The care of River Ridge has declined drastically recently. The Nines (short par 3 course) and Sutton (medium 9 hole course) has been sold and is currently turning into housing development. The driving range has also been declining in quality of the mats and tees, but the staff are EXCELLENT. They are always available and ready to help and are extremely courteous and readily available. River Ridge is a good public course, but is a little spent for the quality of the course

I'm a caregiver and I bring my elderly clients whom suffer from memory loss to their driving range every week. The employees are great and have great attention to detail. They offer golf lessons; though, I haven't personally taken a class I've witnessed many of them and they sure look fun and easy to follow!

I am a golf professional in the Lane County area and it had been awhile since I played at RiverRidge. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the golf course conditions were. The layout of the golf course was very fun and interesting, with many visually appealing golf holes. I especially enjoyed the 2nd shot on hole #8 and hole #4 and the tee shot on hole #3. I had an awesome experience and would recommend RiverRidge to anyone looking for a place to play golf in Lane County.

Nice course. 9 holds and has good variations. It takes 2 of us about 2 hours to finish a round. Not that far from downtown Eugene. Also has a good driving range.

Would NOT RECOMMEND! Overpriced, old facilities, mediocre layout at best, owners vibe is less than friendly, you hit off mats almost all the time, you can get hit by range balls on three different holes, and the greens are about a 7.5 on the stimp. Emerald Valley, Diamond Woods, and ECC are Superior to this one. I would rather play Springfield CC or Oakway than this one! Save your money!

The course is in world class shape now that the greens are almost completely healed from last year's disaster. The fairways are perfect and the primary rough is not too punishing. Beautiful views and every hole is a challenge. The staff are friendly and helpful. One of the area's finest courses. Reviewed after playing in May 2019.

Can’t explain how unbelievably disappointed I am with this facility as a whole. DO NOT make this your home course if you actually want to progress as a player! They don’t have a single spot to chip or hit wedges, they nickle and dime their members when it comes to range balls, all staff, except for the pro shop, is the definition of unprofessional and the owner somehow believes he owns a grade A facility when they just sold 27 of their 36 golf holes last year due to the lack of business and need for liquidity. Not to mention the golf course is manicured very poorly (consistent bad lies in the fairway, unfindable balls in the rough because of unnecessary length and countless spots on greens that won’t grow back in properly) Again, everyone in the pro shop working behind the counter is great (Aaron, Bailey, Riley, etc), the rest are in serious need of a reality check and general decency.

Came out when we had the snow that actually stuck. Wanted somewhere close to home that had snow untouched by humans. Can't so much golf due to titanium hips and broken spine but if the owners would have my I would love to film a flyby of your driving range and all 18 holes. We could even film the clubhouse as a walkthrough, get in touch with me if you folks are interested.

This could be a really nice course, if they just took care of it. Lots of bare grass spots, Uncut fairways, concrete hard sand traps, and sprinklers running on a green at 10 a.m. sure doesn't help your game to much... just too expensive for what you your paying. Greens were in good shape though!

Two 9-hole courses and an 18-hole. Driving range is on grass weekends with good weather. Really good putting greens for practice, especially by the shortest 9-hole course.
