Great Golf course!
Golf scenery is great and the restaurant offers many wonderful options. (Happy hour all day Sundays) Plus a great outside patio for those warmer days. Service was excellent. Elsa is a wonderful server, even when she wasn't ours she still stopped by to say hi. Can't wait to also try Rip Night too!
The course is in great shape. Most traps were not in use though. Staff was great as always!!
I come up to the Canby area about once a year. I always enjoy playing Langdon Farms even in the rain the condition is generally excellent. Keith Lee of the golf shop staff was very helpful giving me a run through of the course the last two times I played it.
We have several groups that regularly play Langdon on Fridays and Sundays. We absolutely love what we call our "country club." One of the first things that you will notice is the friendly staff. Keith, Luke, Aaron, Kevin, Andrew are polite and welcoming. There are several newer female staff members that are also great. The marshals are wonderful also. John and Mike usually send us off and always have a great attitude. The course is fun to play and very well maintained. We played through the winter and it has probably some of the best draining fairways you will find anywhere in the Portland metro area. The cart staff are also great. Mary and Ali are some of our favorites. Without getting to carried away, we always enjoy our meals and food service at the restaurant. Many times we call our orders in at the turn so that we can eat on the fly. I've played all over the country and I am very comfortable calling Langdon my home away from home.
I cannot recommend this golf course enough. I know the proximity to the highway might turn some off but the noise is really only an issue on a couple of holes, and it's not very loud even then. Great course, great drink cart, and it's one of the few courses left in Oregon that will let you smoke cigars!! Thanks guys.
Really enjoy playing at Langdon farms. Well maintained and price is great for the course.
Very nice brunch
always in great condition
Mostly easy-going fast service with Lottery
Had a great experience at Langdon Farms as it is a beautiful course to play. I was truly impressed with the service in the pro shop as Keith Lee checked us in for our round, but realized I forgot an important piece of equipment...shoes! He was awesome and helped find a really nice pair (and a good deal to boot), so I was ready to go hit'm in no time. Thanks Keith for your help and thank you Langdon Farms for a great day on the links!
Friendly, smiling, helpful staff make the place a fun golf event. Course in great shape even the forward tee boxes were nice. Highly recommend this facility!
Very noisy, my lunch was only average she hasn't. Still a good place to meet and I will order something different next time.
Crab & shrimp Louis. It was o.k. crab was flakey, I prefer the occasional lump/chunk.
Great public course. Hard to score well but not extremely penal. Course is always in amazing condition. They are always proactive and the landscaping is the equivalent of any country club in the area. The greens are always in prefect condition and they can be quite fast. They have a problem with lack of sand in the traps that will require a major reconstruction of all the traps. My best advice is to stay out of them. The staff is friendly and if you are a Farm Club member the green fees are quite reasonable. Most of the players are fairly accomplished so that most rounds are between 3:50 and 4:20. If you are early on a weekday you should be able to beat that time. The driving range is well maintained and the balls are quite good. They need a sand trap practice area and could use a short game area available to all.
Great place to host an event
We had an amazing experience at Langdon Farms for our son’s post-wedding brunch. The patio setting was spectacular and the entire event went perfectly. McKenna and her team were incredible - I can’t recommend Langdon Farms highly enough!!
Portions were small, and bathrooms we're out or nearly out of toilet paper. This was our second visit and the first time the toilets were plugged up. I would get a manager that checks his or her employee's work just because people are getting continually lazy.
Don't miss playing this course, it is beautiful and the greens are very good, plush fairways. Club atmosphere at a good price.
Staff a step above meiocre
A reliable stop for lunch when we are in the area. Unpretentious and with youthful service. Food is reliably decent but nothing to be blown away by, though I am still grieving that they changed the menu and took away the Cajun Chicken Mac and Cheese and the house-made "Frips".
Awesome course and really great restaurant. Kalei was our waitress and she was great. Highly recommend this place!
