This Golf belongs to the category of Golf course.
I've never played golf or tennis here, but the golf course is well kept and pretty with the large trees. Although the restaurant is not the up scale steak place it was, the food is still good and staff is helpful and friendly. Call ahead for reservations as it is still a popular destination.
Enjoy my walk around golf course like many people do daily.
A nice place to go for a walk
Not to bad. Service was slow. Sat for 10 minutes before we got water. The food was good. Nice environment.
Awesome mb e place for running. Golf and dinning
Super friendly folks running the show here. The starter was really great about my colleague running a little late and he even made sure the beverage cart caught us on the second tee. I'd love to come back again soon!
Sweet lil courses, cool brewery rite there too, lost my sandwedge tho....bummer.
Great time
Nice to go to with trees In the city and jog
Top notch quality staff... Courteous and professional.
A little sad to see the old ringside closed down, but during summer months this is a great place to bring your kids and enjoy the outdoors without getting too far out of the city. If you can golf, that's even better!
Not good for me
Great golf course and the green rates are extremely reasonable. They have all activities for everyone. Also, highly recommend you consider trying a golf board. It'll change your life
Eastside's Jewel. Golf, Soccer golf, Racquetball, & more and a smooth, relaxing patio experience at the bar.
Good
Glendoveer is a great public course! The course especially the West Course is a superb layout utilizing the natural terrain and the numerous beautiful Fir, Pine and Oak trees that line the fairways. The staff does a superb job of making its many golfers feel at home and welcome. Strongly suggest teeing it up and enjoying Glendoveer GC!
Gr8 place with covered driving range and two courses at friendly prices.
People there were great. The course seemed to be well maintained. The greens however could have been cut down a bit shorter. Overall I had a good time playing the course while I was in town from the Tri Cities. Not overly challenging by any means. Pretty short and straight fairways, only a couple times were there blind shots.
Home course, always love it there, shank or low score. East course is beautiful with all the old growth trees. New restaurant has a good happy hour, they always put on the Ms or Hawks games!
The most popular place in Portland for a relaxing walk around the golf tournament. The walk way is soft and accessible in any weather cause is cover with bark dust. Use to be a Mobil toilet at entrance for public use but disappeared. The air use to be better when Portland was a less popular city with less traffic around.
Actually ate at Von Ebert brew pub. Prices a bit high but service and food was great.
It's a great 5ee off
Great burger at fair price.vicki great bartender
A beautiful golf course surrounded by a walking path of bark that makes exercising a low impact thrill. You couldn't ask for a more lovely environment. Highly recommend playing a round of golf or just enjoy a nice stroll around the walking path.
Great track around course to walk, great driving range
Always kept up nicely
I really enjoyed playing here. Nice old growth trees, even saw a coyote walk through course.
Really well maintained trails and I've never almost been hit by any golf balls. Just wish the trail was a little longer so I didn't have to do multiple loops! Also, I understand why dogs can't be there but I would get more use out of it if the dog could join.
This is a Awesome course very well maintained and friendly staff
Peacefully place to jog or walk
Good golf course, like the fact that there is actually two different courses here.
Golf course is great, good pace challenging greens
Great.
Glendoveer hosted a Blood Mobile! I attempted to give blood (not successful), and in the process had the opportunity of walking through Glendoveer's well appointed store.
Great course!
I'm very grateful to walk with my son in here. Thank you for creating this place.
This is a very new hot spot in the area. Get there early because they get packed very fast. Food is great! They have a good selection of beers in house that you can get to go which they will can for you. It's top notch fresh beer .
2 mile loop is nice and soft. Perfect place for an easy/tempo run.
Just ok, for a quick 9 in the neighborhood. A bit expensive for what it is though.
Course was in great shape and they constantly have discounts and specials. Nice open fairways, perfect for someone just starting in the game. Would have a appreciated a drink/refreshment cart on the course. Only reason for 4/5 stars.
Great place to golf!!
Love the driving range here!! it's a bit out of the city, but it's not stuffy or pretentious, making it a very peaceful and fun experience every time.
One of my favorite public golf courses
Coming back for west 18.
I enjoy the run here. It's a big golf course with about 2 miles around.
Great place for a stroll
Majestic tree lined old school Golf Course. Good value, gets a lot of play.
Love this place! Range is good, course is well kept, prices are fair.
