DESCRIPTION

You will be able to see all the information of real people like you who use the products of Salmon Run Golf Course (Golf) in Oregon.

To this day this firm receives a score of 4.5 out of 5 and the score is based on 65 reviews.

As you can read, the average score it has is virtually the top, and it's based on a high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the rating is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well with the business, it works.

As you know, we do not usually bother to place reviews when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

This Golf is included in the category of Golf course.

Really fun golf course! We had a great time and look forward to returning. The course is carved out of the woods around it so be ready to loose some golf balls.

Salmon Run Golf Course is a generally well-regarded layout, which includes several attractive holes and features. This tree-lined parkland course will test most facets of your game, and should provide a round with plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges. Worth visiting if you are in the area.

Use of all clubs

William East

Challenging layout. They plugged the greens in October so it was still hard to putt.

Ronald Sloniker

Great management and great coarse.

Micah Frey

Fun, yet challenging course! Walked on & played with some locals; had a great time. You need a yardage book & rangefinder to avoid getting into trouble (in addition to some descent shot making). Course condition is fair to good, but you can tell they are putting effort into improvements. For the amount of acreage this course covers & the rates that are charged, it was acceptable.

Walt Fuller

Over priced The tee boxes are in pad shape and so are the fairways.

Great course and place for event venue

dennis ross

It's a great place for golf or walking your dog.

Bill East

Great layout along the canyon. This is a challenging course not for the faint hearted. You must use a riding cart unless you are part mountain goat or Sherpa. I last played it the end of October 1 week after they plugged the greens.

Tommy Mccormick

It looks the best it ever has They've done a lot of work to it

Susan Kalina

Public course nestled in a canyon with clear running streams. Challenging enough for the scratch golfer and plenty of shorter tee boxes for the average or beginner. Well maintained. Nice pro shop with nice lunch items so you can enjoy their deck and watch other golfers.

I've played a lot of courses well north of $100 a round, and this one ranks right near the top. I wonder how they can maintain it for the price of green fees. It's in my top 3-4. There is no walking this course unless you're 20, and regularly hike the PCT, or a new Marine just out of boot camp. Yes, you are rewarded by straight shots and punished for errant shots. The most challenging course I've played. I only get over there a couple times a year, but each round keeps me thinking about it till I return.

My 87 year old veteran Dad, who travelled all the way from Redding, Ca. Paid for 18 holes of golf and a cart. He played 9 holes and was given a rain check to return and play the other 9 holes. When he returned a day later on Thursday, they wanted to charge him an additional $10 and pay for a golf cart again, and was told to come back after 1 pm. He was ok with returning at 1 pm,but he already had paid $35 for 18 holes with a cart and did not want to pay again. This is no way to treat your elder guests!!! He will never return to your business. This place is a rip off and they do not honor their word or rein checks.

Great course. Great staff. Great shape...

Bob Keller

Interesting layout, the grass on the tee boxes was almost non existent. Dress code not enforced

I love it it's my office! I've been working at salmon run going on my six season.

Salmon Run was the most disappointing course that we found whilst travelling down the west coast over the past few weeks (don't pay any attention to the photos online of a pristine course). Cost was about average (US $55) but the course was in disgusting condition...ive seen better on course maintenance from sheep. The greens were patchy and the explanation given for inconsistency was that they use different grass for different greens...makes me wonder whether anyone there knows how to run a golf course.

Awesome, love it. Tough and beautiful, just like my wife.

Harvey Parke

Love the course, looking forward to week after next to play several times.

Jeff Pickford

This course is a challenge. if you have a handicap above 12 swallow you ego and use your 5 wood, hybrids and irons and play from the shorter club tees (5400 yds.). Shelve the driver. It demands pinpoint accuracy. but can be a lot of fun to play. The greens are big and in excellent shape. The traps have green sand. Green fees are a little high but not out of line when you consider the maintenance this course requires.

Lovely drive out here, friendly ladies at Cafe & food all local...

This is a beautiful golf course and I love the challenges that it offers. This is a good walking course. Lot's of dear and birds and you feel the green. Fairways are narrow and play pretty hard. If you are a straight driver then your placement will be perfect. If you fade or hook then keep in mind that there is not a lot of run out to the second cut and the ruff is tight and unforgiving. Throw in some tough water features including an island hole with a deceptive approach and you will have quite a day of golf. Don't let this green monster get ya, keep your wits about you and it will be a very fun day.

Jan McCollister

Husband and friends playing golf and loving it. Wives eating lunch at Fairway Cafe on the deck. Great breakfast and lunch place

William Bell

Great place to play Golf. Challenging.

Travis Donohie

Challenging course, but beautiful and kept up great on maintaining greens and fairways

Richard Schallmo

Played there 4 times in a period of 3 weeks. Challenging course. Greens are in great shape. Target golf. Makes you think where to hit your next shot. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

What a beautiful and fun golf course!

Cable Amsden

This is a gorgeous golf course! I pay $190/month for an all inclusive membership (cart included). That is a screaming deal. You need to be able to hit the ball straight, ocassionally. A lot of area for iron play, I drive the ball around 270 and there are only 4 or 5 holes that I will consider a driver. I generally shoot around a 90, since moving to Salmon Run, I have been shooting around a 97; this is a challenging golf course.

Great course. Price was good for how nice the course is.

Great venue for a summer wedding. A beautiful backdrop that would give any couple a beautiful outdoor wedding. Large building fora reception with a large outdoor dance floor.

May Farrand

Beautiful course with interesting and challenging holes. Golf cart paths wind through the woods. Hilly course, you'll need a cart. A gorgeous Creek criss-crosses the course. Fun first time round. Will definitely play it again (and again). Only downside, practice range is short - you can only hit irons. Truly a hidden gem in Brookings.

Bernard Ana Banta

Gorgeous area, if you're lucky you will see wildlife . Easy access to parking and Clubhouse. Friendliness is in abundance.

Let's start with the fact that I LOVE that we have such a nice golf course here. My two-star rating has to do with the food service we experienced at a recent event. We were served a dinner that was basically inedible. I believe the green beans were canned. The potatoes were dry and rubbery. There was a mystery meat which was tender, sort of. Fake plates, and a ho-hum salad. I just felt sad to see that when the golf course is so nice. Having spoken with two others who attended today who shared the same reaction, I felt compelled to write this. It's a simple fix if the caterer wants to make some improvement. I honestly doubt if the organization that used your services will be back there after such a poor experience.

Jerry Brown

Great golf course. Fun fair priced..friendly staff

Jacque Wilson

Great course...fun target golf...would definitely play again.

Salmon Run has been largely rehabilitated in the past year and a half by new management. It is well worth visiting both for a challenging golf game and a healthy meal.

Sherri Hewitt

Dog friendly and very nice

S Hendrickson

A really fun golf course. We played it summer of 2013. Our story is made more interesting by the fact that the course is not prepared to have walkers. no pull carts. My son and I walked it, having to carry our bags, often down narrow paths, overgrown with blackberry bushes. We still loved it, though there is danger (i.e. penalty strokes) lurking on every hole. We even got turned around a few times and ended up playing the holes in the wrong order. straight hitters have a major advantage over long hitters here. Only beef. At least give people a chance to get some exercise and walk with pull carts! Dan and Cole

An unusual, fun golf course!

This place is incredible! One of the sweetest courses around. You can't get a better experience for the price. I am so grateful this gem is in my backyard!