The course was divine, the staff looked beautiful, and I only lost four balls! I recommend a sweater or a soft pullover if you're planning to go later in the evening. Watch out for packs of small song birds, resentful crows, and the occasional cracked out squirrel. There's also a strange marsh on hole 3, I'm not sure whether something dwells in the marsh or if it was the maintaince man fixing a faulty pipe. Forgive me, my eyesight is sub-par. Love, Matthew
One of the best run public courses in the Portland Metro. Great service inside and out!
twilight rate was very reasonable. Great looking course. Well maintained. Everyone I spoke with that worked there were great! I'm a big fan of great customer service. I'll take great customer service over anything these days. I see myself coming back during my once a month trips to the area. Outside of the freeway running along the edges, the scenery was great. The barn houses (or whatever the actual term they use) are pretty cool.
Nice golf course. Always clean people are always really friendly. Fairways and greens are always in good shape.
Always a good time here.. great service and great golf. Enjoyed the day!
We had a professional meeting in The Loft. The space was ok, but the noise coming from below was loud and distracting. We really could have used some kind of accordion door to knock out the sound a bit. Food was ok.
Langdon Farms was the perfect setting for our August wedding and photos! The venue was absolutely beautiful, food was great and the staff was amazing! Thank you Lisa, for making our wedding day such a seamless event!
Course is beautiful. Clean, well maintained.
Great place to play golf
Great service and food!
Wonderful break from I-5 traffic for lunch. Didnt have time for golf this trip.
It was my first time to play on a golf course and it was fun. The atmosphere was good. My food experience wasn't so great for breakfast food because I'm a pescatarian.
I have been a Farm Card member at Langdon Farms for over 5 years. There is no other place I like to play other than the Farm. Luke Huebsch and his Staff do an amazing job making you feel at home. I am a year round golfer and there is no other place in the Portland area that drains like Langdon in the rainy season. The food and drinks are top notch as well. You cant go wrong playing Langdon Farms. Overall 5 star experience.
Always a great experience! This time I had the chicken salad and Kalei was our server. She was friendly and we received our food promptly. No complaints!
Beautiful well kept course. Great staff. About 4 holes have interstate noise but it's still a great course.
Beautiful golf course!!!
Langdon farms is the best course in Portland pound for pound. The staff is great, super friendly and accommodating. The staff is great from the GM(David Stead) to the pro shop to the tee box. Specifically Aaron, Luke and Kevin "Honeycutt" Honeyman in the Pro Shop and Mr. Conerly out on the tee box, those four get it, again they're super accommodating. The course is in amazing shape year round. It drains better than any course in the area. The pro shop is also great, they seem to offer more then any other pro shop in the area in classy way, it's not like a flee market. The presentation is clean yet there is plenty to choose from. Finally the restaurant offers great food in a pleasant atmosphere. Friday night they have a bonus of live music in the restaurant. The only thing I wish was better was pace of play. Sometimes on the weekend the pace of play in the afternoon gets a little slow, I wish the marshals would be a little more forceful, I feel someone out on the 3rd tee with a clock would be helpful along with someone driving around policing pace of play beyond the 3rd hole. But that being said the great things about Langdon far overshadow that one issue. Far and away my favorite course in Portland.
We paid $800 to play here in a golf tournament and we're inandated with grounds Keepers with very loud Machinery at almost every hole.
Beautiful venue
Water tasted funny
Great food, very nice staff, beautiful facility and grounds. Highly recommend.
Such a great course!
Review for customer service: Attended a wedding and forgot my sports coat and sunglasses. Called the next day, they found the items. Talked to Shannon Rost and she mailed me the items (Denver, CO). Great customer service, thankful for all of those involved in getting my items back to me.
Beautiful course to play and great place to eat. It over looks the event barn and bunch of greens
Had lunch today as the Fish and Chips are always great. Took two friends who had never been to restaurant or grounds. At ages 83 and 92, they enjoyed the food, great service and especially the enormous hanging flower baskets!! So colorful!!!
The staff did a great job with our party
Very nice facility and great foods staff was young but courteous
Very personable server, great food prepared just as I asked at reasonable prices. I will most definitely return.
