This Golf corresponds to the category of Golf course.
Layout is excellent, Staffs are kind, greens are ok, but need to improve PACE OF PLAY...This course takes 5 hour to finish on weekend.
It is a very unfriendly golf course that does not offer discounts.
Links style golf course...huge greens..a lot of blind hazards & shots
well kept and difficult, especially the greens
This course was a fun and challenging course as the fairways and greens have some significant slopes to them. For being only my third time out on a golf course, I found this course aesthetically pleasing. The one complaint I have is the golf path takes you around the community and the houses around it. Took our group about five hours to complete.
Course is in better shape than in years. Staff not friendly or helpful
Horrible Management at Lederach. Been there a bunch of times. I go back because I like the challenging layout and hope things will get better, but they never do. Be prepared for a 5+ hour round every time because they don't have a starter or ranger. Last time we were behind a group of beginners playing the blue tees, duffing it and re-teeing on every hole. As others have said the pace of play is painfully slow any time of day. Greens and fairways last time were in really bad shape. Crabgrass in random spots on fairways and greens were hairy and slow. The course has potential but I definitely won't be back again unless new management takes over.. The best is their rain check policy...it goes by time spent on the course, not by how many holes you completed. I think you can see the conundrum there.
Overall I really enjoy this course. The staff are great and friendly. The biggest downfall are off course the few very clugy greens. The 18th green is arguably the worse green I've ever seen. It should be bulldozed and rethought.
always a great course to play
Overall, one of my favorite public courses in the area. Not the cheapest, but worth the extra cost. Hard enough to be challenging, but forgiving enough, where you dont lose too many balls if you are having a rough day.
Great course but allot of blind shots makes it a bit frustrating the first time through. A good challenge.
Played in June 09. The previous reviews are still true. Definitely should have your game tuned up. Very unique greens, course in great shape. The clubhouse is nice and spacious. Would like to play again when I am playing better.
We had dinner at Leddy's Pub. The staff-Dylan-was very pleasant. The beers were cold. Our meals were delicious. My wife had the Crab Cake entree & I had BBQ Ribs. We were both very happy with our meals. The price was appropriate. A Groupon got us to Leddy's Pub our dining experience will make us return.
Very well maintained.
Awesome course in Harleysville. Crazy tough par 3 on the back 9 and some really challenging layout but a fun course. Definitely give it a shot.
It is a great golf course...i highly recommend it to everyone! People are friendly and helpful there as well.
Challenging course with beautiful greens and forgiving fairways was a great public course.
Very wet, but nice tract!
This course is a very interesting fun place to play. It actually reminded me of some of the resort courses I have played. There are multiple tee boxes so you can play at the appropriate level. The fairways are mogulled with a number of elevation changes that keep it interesting. They are also wide for the most part, which is nice. Some water comes into play, but is avoidable. The greens are undulating, but rolled very true. The speed of the greens was consistant. There is a housing development, but its well designed as the houses never came close to being in play. The people there were nice , especially the bartender as we enjoyed the clubhouse after the round.
Fantastic course! Tees and greens are in pristine condition. The fairways have been well taken care of considering the rain that we've had lately. The staff are some of the friendliest people I've met at a course.
Good tough course in good shape. Links
Party party party
Great course, fair price , food also pretty good just a little expensive.
I LOVE GOLF I CANT STOP PLAYING EVEN AT HOME I PLAY GOLF GAME ON PHONE AND PC. I AM ADICCTED TO GOLF NOW
This is my favorite course
Nice course. Can be challenging at times.
Way over priced for what it is. The course isn't in great condition, greens are pretty slow and cart girl/guy service was minimal. Overall not a great course.
Ok. But no too good
Great conditions....
Links style course, tough greens. Challenging.
Ok course. Greens tough, almost to unfair. Need yardage book or app to navigate most holes
Solid course and well maintained. Would play again!
Always in great shape, layout challenges your whole game, not just a grip and rip, have to think your way around this one
Great links style course People are friendly and helpful.
Ok course. A little gimmicky and there are a couple of holes that there isn't a landing spot that keeps you out of trouble for the average person. The 630 yd par five is at least two long shots before you can even see the pin. Many holes are not contiguous so there is a lot of driving in circles.
We have had a charity golf outing here for last 5 years and everyone always has a great time. Dan and Sue are GREAT to work with and help out in so many ways to make our event well run and profitable! The staff is great too and food/drink service was great! Thanks Dan and Sue!
Great course. Mounds, hills, bunkers everywhere.
Great course, always in great shape.
This golf course is beautiful greens were beautiful will definitely be playing here alot
The design of this course makes golf here artificially difficult. Bunkers, hidden from site, in the middle of the fairways are not necessary; the course layout is plenty difficult. You can hit a great approach shot that will turn into a 3 put due to the huge slopes in the green. Holes 1, 5, 8, and 18 are the worst in this regard. It seems like they use the same sand in fairway bunkers as they do in greenside bunkers. The greenside ones are very hard and very unforgiving. You can't put the club 2 inches behind the ball unless you want to blade it. They need to redesign this course because it's far too punishing for a public course. Unless you have a single digit handicap, you will shoot very high and won't have a fun time. The course is very well maintained which is sad because the difficulty distracts you from its beauty.
