Held my 1st fundraising tournament today. The golf staff and restaurant staff went out of their way to make everything as good as possible. Lots of positive feedback from the golfers and the other tournament staff! GREAT EVENT!

Been playing for years, and conditions get better each year. However, there is no excuse for slow play and the management does nothing about it. It will be a scheduling conflict if you play here. There's a certain class of person that traditionally plays slow, don't fix ball marks, and spend $0 in the club house and restaraunts. You know who you are, and until the management does something about it, me and my friends will not be coming back.

Played last Friday - was charge Holiday rate for Good Friday, despite pretty low crowds and still being in March, and on top of it found course to be a complete construction zone. Many areas under MAJOR repair, no restrooms on course, greens recently aerated and bumpy. Overall just not ready enough to justify charging full rates. I hope the tree removals and repairs all pan out and happen quickly, but will not be playing again there anytime soon.

This is a nice course, right in the middle of Allentown. There's a good amount of water and other hazards to add a little bit of difficulty. The self-serve driving range and on-site dining options also make this a great place to plan a golf outing.

They really cleaned-up the course nicely! The locker rooms can use some TLC. Jack's Slice is a nice sports pub for the golfers and general community. A few more tweaks and this can become a destination golf club/sports pub.

Nice course and convenient location. Unfortunately, the pace of play is awful on busy days/weekends. I gave up on my last round there after playing 6 holes in 2.5 hours.

Played the course for a church fundraiser tournament. It was nice. I'm a beginner so it wasn't too difficult. The driving range is in rough shape. First time I went there it took a while to get the ball machine to dispense. And today it was empty. There were about 6 of us waiting to get balls and the guy at the front of line put about $20 in it and got nothing. Another guy called the shop and got no answer. Grounds crew guy told us we could go picking for balls out on the range if we wanted. So that's what some people did.

Green fees don't include a cart making it a bit to pricy! Waits on the tee boxes make for a five hour round of golf at peak times.

Played this course for the 1st time this year, in the last week of April. The greens were in very good condition. I must say that I was very impressed by the course renovations that are taking place here (new bridges, nuisance tree and brush removal, interesting landscaping improvements and more). While it will take a while for the new landscaping to mature, I enjoyed my round and plan to up the frequency of my visits. What had been an average municipal course has now gotten it's long overdue facelift. Making it much more friendly for the mid to high handicap players, while still offering a respectable challenge for low handicappers. It's nice to see a local municipal course on the upswing. Congratulations on a job well done!

This place is a nightmare. It's overpriced to begin with and its always a minimum 5+ hour round due to the amount of walkers/multiple 5 piece groups Save your money and go somewhere else.

It was my home course and I loved it. It was a great course but I now have to change my original glowing review. It's now basically a construction site. It's sad but this isn't worth the cost. They took out so many trees it's appalling. It's all mud and wide open - no character. There are other courses close by - try one of them instead.

The muni courses in Scranton and Wilkesbarre don’t even compare to Atown Muni. Layout just oozes classic 1920’s course (don’t know when construction) green complexes have a lot of character in addition to some beautiful homes around the course.

This is my friend favorite Course. It's OK for me to crowded. But I do like BECU you can walked all around 18 whole like Willow Brook. That is the must for me in golf course.

Love the course. Great conditions with really nice vistas, some holes are challenging while other reward straight drives and approach shots. Pace of play is what you'd expect for a municipal course. Would've rated it 5 stars but the people that work there are down right miserable. The pro shop especially. I was considering becoming a member but am holding off until they make some personel changes and improve the member amenities to include the locker rooms.

The course is pristine, on the short and not overly difficult side but be prepared for a 6 hour round of golf. Tee times are stacked so there is a wait on every shot and there are no Rangers keeping the dufffers moving. It took 2 hrs and 45 minutes to get in 9 holes and I had to get a rain check for the back nine since a league was preparing to go off of ten and the starter wouldn't let me play through even though the entire hole was open and the league wasn't ready to hit! Very disappointing. The group slowing things down on the front 9 had left.
