosted a few of my company parties at the clubhouse. Even with 50-80 in attendance, the event staff always did an excellent job of creating a memorable experience for my employees and guest. Even though the events were excellent, I didn't feel we were receiving a good value on membership as a whole so we canceled it. This was in, part due to the distance we lived from Cobblestone. Overall, I would recommend this club to anyone looking for an event venue in the Columbia area.
Best course in the Columbia area, in my opinion. 27 holes. Course it's generally always in great shape. Nicely cut fairways. Greens roll very well and unless it's super dry they hold very nicely too. I highly recommend golfing here.
A bit pricey on the weekends (recommend week day after 1) but the course and layout are fantastic. Staff is very polite and helpful.
Wonderfully helpful staff, superb practice facilities, and the best greens I've ever played on. They were absolutely perfect, no bumps, no patches, and billiard table smooth.
By far my favorite course around Columbia. Nice gated community and the greens roll so well! Also love the three 9 holes and each one has a great layout!
Awesome
Went to a wedding just beautiful
Let me start by saying this review is about the customer service and not the course. This was one of my favorite courses in the Columbia area but I will never be back after my recent experience. I booked a tee time on golfnow with the expectation that I would get a refund if the course closed due to weather... This was March 1 2019. Anyone in this area knows we've had absurd amounts of rain over the last several months. This week was no different, and it rained (steady rain, bordering on heavy rain) from 4 am until around 2 in the afternoon on my scheduled date. My tee time was 1240 and it was still pouring at this time... I called the course at noon and was told that the course was "soupy" and they would let people out later in the afternoon if it stopped raining (but not at my tee time). I was told to call golfnow for a refund. I did that this morning, March 4th, and was refused a refund after they called Cobblestone and the course said they let people out late afternoon on March 1 well AFTER my scheduled tee time when it was still in a down pour. Cobblestone refused to approve the refund, so I paid money for a round of golf I never played and couldn't have even if I wanted to. I guess they really needed my money, but it's sad that I will never again go back to play this course because they refused a refund on a day when they know the course was unplayable. I dont have time to wait at a soupy golf course hoping that I may be able to play IF the rain stops. Horrible service, and they lost a repeat customer who has been playing this course since college.
We had our 2017 Christmas party here. The clubhouse was very lovely, and the food was excellent! I had recommend this club for anyone that an upcoming event and needs a venue.
Great course. Challenging. Course is well maintained.
This course is not for amateurs and I will not be returning until I improve tremendously. If you are a beginner golfer, you will be frustrated with the difficulty of approaching the greens without losing your ball due to endless surrounding sand traps and water hazards on virtually every hole. I am still rating 5 stars because this is a beautiful and well maintained course with a fantastic clubhouse but there are much easier courses around here.
Great golf course
Great, course was in great shape.
Solid course in great shape.
It was in excellent condition
A1 Golf course in blythewood. What a hidden gem this place is.
Lovely spot, friendly staff and beautiful golf course. My only complaint is the food. It could be better. It's just okay.
Beautiful place and the food was delicious the service was great
Fantastic golf course and nice restaurant with a spectacular view.
Challenging course, always in great shape. This course frustrates me to no end, but when I play other courses, I find my game has improved. Staff, facilities, and all are great.
Beautiful golf course and lovely clubhouse!
It's so green and silent and a paradise for golfers
Amazing place and clean
Southern Hospitality! From the moment I arrived, I knew it was going to be a great round. The clubhouse is magnificent! I was greeted with a smile from every employee I crossed paths with. I was able to play the Garnet and Black 9 hole courses. I even paired up with a member for the whole 18 holes. I'm never one to ask to tag along...but I'm glad I did. He knew the course very well and we had a blast! It was by sheer luck I played this course. I'm very, very happy with my experience! Highly recommend! ps..the greens are fast!
Played this course today and was not happy with the staff. Tee time was at 12:40 and I arrived at 12 with plans to hit the driven range and putting green. The tee box announcer rushed us off the driving range at 12:20 pushes us to go ahead and start and when I gather my things I had the driven range ball bag in my hand and didn’t see a place to leave it so just threw in the bottom open portion of my bag to give back to the club house on the turn. The tea announcer assume I was trying to steal it and I told him I just didn’t wanna leave it on the ground. Got to the first box and the club manager pulled up on me and wanted to discuss the matter further which put me in a bad mood for the rest the day. I felt my groupe was treated like we didn’t belong on the course. Nothing like playing a new course in a bad mood from the get go. Will not be returning.
