What a horrible experience at Blissful. This course is a nice course, challenging, and in great shape. But a 5 hour and 50 minute round of golf? Inexcusable. We did not see a course ranger for the entire round. Last guy teed off at 12:40. On the front we saw a beverage cart at least three times. On the back the cart disappeared. To make matters worse our round included lunch and in the restaurant things slowed down even more. We walked into the pro shop to get our lunch ticket at 6:25. On the card they gave us it clearly said our tee time was 12:36 and the two behind the counter said nothing. What could they say? Well how about "Sorry about the pitiful slow play", but they said nothing. It took 30 minutes from the time we placed our drink order until a drink was placed in front of us. The young woman (who had the personality of a rock) who served us took our drink order twice. She took it about 20 minutes after we sat down and then came over 10 minutes later and took it again. After the second time we placed the order she did quickly bring our drinks over. We were fortunate that we placed our food order when we ordered our drinks the first time. Our cheeseburgers finally came out about another 30 minutes later. We finally walked out the door of the place after paying for our drinks at around 7:45. What a complete horror show. I have played this course several times and always enjoyed it. But it will be a long, long, long time before I head back there again if ever. Inexcusable.

Blissful Meadows has always been in good shape when I play it after May when a course really fills out based on being in New England the greens roll fast the grass on the fairways tees and greens are very full never spotty and the course layout itself is a quirky fun track Fair but can be very challenging at times

Course in great shape. Too bad the green complexes are much too difficult for the average golfer. You need to play here a few times to even get a feel for where you can miss. Being short is usually the only place you can miss to have access to the pins.

I'm extremely glad I did! The pro at Blissful, Rick Cardoza, is a fabulous teacher. Very easy to talk to, very patient, and able to explain things simply and clearly. After two lessons, I both improved dramatically and had a lot of fun. Yes, there is work to be done, but I'm enjoying myself for the first time. I'm sure experienced golfers would get a lot out of his expertise as well.

Just got married at Blissful Meadows this past weekend and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Every second from the first tour to the last dance was pain free and professional. The entire staff was amazing and Janelle especially made our day run so smoothly. The best part of our whole experience was that we were able to call the shots and Janelle made our vision come to life. Every detail was exactly as we had planned. The food was incredible. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant. There are not enough words to describe how pleased and grateful we are for the fantastic team at Blissful Meadows!!! So much love from Mr. And Mrs. D'Aniello!!

The golf course is great (tees, fairways & greens). As we checked in we were advised that the front nine was being airieated and we would have to play the back twice. The cart was wet and the surly starter said he has already wiped it. As I returned to the car to get a towel he rewiped it. Yesterday was a rainy day so he told us "cart paths only". Although the grass was wet, the grounds we're firm enough to support a ninety degree strategy. When we stopped at the turn for lunch, they advised us they do not typically allow food at the turn (never heard of this). Such a beautiful course deserves a better management team. I suggest you ask if there are any restrictions when you book.

I was very disappointed with the restaurant/bar service that we received following our $140 round of 18 including lunch. The golf was great. However, the customer service was lacking and the excuses were flowing from the 1 individual behind the bar who didn’t understand the supposedly new computer system. We initially placed our orders , and 3 other individuals that came after us received their meals first. Then, 45 minutes later the bartender did not apologize for the extreme delay, but continued to blame it on the new computer. The bartender also commented ... you were not in a rush anyways! This was assumed and not appreciated. She also made an error on the bill, but I was in a rush and didn’t have time to wait. The service and treatment of customers is inexcusable , and certainly not worth the expense of an anticipated enjoyable day.

Choosing Blissful Meadows as our wedding venue was the greatest decision we made! The entire grounds, Pavillion and ceremony arbor were BEAUTIFUL!! Melissa was our coordinator and she made everything perfect and was absolutely wonderful to work with. My family and our entire Bridal Party had nothing but praise about Melissa as well! Her extra touches are what makes your day better than you imagined! Over the years, they have collected different decor that has been left behind from weddings and if it fits with your theme, these great treats pop up too! We used the windows for our engagement photos to be shown and in between the 3 columns, there were Mr & Mrs flags that were added. Little treasures like that meant so much to me because it is so hard to picture everything when you are designing everything at home and not the venue itself. Melissa ran the show and was so organized, I barely had to do anything at the rehearsal or wedding! We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. The food was absolutely fantastic! We HIGHLY recommend the steak tips and so many people raved about them! The staff was so friendly too.. I don't think I passed a waitstaff who didn't take the opportunity to congratulate us! We paid for the old school car to drop me off and take us for a cruise after the ceremony. Melissa's dad is the driver and he is so nice too! He had my nephews (they escorted me down the aisle, 7 & 11 y/o) and myself cracking up! Melissa's husband manages the food and beverage with her sister working there too! This is truly a FAMILY business and they pride themselves on their work. You can tell they all love being part of your special day and they make you feel like part of the family too. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how well everything was run and put together. How beautiful the venue was and how wonderful everyone was. It was a fantastic night we will remember forever and we have Melissa, her family and the staff to thank for it! You would be crazy not to consider this hidden gem in the woods! Bonus, a bunch of guys got some golf in after the rehearsal!