Went for happy hour 9/29. Elsa was our waitress and she was fabulous. Happy hour food was very good.
Nice layout with good drainage in Winter. I rate this course as one of the top courses in Portland metro area.
Great place for a large gathering.
I play at Langdon regularly and it is a very good course and by far the driest course in the area during the winter. I used to be a country club guy and I've played all the private golf course in the area, and I can honestly say that Langdon is manicured as well as any private course in the area. The guys in the pro-shop are great, there's no shortage in customer service. Luke is very helpful and accommodating. You want to play and don't have a tee time, no worries Ray will do his very best to get you out. Great job guys, I'm proud to belong to the Langdon family.
As usual, and my experience 99% of the time, great staff, facility, conditions, and marshalling of the slow play three groups in front of us. Great job!
This place is spectacular to just walk thru . The teriyaki bowl was superp.. golf was great and challenging. But no fringe here to help stop balls you get on the green :( . The palce is breath taking. Sure hope to visit again on a tuesday or friday.. hole 3 par 3 9 iron good 6 iron needs a closer look (at what club im using oops) in the trees
First rate course, facilities, and staff. And best winter fairways in the Portland area. Pro Shop is run by Pros. The restaurant is surprisingly good as well - try the spinach and pear salad. Full service bar (wicked long island ice tea) and the "cart girl" can usually whip up Bloody Mary for you if you no longer care about your score.
Absolutely beautiful wedding venue with great service. It would definitely escalate the profile of the venue if they invested in building permanent restrooms for the red barnhouse area. Quality of the food was excellent and there were lots of areas for picture taking.
Lost our reservation.
Beautiful place Pretty Damn dry for as wet as it's been
Boring Bob Cupp course with a real corporate feel to the place. Greens are usually in pretty good shape but a lot of the course is right next to I-5, so it's not exactly a relaxing walk through nature. I much prefer Stone Creek in this area (usually for about half the price, too...)
Meh.
I play at Langdon at least once a week. The course is always in top shape and the greens are some of the best you will play. The staff is always friendly and helpful. One of the best golf experiences around.
This is by far the finest course in the Portland area for the value. I have played this course consistently for the past 4 years all year round and the owners are always putting money in the course to keep it in excellent condition. They have fixed fairways that had previously not drained as well in the winter and they are continually doing other maintenance too. This is a very fun course to play and you can make it as easy or challenging as you want by choosing different sets of tees to play from. Go out and enjoy this course and you will not be sorry. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that they play Country and Western music on their sound system.
Great ribs! Good service.
Langdon Farms is playing perfect....as usual. Twilight price is great. Played twice this week!
Officiated a wedding. Helpful staff. Nice grounds.
Food is attractively presented and very tasty
It doesn't get much better than this. Great people. Great facility. Great community.
Langdon Farms Grill has a great lunch menu. There were a lot of options to choose from & the price was reasonable. The food was great & our server was friendly & attentive. The only complaint is that the room was a little chilly.
Stopped for the night as part of Harvest Hosts in our RV. Had dinner at the restaurant. It was great and being a Friday there was relaxing live music. The Golf course looked great, but I didn't have the opportunity to play. Overall great ambiance and a place we'll come back to.
A well maintained course just off I-5. The only negative is the traffic noise on a few holes that boarder the highway, but it didn't bother me too much. I will definitely play it again.
Vacationing in the area when I played here. Best course I played for the money. Other than view, enjoyed this as much as Pumpkin Ridge. Really happy with design and quality. Good food after play. A must play.
Great bar food and happy hour prices are great. Their meeting room has great accoustics.
Good service. Good food. Need good weather.
The food was excellent
Nice track. 18th fairway crosscut though. Would be 4-5 stars but; Need to keep wedding guests under control. Played into 18 at 8pm with 3-4 groups behind us and there about 5 kids playing on the green. Also have wedding guests grabbing dirty carts and racing up 16 & 18th hole. Having had to drive to get the kids off the green personally as we're playing a deciding hole, I complained to an employee who was there, his response, "well they paid for this space" Pretty sure that doesn't include the 18th green?! It's a par 5 were playing in from 220 plus. Imagine one of them got hit. Sure it'd have been on us then. What a joke. Ruined a nice round
No idea,never been there.