Nice course. Well kept.
The staff and management treat the golfers great, but if you don’t look like they think you should it’s a different ballgame. Ethnic people or non status quo are not welcome and management will let you know real quick with a welcoming rude behavior. The sad part is I live here and pay them to treat me rude. This has to change, and it starts with the management!!!
Beautiful layout and great conditions, reasonable rates and fun to play. However, they need to have a marshal/ranger to monitor pace of play, especially during busy times like Sunday afternoons. We got stuck behind a fivesome - yes, five people playing in the same group - on our 7th hole and our pace for the round dropped to an absolute crawl. And to make it worse, some in the fivesome were hacks, plus they never had the courtesy to wave us up. We were lucky to have finished before it got dark!
Best course in the area!
Great greens
I made the trip from Charleston to play Cobblestone on the recommendation of several fellow golfers, I am so glad I did. My brother and I started on the driving range. The range is very well manicured, as is the putting green. Our "track" today was Garnet to Black. The fairways are firm and roll-out very well, so if you're not a terribly long hitter you will love it here. Catch a downward slope on your drive, and you'll have hit it about 300 yards. Yes, the fairways are FIRM. So if you find yourself needing a lay-up shot, be conservative. There are babbling brooks and water hazards on this course. Use too much club and you'll be in your pocket. The course is in exceptional condition for this time year. The greens rolled true, but be careful. Several of the greens are tiered, so not reaching the upper level on some greens will leave an INTERESTING putt. My favorite hole today was #2 on the black course. It's a par-3, 135 full carry over water to an island green which immediately reminded me of #17 @ TPC Sawgrass. It's a great challenge which will reward if you can hit the green. My brother and I both made par. No matter what your skill level, do yourself a favor and make the trip to Cobblestone for a challenging yet fair test of your game. I for one will be making the 1.5 hour trip for a return round in the near future. I just wish I lived closer.
Great Course. One of the best any around. Owned by a local retired PGA Golfer. The Clubhouse has good food and decent service
Good course. Only thing is most holes require a hike up a steep hill once finished on the green. Hard on an old man on a hot day.
Great golf course and awesome customer service!
Very pretty and clean
Awesome food at Alexander's and great golf
Wonderful layout.
Best in Northeast Columbia! Excellent shape.
Had a golf outing to raise money for a non-profit . Everyone had a great time and the staff were outstanding!
Excellent course. Plan on going back in the spring. It's probably beautiful when the fairways turn back to green. Some of the course needs better directional signs to the hole.
Best course in Columbia.
Nice, beautiful, private and the clubhouse has amazing food.
Great course and Stunning scenery
Best course in Columbia area.
Best public access golf course in Columbia, South Carolina area.
Very nice place with courteous staff
Nice golf course, well maintained. A couple of odd holes, the par 3s are mostly up hill and you can't see the green from the tee so it makes for a tough first round.
Nice and quiet place. Good for a relaxing day of golf.
Very very sweet
Worked there for a golf tourney supplying golfers w snacks & drinks. The golf paths are a tad rough but was good overall.
Great Greens, great course!
Loved the course will definitely come back 5 stars
We had Mother's Day brunch at the club and it was fantastic. The bloody Marys were perfectly spiced. Everything on the buffet was delicious from the breakfast items to the lumch items. Service was also on point.
Was just there for a League tennis match Great facility, Gated & Security community
Great golf
Very nice an upkept
Great course, beautiful condition
Absolutely superb golfing experience. Premium real estate, excellent prices. Definitely a repeat trip in future.
Tony is a down right jerk. Wanting to spend the day with my husbNd on a golf course and he wants to pair us up with drinks and smokers. Your attitude sucks Tony.
Played two month ago and everything was awesome the only bad thing members has best tee time
Great greens. Challenging course
One of the nicest in the Midlands.
Great place to play a few rounds
The Mardi Gras party was wonderful, and the food continues to surprise me with this quality.
I had my wedding here and everything was perfect. Lauren was awesome to work with. The food was delicious, and the scenery was breathtaking.
Beautiful setting in gated community right off I-77, 27 hours, great lay out, impressive club house, surrounded by a well planned community developed by D H Horton. Looking for a house there.
