Great events tent, good banquet food, nice servers

Nothing more than a money hungry & energy sucking corporation. The gal we got assigned was incredibly pushy about reserving our wedding day (this is $4,000 we're talking about for a deposit) saying someone else would get the day if we didn't pay them. We paid it and it all went downhill from there. She was rude and always pushing their rules in our face hitting obstacles with every detail. If you want to bring your own catering for example, there's a $16k buy-out fee. We got mismatching quotes from different people. Any time I called in, I wasn't able to get anyone on the phone who could help me. We asked to be assigned to someone else, and were unable to. They could care less about your big day, or the details that go into planning it. They make it more of an obstacle course than they do fun and heartfelt like it's supposed to be. Please spare yourself the time and money, and go hire a venue that will do more than pretend to care, otherwise you may find yourself pulling your hair out before your big day, and being several thousand dollars short. I was incredibly unhappy with the service and standard of care these people have, and was unable to obtain any refund. Check out Aerie, Opal 28, Black Butte Ranch, or Corvallis Country Club, ANYONE BUT OREGON GOLF CLUB. Trust me, you'll thank yourself and your wallet later for doing so.

Went to a private event here and the scenery is fantastic. We had the event in what looked like a perm at tent structure to the side of the main property. The staff that handled the event was kind and professional. The grounds overall are very well maintained and I was impressed. It would be nice to come back here for a round of golf!

Facilities were all very well maintained, beautifully landscaped and picturesque views from tee-boxes and greens, even the dining hall. Visited this course as part of a @CASAforChildren event. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful golf course. The tee boxes have no information about the holes you're playing. That's a little frustrating. But, it is a private course and probably the members have a better score card provided than our tournament did.

Wedding ceremony first time visitor... The location was beautiful. Great view. Terrific wedding venue... Kitchen is in need of desperate help though. Dinner rolls were raw dough. Beef tenderloin ranged from cold/raw, to well done leather boot strap. Salad was a Caesar dressing soup with lettuce and cheese floating in it. Fish was edible but roasted carrots more like vegetable jerky. Food was cleared two minutes after last table went through line. Not sure if that was because of union requirements, or just abject shame over how bad it was. Tough to say... Fix the food and I'd give it five stars for weddings/events. Otherwise it's four stars based on beauty of location and very kind/sincere front line staff. No idea how good the golf course is but looked nice and I'll be back to play 18 holes soon.

One of the best private golf courses around. The staff is by far some of the best people I have ever been around. I played in a Member/Guest Tournament and it was ran flawlessly. The course was in perfect conditions, they always had water on the course, clean restrooms, cart drink services, and were always on time. I hope to be a member in the future.

Pertaining to the wedding venue: I am genuinely confused as to why this place has the high ratings it does. I can only assume it is because at one point, people must have worked here that had even the most basic customer service and personal communication skills. Those days must be over. I assume the food would have been amazing but I never got there. What I got was four site visits to a beautiful place with four different people who can corroborate my story on the following: one coordinator rolling her eyes repeatedly and saying memorable things like "We are really just trying to fill our calendar", her supervisor claiming I must have "misunderstood the tone over email" of that first coordinator, then telling us that about a third of the outdoor patio space (incidentally, the third that makes the entire space gorgeous and has access to the beautiful view they boast) would actually be blocked off and not part of the site rental although it was initially and repeatedly presented as a feature. This information, by the way, was not disclosed up front, but revealed to me in the final hour of contract signing because I happened to ask just the right questions in just the right way. Other brides may not be so lucky. They're very responsive; a favorite response around here seems to be "my hands are tied", which is just the kind of confidence-inspiring, customer-advocating language you want to hear from someone you're spending $30,000 with. Although I spent months wishing and hoping and making excuses for the customer service RED FLAGS I experienced (to the bewilderment of the 4 people I mentioned before, and mostly because the space, which turned out not to really be the space, was so beautiful) it is finally clear to me that my business belongs elsewhere. Yours does too.