Delightful 2018 Valentines Day dinner. Reservations were required. $65 for a couple for a fixed four-course menu. Wine extra. We'll do it again next year.
Good food, slow great service!
Unique meeting area.
Service, course condition, food, staff, prices are all top shelf.
Great golf course and staff, recently ordered a set of clubs through them and had great service. Andrew was courteous and patient while dealing with my indecision in the process and ultimately fit me into a great set. It was a smooth experience, would recommend.
They have a wonderful area to sit outside on a nice day to have lunch. The menu is good, the staff is attentive, and the overall grounds are well maintained! It's nice to be able to watch the golfers which enjoys a delicious meal! I'm a big fan of the taco salad!
Loved food and service.
A great golf.course that can challenge all types of levels with 4 or 5 sets of tees, rolling fairways and big, undulating greens. The staff is super helpful and the Marshalls are fantastic as they push you and are present, but not pushy. The dining seems good, but I didn't try it. A must play.
Fantastic golf experience for a public course. It is always immaculately maintained and well landscaped, and has the feel of a private country club, for a public course price. It is a challenging, and fun lay out for a links-style course. I enjoy the fact that I get to use all of the clubs in my bag over 18 holes. Even the golf range is enjoyable, as you can hit off the grass when weather allows, and under cover during more inclement/colder weather. All the staff are very professional and friendly, and remember their frequent guests. Manager Luke Huebsch is always helpful and willing to accomodate players needs. Great golf course!
Excellent Golf, great Clubhouse
Very nice public course. Not too challenging but still fun. Nice location on an old farm. Very well maintained fairways, greens and paths. Water hazards are nicely landscaped and nicely placed trees and Pampas Grass.
Nice Golf course pro shop and restaurant
Beautiful golf course. Atrocious pace of play, 10 minutes between every shot and never under 5hrs for 18
Beautiful course, helpful staff. Played in charity fundraiser for IAFF 1660 scholarship program and was very happy with all the services for this event.
Nice day for a wedding at this place.
Great Portland area golf course, one of my local favorites.
This place was beautiful. Attended a catered event here. Beautiful location. We had no problem finding a parking spot, even with a large event going on. The facility was clean, and beautiful landscaping.
Kevin Honeyman, assistant golf professional, was spectacular. He helped our Dental Foundation of Oregon's main fundraising event, and managed the day without a hiccup. Great MC, and most professional. Thank you! Dr. Amanda Rice (Tooth Taxi)
Awesome golfing experience. Very friendly staff.
Put together couple production towers for a event their looks like a sweet golf course and nice restaurant, staff is extra friendly. Not so far of the unbeaten path it's just half mile off I-5
The atmosphere was beautiful, the grounds were breathtaking, but this is not a restaurant I would eat at again. Despite not being very busy the service was incredibly slow. Our order was wrong and the food was frozen, processed, and deep fried. Very disappointing.
I have to give it a 5.... it's the only place I've ever hit a legitimate 'Eagle'. But even with out that, it's still a great course. Perfect for tournaments or a moderately good golfer. Fun, not snobby yet challenging and interesting. Been there dozens of times and would hit it tomorrow if asked.
Great solo artist performing for dinner.
What a great, fun, well manicured place!!! Great driving range, greens were sweet, layout was fun and very diverse and challenging. AND the twilight rate was like $24!!! Crazy talk!!
It’s a beautiful course with an excellent staff. I recently attended a tournament there and was left stranded at a hole by the tournament sponsor. After finally hiking back to the clubhouse one of the staff immediately grabbed a cart and took me back to the hole so I could get my materials loaded up. She went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. Kudos to the management and staff that take such good care of their guests.
Nice track, greens were great.