Excellent golf course!!!. Thumbs up
Such a great environment and just overall beautiful place.
Great neighborhood roads need patching
I didn’t realize that semi-private meant that you could not pay to hit balls at the driving range. My 5 year old son and I were turned away from paying for range balls because we did not have a tee time. The guy in the pro shop felt terrible turning my son away, but he had to do it. I understand he was doing his job. Just never heard of this scenario.
Beautiful golf course!!! Gold Course is very challenging
Great menu great taste!
Fantastic layout. 27 holes. Always in great condition. A must play in the Columbia South Carolina area
Love it here, and the golf course was beautiful and very well maintained!!
I played music there for the Oliver Gospel Mission golf tournament. Amazing staff! What a great thing they do for the mission.
The best public course in town. Green and fairway conditions are always consistently great at all times. Typically Garnett and Black. Buy Gold is a fun course which needs accuracy. But at the end your score will be not bad. Bunker is not that intimidating.
Beautiful course and home of the Gamecocks. I have played here many times and always enjoy it. Also check out the memberships which are very reasonable.
Great Value! Fantastic course with great rates, nice clubhouse.
Golf course is beautiful and presents a great challenge for all golfing ranges. Club house is awesome and has beautiful views and good food at Alexander's. Nothing better then play 9 and having a few drinks and a bit afterwards!
This was not for me at all!!! Their drinks were $8. The bartenders were very limited on what they knew. Also, if you were not dressed as a millionaire they had no real interest in waiting on you.
Really worth it, no fooling...was cold that day, but I'm from Indianapolis, so was just fine for me. No flaws on course of any kind. Greens were FAST as Hell, but consistent. Lots of elevation changes, which I really enjoy. Univ. SC women's team plays here, I can see why. It may go private? Go play.
Beautiful course. Some interstate noise on a few holes but not bad. Played in December and it was pretty packed.
Great place for Weddings and Family Reunions. Kitchen space and two beer taps. Great trails and plently of space for activities .
Course is in great shape
Great course - even though it played lousy.
I found Cobblestone to be a fabulous find when I traveled to the area in search of warmer weather and great golf. The staff, facilities and the 'OMG golf course' are a real jewel. The elevation changes, open fairways and manicured greens made my buddy and I promise to return for another week of golf as soon as possible. We loved everything and enthusiastically recommend this golf experience to anyone who loves the game. Thank you to the management team and staff that made our experience a promise to return!!
What an awesome course! Travelled over from UK and had the pleasure of playing here. Absolutely brilliant. Course was in immaculate condition. Staff super friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience. Thank you Coblestone for a great day out!
Friendly staff. Fun, challenging track!
Beautiful and well maintained community and golf course.
Greens were fast!
Highly impressed by the upkeep of this course! The people here are down to earth enjoyable to talk with and caring.
Great course and conditions for the time of the year. The greens were perfect.
Great course, but cart paths suck!
3 nines! Beautiful holes and greens; nice Clubhouse though service is only avg.
I have been golfing for over 20 years. As a woman it can be hard to be taken seriously. I want to say that everyone I interacted with was incredibly welcoming and asking me to return. I played the 9 hole course. It was challenging but beautiful. I cannot wait to return! The Clubhouse is beautiful-- small Pro Shop is downstairs. This is where you want to spend your money and your afternoon!!
Best golf course in Columbia. Exceptionally staffed and the members are very welcoming. A hidden gem in Blythewood, SC. Don’t miss out!
Beautiful and well kept!
One of the best courses in the Midlands
Went to a workshop held here. The food was good, the view was lovely. Definitely bring a sweater, the room gets chilly.
Nice golf course. I thought it was a very challanging course too. Will play there again.
A very beautiful course. Might even think about moving into the community.
Was told today that unless I am with a member or playing golf I can no longer use the driving range
Amazing golf course. Most elevation change I have ever experienced on a golf course. Good scenery.
Club pro is a tool bag. We had some music playing on our bag and he came out like a douche and shut it down. Plus he told us they had coolers at the snack bar and they had none. The guy is a tool. I will not be going back.
Best course in the area I have played yet
Top of the class Golf Course
3 great 9 hole courses, beautiful views from a beautiful club house and staff is friendly and accommodating.