First time there. Originally thought it to be a little on the expensive side. But, found out that the price was for 18 holes, cart, and included lunch after the 18. The course is in absolutely beautiful shape, pace was good and had an awesome time. Can't wait to go back again. Best conditioned course I played ALL YEAR.

It would at least help in keeping the flies off the food. Limited drink selection that ran out of the popular beers within an hour? The effort of the family in the decorations really made it feel special. It could be a great bargain I just don't know. So it's tough to say for sure because it wasn't my wedding and I didn't have any expectations other than enjoying family. I'm just thinking of the creature comforts for the review. Some people won't be overly excited about the bathroom set up either (trailer porta potty) just saying. All in all I had a wonderful time because it all comes down to family and friends. It's really all that should matter.

Blissful Meadows is the most amazing place to have a wedding! The entire process was so easy and stress-free. My wife and I didn’t have to do much of anything, as they took care of our food (which was INCREDIBLE), they did the cake, and because the Pavillion is SO beautiful, we really didn’t need any decorations. Melissa was so helpful all night to make sure that we ate, that everything was happening on schedule, and she cleaned up all of our stuff at the end of the night. We could not be any happier with our wedding experience and we would do it a thousand times over.

Our wedding was held here on August 21, 2016. This venue is absolutely stunning, the staff extremely friendly, and the food was delicious! We have gotten many compliments from our guest on how beautiful everything was. Melissa was an absolute joy to work with, and extremely professional and helpful with any questions we had. The experience there was more of the worst I’ve ever had in my entire life golfing . I was part of a threesome with a twosome behind us. On the 12th hole which the cart path is dangerous to say the least The twosome roll the cart injuring one of the players . By the way the sound you have up do not absolve you from any negligence. Because the golfer was injured and he could not play anymore we asked the other one to join us so we could finish the round together . One of the patrons saw us with five people in the group and alerted player assistance. And on the 17th hole player assistance stopped and talk to us . This 28-year-old slob whi probably lives with his parents was rude and Obnoxious to us. After not listening to our explanation he drove away in haste and we continued . Fast forward to the end of the 18th hole when they called the police and a rescue that we did not ask for and told the police that we are obnoxious and unruly. Because of their idiotic behavior three police officers and two rescue personnel were sent there unnecessarily This course does not care about you or your safety. I will never ever give them a single dime of my money again and I encourage you all to do the same thing do not play there . And I hope the person who was injured is smart and contacts his lawyer because they were negligent.

we were here for a wedding and everything was beautiful. this is a great place for a party even in July. qe expected it to be hot and the building does not have a/c. but they do have fans that work well. There was a nice breeze too. post and beam barn is newer addition. The food was excellent. prepared well and served hot. a hard thing to do when serving 200+ guests. I would reccomend this facility for parties.

If I could give negative stars I would, management is rude and blame players for their inability to run a course we we're asked to leave because we had a junior player and a female player both of which kept game moving, group behind us was never held up yet we were accused due to our foursome. I will never play here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

Before I even talk about the venue itself let me just say that Melissa is a wedding extraordinaire, not only is she on top of everything you can think of she is on top of all the things you didn’t even know you had to be thinking about. The planning, wedding and reception wouldn’t have gone nearly as smooth as it did if not for her and for that she has both my wife and I’s thanks! Especially since we gave her and her husband the bar manger such a tough time with wanting a specific wine from my home back in South Africa as well! We had our wedding up in the Chestnut room as well as the reception. We were planning on doing it outside, but fickle New England Weather made that a little impossible in the end though. Even though it was all inside it really was an amazing wedding and we couldn’t have asked for more. The food was excellent and staff amazing, not once did we have to ask for anything at all! The golf course also makes for wonderful photos and scenic backdrops as well. If you’re looking for a rustic venue that you can have your wedding and reception at, be that inside or outside take a look at Blissful Meadows, you won’t be sorry!