I have been coordinating a golf tournament of 24 guys for the last dozen years or so. We have played 50-60 courses over that period of time and Langdon Farms is our top pick. The course conditions, professional staff, food and drink options, and value are all superb. Setting up the round was a piece of cake and the day of our round we were treated wonderfully. Langdon Farms is a must play if you are golfing in the Portland area.
Wonderful looking golf course. Was there for a wedding. Beautiful venue, awesome staff, and very relaxed atmosphere.
Played a round and hit a bucket of balls last week. Overall it was one of the best experiences I've had at a golf course. I accidentally showed up for my tee time on the wrong day. Bailey from the pro shop was extremely accommodating and still managed to get me out on the course!
Great event for youth hockey and Dornbeckers.
Customer service in the golf shop was not on par with the rest of the facilities. The golf course itself is always in great condition and fun to play. Best public course I have seen in the Portland area. They have fair prices for a great round!
Stopped on the way home from PDX after a cruise on Viking so the bar was high. Breakfast fruit was fresh and eggs "over easy" were prepared to perfection. Thanks to Lucy for attentive service. A surprise find we will share with friends.
This facility is certainly the best public golf course in the Portland area and easily within the top 5 in the northwest. From the facilities GM to the pros and staff, you will enjoy an excellent golf experience whether you are doing a corporate event or a boys/girls foursome weekend. Get ready for a private club experience.
A great place.
Not as nice as advertised
I had a blast playing here. Course was in great shape, play was moving quick, and the course was gorgeous. So many interesting and fun holes. The pro shop was terrific and the staff was friendly. Absolutely worth the slightly higher than average green fees.
Deb is spot-on in the service department. She remembers my name and my drink. I feel like I'm visiting a friend instead of having lunch. Always a wonderful experience.
Great venue for special occasions.
Ate at the clubhouse and had probably the best friend chicken of my life. Tender, juicy, perfectly flavored! Everyone around the table enjoyed their meals too, thanks to recommendations from our great server Andrea. If I lived anywhere close, this would be a weekly tradition!
We have been regular customers of Langdon Farm Grill for a number of years but our last couple of experiences have not been up to the standard we have come to expect. The quality of the food has definitely declined. We were disappointed to say the least.
Awesome course
Langdon Farms is an excellent golf course. I personally believe that the condition of the course is better there than any other course in the Portland area, including other top-tier courses like Pumpkin Ridge and The Reserve. I also am a fan of the design and believe that it is unique and fun. As far as the staff and facilities go, I feel treated like a member of a country club. Granted that I do play there quite a bit, which is why I think that most of the staff knows who I am now - but still, they go out of their way to help me out.
Super fun place to play golf, you will not be disappointed. Great happy hour deals in their restaurant as well.
Fun time great weather !
Great staff and facility.
My wife and I really enjoyed this golf course. It is links style with a lot of beauty and good framing of the holes. You don't feel like you are on top of the other holes. The course has some interesting approach shots and par 3's that are magnificent. The staff is friendly and glad you are playing. This is a great value and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Always great at the grill. Husband loves the golf. Events in the red barn are great! Terrific venue.
Great food. Great service. Scenic
Delicious food in restaurant. Great wait staff.
There are views of the golf course. They have a happy hour menu. Great place to have lunch and dinner. I recommend the fish and chips.
Great location for dinner. Live Jazz every Friday 6-8pm..
I have brought my family to the restaurant at Langdon Farms for lunch and dinner, and had a pleasant experience each meal. At our first dinner there, the chef came out to ask us a question about the preparation of our toddler's meal -- delightfully proactive! Subsequent lunchtime visits weren't quite as astonishing, but the staff was friendly and the food tasty. FYI a "frip" is a housemade french fry shaped like a potato chip, and is a fun thing to try, though next time I will ask if they can go light on the salty seasoning.
Great staff good value and food has always been good
Father's Day Breakfast was fantastic. Great price, food and staff. Thank you to Allison who helped us with anything we needed!
Good food. Great staff. Lovely jazz band playing during dinner.
Beautiful setting. My Brother got married here. Very accommodating of food allergies. Spendy. Great staff.