Great layout, horrible drainage. For the price you pay to get on this course, it should at least be dry (rained 3 days before my round and still swampy). Coupled with the defensive attitude we got when we voiced our legitimate opinion, I can't justify playing this course again when there are so many other better options in the area.
I attend a charity event here every year and always look forward to it. Nice course
Love playing here with crazy greens that .ca make for a really fun or miserable day of putting. Personally, I love it!
Not one to do reviews but loved this course will definitely be back soon
A beautiful course, a long and challenging course. Had a fabulous time playing 18 and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Lederach Golf Course!
Great food, course is great to play on , quizo nights . of course the 19th hole is always ths best.
Nice layout and great condition. Good deal with golfnow
I always favored Parkland golf courses to link style courses but this place really changed my mind. A straight forward, enjoyable and challenging layout. Get your yardages right and your lag putting working during warm up. You'll need it.
Lack of water on course
One of the most challenging golf course of this area.
Good layout and well maintained. Nice clubhouse with good view of 9th hole green. Slow play often lasts longer than five plus hours.

Great course, challenging!
Love, love, love this course, but Dan needs to do a better job on who he employs there! Had problems in past with lady bartender being rude but could handle that! Last time in though the dude behind desk(David?) was a complete scumbag! When I'm spending $70+ of my money I expect all smiles, even if just for show!
Enjoyed it a lot. course in great shape. Starter was very friendly and gave us advice on how to play some of the holes
Conveniently located for me, but way too expansive and the appetizers we had were not good.
Beautiful, well maintained course which can play quite difficult. The par 3s are long and a couple of the par 4s are nearly par 5 length, watch out!
Good course conditions and lay out
I liked it from the Senior Tees. Greens are quite a challenge.
If you like difficult and fun golf, and you appreciate golf course architecture (Kelly Blake Moran), then you must play here. Even though this course is a little less on “LSD” than Morgan Hill, crazy features are traded for optical illusions, and intimidation off the tee is traded for confusion as to how best to attack with a driver. You’ll soon find the driver is probably not the best choice off the tee and strategy takes hold. How did he know exactly where to put that bunker? Greens feature varieties of sizes, shapes, and elevation changes. The greens roll a little slow, but true, making the undulations a welcome and exciting challenge, or a roller coaster if you didn’t land it close enough. Brilliant and intuitive design boundaries on the psychological with narrowing and widening of fairways playing tricks on the eyes. It looks like over 250 yards away as it trails off into the distance, but you measure 138 to the flag and scratch your head. The par 5 uphill should be a par 6 when you play it from the blues or the blacks. It’s best to play this course with someone who has played it before. But, if you’re like me and you thought it would be a good idea to play it from the blues, trust your instincts on the blind shot. It goes that way, just a lot farther than you think. Like a beer and some good eats afterwards? The Turkey Rachael isn’t colorful, but makes you wonder why you never heard of a Turkey Rachael before.
Played here a few days ago. Love this course. It's a tough grind but fair. I love the layout, and the rolling greens really test your skills. Fabulous course.
Over priced golf with a lot of slow Asians on really stupid pin placement. Some greens are so dumb you will think you at a mini golf course Most range balls are 20-25 years old and the bar/restaurant has a terrible atmosphere. I've played here more times I can count and never stayed for food or booze.
it was fun and challenging.
Lots of grass
Just played the course today for the first time this year, I expected the course not to be in too good of condition due to just coming out of the winter months, I was wrong, the course played GREAT. The staff is ALWAYS been Great, I even followed Dan to this course from the prior course he was the Pro at. I will be back many times again this year with my Advantage card.
There for a honeymoon shower. Food was good and well presented. Servers and bartender were quick, friendly and attentive. The room was attractive.
Great place for a golf league.
Tough layout, great conditions
Not for the timid golfer. Great condition, but difficult to play for the retired weekday golfer.
Very nice course. Staff is very professional
Price, $76. Not remotely worth it. Greens are slow, and horribly inconsistent. Fairways are already beat up (it's Early May) , showing no sign of any effort from the staff. Range will cost you more, with equally bad turf. Pace: Well, we gave up after 2:10...on the sixth hole. They were nice enough to rain check us the round, but I can't imagine mustering the urge to go back for another chance at 6+ HOURS. Amenities: Not awful, decent clubhouse, decent range (if you can find some grass to hit from) Shop is well stocked. The course itself has potential, but not more than the huge number of good courses in the area that are <50. There are plenty of gimmicks which make the course enticing to see, but not worth the price or the time commitment.
I like just about everything at Lederach. You get the experience that you pay for. The range is nice. The putting green, even though it lacks the complexity of greens on the course, gives players a chance to be sure they are stroking putts smoothly. This is not a “grip it and rip it” sort of golf course. It requires quite a bit of thought about landing areas and approach angles. It is very important to select a correct tee and not bite off too much challenge. The par fives are exceptional, especially the uphill 12th. The par three’s are all distinctive. The two shot halls very nicely in terms of distance and difficulty. I have never been treated poorly by staff. Matter of fact, They are unfailingly accommodating.
