Well groomed course. I like the difficult greens because of pin placement. I also like the bunker placement. Made me risk the long ball a few times. All in all I really enjoyed this course. I almost got a hole in one on Hole 4.

This was our first time playing a full 18 here. The staff are friendly, and the course is challenging for those who are still new to the game, but not enough to frustrate you. The carts have been upgraded with new GPS computers which were a nice touch. Will definitely come again.

I played Meadows last week with seven buddies on a Bend golf binge. It is beautiful and meticulously groomed. We had never played it before so we didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. The greens were the hardest and fastest greens I have ever played. One golf employee said they were 12 on the stimpmeter. The rough, even around fairway bunkers was 3 feet high and impossible to find your ball. If you hit rough your ball is gone. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are a very low single digit handicapper. I am an eleven and the rest of my group ranged from 13-26. I can truthfully say it was not fun and the course felt unfair. It was $114 with a cart and a bucket of balls. Higher in cost than the other courses we played that week and not nearly as much fun. We won't be back!

Great golf course, $19 for 18 w/cart for those from Deschutes county is hard to beat. Beautiful views and the course was in good condition

Beautiful views walking along The Meadows golf course today; the greens looked in good condition...small groups quietly played through, enjoying the mild fall weather. A few birdwatchers were out, too. Lunch outside around the fire pit in back of The Lodge was a perfect conclusion to a lovely morning stroll.

Always love my time spent golfing here. The Deschutes national forest backdrop never fails to delight, I love the twilight hour rounds because I always get to the last two holes as the sun is setting over Mt. Bachelor, the birds and other wildlife become very active and it has a wonderful peacefulness. The course is normally not too difficult, though the rough can be a little unforgiving around when they are hosting tournaments.

We had breakfast & golf here - that breakfast burrito was huge and very good. My score at golf was also huge, and not very good. But the course was in great condition!