Glendoveer offers an excellent public course that is well maintained. Reasonably priced with or without a cart. The course has lots of hills and most holes are lined by trees. Driving range for $1 with a round of golf - make sure you pay for the range balls when you pay for your round. No breakfast is available but Von Ebert’s is available after 11am for lunch or dinner.
Course is decent but golfing here on a Saturday to find they have tee times every 5 minutes. Super slow. Will likely not be back on a weekend.
Nice outdoor patio, good service, food and wine always enjoyable.
Attended a community event for children. Very poorly executed. My child didn’t get to participate and she was very sad. It was disappointing at best.
Its not upscale and very inviting for new players
Great golf course for beginners and novices alike
Never been, but my brother plays here. We pick him up regularly.
One of the oldest an most beautiful golf courses located in SE Portland with giant evergreens and hills. A great place to hit a quick bucket of balls during lunch.
Nice very nice I hit to large buckets and was pretty much by myself
Weekly lessons are great, driving range under cover and heaters during cold weather
I love the 2 mile nature walk around the golf course!
Very decent golf course especially considering it's in the middle of East Portland. Pro shop, driving range are all nice. After a round of golf go to the ringside grill for happy hour. Very convenient and moderately will taken care of course.
The trail is what I use
Great place to learn how to love and hate something at the same time. Also, hold my beer.
Are you sure we went here?
Great wings, burger and beer selection!
Love this course big 4 par. With straightforward fairways.
Beautiful spot.
Great golf course with an east and west course and a driving range. They have a well maintained 2 mile wood chip fitness trail that goes around it owned by Metro which is great for runners and walkers. A lone coyote can sometimes be spotted roaming the course.
Beautiful trail! Well maintained, and love the fact that there aren't any pet's loose or on the course. Made running so much more enjoyable.
Fun place for large bucket of balls to practice with for nine bucks..fun date..
Great double decker driving range
Glendoveer Golf Course is a true Portland favor with beautiful trees and an absolutely stunning Golf Course, in fact there are two full 18-hole courses. Always well kept.... there's a part of my weekly Health regimen I like you go up to Glendoveer and hit a bucket of balls on their two-tiered covered driving range which is totally awesome during the late afternoon when the sun is real warm it's rather cool in the shade at the driving range. And this is not a makeshift let's throw some mats on the grass and hit some balls kind of driving range it's a full-fledged fully stocked driving range or you can really let outs and Club. It's an absolute grade social moment for me as I take my son Kevin with me and we share some weekly thoughts and memories while we are smacking a bucket of balls. The other wonderful feature about Glendoveer is the track that covers the entire acreage of the facility on the outer Rim where you can walk I believe one point eight miles all the way around on soft sawdust trails...... and it's absolutely free. There is a parking lot on the north east corner 4 walkers. Glendoveer also boasts a beautiful indoor tennis facility. I also want to mention that the staff at Glendoveer is always very receptive and very helpful which is a huge Plus since customer service isn't almost non-existent at many golf courses. I love Glendoveer Golf Course and highly recommend it to anyone looking to get outside and enjoy the summer weather.
Great course. Very reasonably priced.
My family and I have walked this trail many times. The trail is covered in soft bark chips that are nice to walk on but can be difficult to push a jogging stroller on. 3/4 of the walking/jogging path is fenced which is great if you have kiddos! Lots of trees keep the trail comfortable in very hot weather. There's a drinking fountain about midway down the west trail. Lots of benches to stop and sit on. It is maintained well and used year round!
Very nice course, friendly staff, great service at the restaurant.
Good place to golf, eat, and hike the trail.
Love the walk
I love the path for walking!
An awesome place for recreation like golfing and walking.
I love walking around Glendoveer I have done this for years today a coyote came awfully close to me for the first time kind of scared me but I kept on walking.
Great trail for walking, jogging, or running
Been coming here for years awesome place to exercise!!
Tuesday golf with my friends from Frieghtliner. Great group of guys. Thanks Stan the Man.
Tried out the stand up cart. It was fun once you got the hang of it..
Fun place and was decently kept.
This course is nice. The west side is more for beginners and easy. And the east is more skilled player. The restaurant there is good. Great happy hour. Plus there's a trail you can run around the perimeter. I believe it's a 3 mile run for one lap around.
Walking trail is well kept. Squirrels are out in the nice weather. Flowers and trees are blooming.
I only run there, no tennis.
Nice walk
Area has gotten better with the opening of Von Ebert.