Langdon Farms is the best wedding venue! We just had my daughter’s wedding there and the experience exceeded our expectations. Lisa was our contact person at Langdon and she was truly amazing. She was responsive, reliable, on top of every detail, fun to work with, contributed great ideas, and went out of her way to make the event run smoothly. Both my daughter and I came away feeling so grateful that we found Langdon Farms for her wedding. The setting was beautiful, reasonably priced, the food and service was good and Lisa and the staff were so helpful, friendly and easy to work with. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it! Thank you Langdon Farms for making our family’s special day so great!
Good quality food and service. A little over priced. Has a bar and plenty of seating.
Great golf
A beautiful golf course! One of my favorite courses in the area. To top it off their food is amazing. I love playing here and also attending events. Top notch staff! The GM is phenomenal.
Don't waste your money or time at this course! Had a foursome that all shot in the 80s. Had marshalls swarming the entire round. Twosome behind us never had to wait or pushed us. However, Marshall told us we needed to pick up the pace of play so the twilight golfers would not be impacted. How could twilight golfers be impacted if no one behind us ever had to wait? Keith Lee (employee) is clueless about golf etiquette and course management. I've played all over the world and have never experienced anything like the way this course treats its customers. Will certainly not be back.
Great place for tournaments. They do a great job maintaining the grounds
One of the best public tracks around.
Mostly straight fairways, but I don't mind, I'm not that good. Not a super challenging course. Extremely well kept and manicured. I love playing there.
Nice links style course. Drains well in winter, greens are smooth and fast in the summer. However, the greens are often sandy and it can be hard to get on since they host so many corporate events. Geens fees aren't cheap.
Langdon Farms is hands down the best course for the price in Oregon. The practice facilities and course are always in tip top shape, the bar and restaurant are phenomenal, and the staff inside the club house treat you like you're at a private club. Specifically, Luke Huebsch has gone the extra mile to help me coordinate prizes for a past golf trip, always remembers my name and greets me with a smile when I check in. Keep up the good work Langdon!
course was in great condition. friendly staff. cons - freeway noise on some holes and smelly bathrooms in the cart area were yuck. but course was nice.
My brother & I regularly golf Saturday mornings and I would like to let Langdon Farms know what an asset Ray Phelps is to your staff. He surpasses expectation as a starter. Besides getting us out on time, our conversations with him are priceless. I want to extend our shout out to the other course marshals (John John, Big Mike, Wild Bill, Dan, Dennis & the others we know by face). The front desk staff are also welcoming. The greens keeper and his crew does great job with the course along with the young morning crew that sets up the driving range. These are the reasons that we chose to golf at Langdon Farms every week.
Great day golfing ... beautiful course!
Beautiful golf course just south of Wilsonville, Oregon. Have visited in the past for father's Day brunch, and the food was delicious. Also just went to a wedding and the Red Barn was spacious and perfect for the rustic theme of the wedding. Staff all seemed to be attentive and friendly.
Had a 20 person Birthday luncheon 1 week ago mid-week. Brandon, the Food and Beverage Mgr took my reservation and created a wonderful setup. He even assisted our server in taking and fulfilling our orders. Our server was attentive and they allowed us to bring in a personal Birthday Cake, providing desert plates and utensils. The food was great too A great experience!
Andrew, Jamie, Sydney and all the golf shop front desk are super awesome in being accommodating every request. Langdon you have some awesome staff there!
Went Tuesday to hear live music. Large, spacious venue, high ceilings, nice staff, great beers on tap.
Nice place for lunch. Good food, reasonable prices.
Beautiful place to play golf and have your wedding or XV years.
I love Langdon Farms! It is one of the reasons why I have not joined a country club. The greens run true. The staff is excellent and I get a good speed of play. Get the farm card! Well worth it if you play there more than 4 times a year.
Wonderful and beautiful setting! Really good food and terrific, friendly staff! Thanks to all of you.
We meet here for a Guy's night out once a month. Large room easy for the whole table 8-10 guys to speak and be heard. Service and staff good.
Watching Ally hit balls and having a snack.