The dinner salad was not good. It should have had more veggies on it For $10.00 all it was is lettuce & a few tomatoes & cucumbers Should add beets, carrots, celery and cheese.
Love this trail. Very close and convenient location.
Great jogging location I recommend
This has to be the most amazing PUBLIC golf course I’ve ever played. They have 2 18 hole courses. (East & West) I have to say that they both have some amazing holes. My favorite Las are # 2 West & # 5 East. It’s the most amazing feeling to be in the middle of the city and find this oasis.
This has long been a favorite of mine. I'd give more stars but my last visit was very negative. There was a frost delay. I know that it wasn't their fault, but how staff handled it was their fault. The starters were very disorganized with the delayed start. The pro shop informed our group that we would be first off when the course opened. The starter then had us 4th on his list, so we expected to be 4th despite what we were initially told. Before we knew it, we were the 7th group off. The starter really didn't seem to have any real reason for us getting bumped.
Front nine is good for walking, back nine is not.
Beautiful place to come and walking and golfing and a good meal the same time
Great day for playing golf!
Great golf course, but the service seems to be hit or miss.
Great food, beers & cocktails
very friendly staff, clean restaurant, delicious food. a bit too expensive though because it's on a golf course, so they expect a certain demographic (hence the 4 stars)
lots of issues with management and winter golf for seniors is very limited due cart restrictions on the course that are not done at any other course in the area. Golf course itself is in the best condition it has been in 30 years. There is no food available here other than pre-packaged sandwiches (YUK) and to be blunt, the owners of the course, Metro government is just not interested in improvements or addressing any of the issues with the course management (Courseco)
We were there to eat at Von Eberts. The steak bites and fries are delicious. They also have a a chocolate and raspberry desert that is extremely good. It can get a lttle loud inside when busy but during nice weather you can sit on the patio which has a good view of the golf course.
Last time I played the East course was 5 years ago. Wow, the improvements are very noticeable, nice work guys.
Went to eat there at Von and Ebert brewery it was pretty good food. They need more staff though. Not enough server's none could be bothered wth anything and our server disappeared for 20 minutes very unprofessional. Other than that the food was good.
This piece of heaven is in the middle of the city! Never fails to make me happy when I get a bucket of balls and hit the driving range, or go play twlight hours on the course. Average pricing, great for novice to expert players! Also Its a great place to keep your skills sharpened! Keep an Eye out for the Nike Camps and tour Events here they are a blast to go to!
Great tennis, with a terrific restaurant attached
This is my favorite walking trail.
Great place for walking/jogging/running. No pets/dogs allowed. 2 mile loop around the golf course. Driving range is good too. Von Ebert Brewing is on site for fine dining and good happy hour.
Great place to golf, run, and walk and food is great
I use the walking path at Glendoveer. Well maintained, pleasant place to get exercise. Highly recommended.
The new management at Glendoveer has improved not only the course but the way they treat the players. The greens are coming in nice!
I came here on a beautiful day and I really enjoyed myself.
Great golf course in the middle of Gresham.
Fun
Very wet still, but most courses are right now. We played the west side which is pretty easy but play was very very very slow, over 5 hours. Appeared to be a lot new golfers that might have needed some encouragement to play ready golf.
Always enjoy walking the trail.
Staff is friendly. Can be crowded at times lile any course but the staff amd MOST of the players are pretty chill and laid back. New piwer carts as of last season and a dtiving range on site as well
Great course for a great price
The most magical golf course
For those who like golf and those who like nature. I am not much of a golf player but the walking path around the golf course is pretty nice. It’s covered in bark chips so it’s nice to run on or just go for a walk through the trees. I believe it is about two and a half miles around the course.
Nice course for the price.
Nice place to walk or jog with a one-mile bark dust trail. Pretty with lots of trees.
All beautiful wide range of Nature ❤
Great shape for as many people play through there. Definitely top 3 of city courses for value and environment.
Very pretty and big place within the heart of ne Portland. Big golf course with walking trails that go completely around entire course. You can see several different types of local wildlife. Many different options for parking.
Fortunately, not many people have discovered it but the locals which makes it special
Decent course for sure, great brewery on site for pre/post golf libations.
Nice golf course and walking/ running trail.
The new managers have fixed up the course a bit, but it had lost the charm it had before. Staff are not nearly as friendly, and the last three times I've been here I was turned away for maintenance or frost. I now only golf here if I can't go elsewhere.
This is our USTA home club because PTC didn't have any spots open but I love it because I've won here!
Glendoveer is so much more than a golf course, and place to play tennis. For locals like myself it is a little piece of nature nestled amidst the neighborhoods of a bustling city. For the truly dedicated athletes it's a great place to run, excetera. As for people like myself, it is a beautiful place to go for a walk with my family on a sunny day.
Never been, but my brother plays here. We pick him up regularly. Very clean grounds and most of the visitors are friendly. Staff too.
My favorite golf course in the region and I've played almost all of them, public and private. Great course for hickory golf.
Nice 2.4 mile trail to walk.
Overpriced golf (guess I'm SPOILED down here ... I can get on almost anywhere for <$20 for 1I w/cart!).
Place has been around seems like forever.
Golf course conditions suck, bunkers are hard as rocks and they won't put more sand in them.. there's no cart path so if it's raining they won't let out golf carts.. most of the time it's a hassle.. go play Broadmoor instead
I find this a very convenient location for me and the fact there are two levels of courses is great. The East side course is a bit more challenging with more hills to hit into on par 5s. The West course is easier to walk and can be considered easier in terms of driving distances needed. You'll probably score about 2 or 3 strokes better on the west. Could use some cart paths for easier access in the winter.
Came here for the first time last weekend and it was beautiful. Really good walk and with a little snow this place was majestic.
Excellent walk.
Beautiful. That's one word to describe. Magnificent would be another, but that would laying it on a bit heavy. This is a nice place, fair prices with a great be pub.
Enjoyed the happy hour appetizers, and salads were delicious too...
A really busy public course. Our tee time was 6 am and groups were already away ahead of us. Every green had a ton of unrepaired ball marks. I understand this isn't wholly the fault of grounds maintenance. It is annoying all the same. Most tee boxes are pretty chewed up as well. Again the result of the sheer volume of humanity going across them. We played the east course which was billed as tighter and longer. It may be longer but there is simply not enough barriers between holes for this course to be billed as tight. There is seldom any danger of losing a ball on errant shots. I played poorly and still didnt lose a single ball. Sand is the only real hazard on this course. It is river sand so you really have to dig in to get underneath a ball. If price is your primary driver in choosing a course this is the course for you. We probably won't come back soon despite being relatively inexpensive.
Beautiful grounds for a wonderful 2 mile walk through nature
Great course. Challenging. Maintained well. Lost Mt.Scott golf course to development. Closest course near Me. 72 holes I believe.
The new pub is nice.
Awesome place for a walk or run. The scenery is outstanding!
Husband and I have came twice in the last week, both times the golf ball machine has been closed. Really sucks because we've came during business hours, seems like they've just decided to close down earlier than they're supposed to. Now I understand that the weather isn't too nice right now, but if you're going to have it say that it's open until 9:45pm you should have it open until then. Thanks
Nice place to take a walk. There is a 2 mile loop around the golf coarse. No dogs allowed

Played here many, many times and it's a great course. 2 full 18 hole courses here. Well maintained, well laid out and not expensive.
Tried golfing for my first time here. Went to the driving range and the chip & putt area for the past 6 weekends and Loved it! I Finally got out on the course and played twilight and got a cart for $35. Best 3 hours Ive spent in a long time! its so scenic too! Schedule a tee off time, played East instead of west. It was a blast! Can't wait for my next day off to go back!!
My go to running trail. Super nice and clean, you do not really have to worry about crime either.
Walk this every day we live this trail
Always walk around the course with my family. Have used the driving range once and had a blast.
This is a surprisingly huge coarse. In fact, there are two sides to it and 36 holes total. Very wide spread when you're actually golfing, but seeing the place from the parking lot gives it a smaller perception. The greens and fairways are done well. Not many surprises, but some fun golf can be played. You don't feel rushed when playing because it's so massive, the players get to spread out a bit than most courses. Price wise, it's slightly above average in cost, but you don't feel cheated when playing. It's worth the price. Wish it'd have a bit more difficult fairways and pars. A little more interesting obstacles would make this place above most others. It's significantly better than anything in the area though.
Walk the track every Sunday. Love it.
It's a nice golf course and fairly interesting holes considering that we thought it would be almost totally flat. As it turns out there are some elevation is on the course. It's well-groomed and the people are very nice. The carts are in good shape. Food and service at the ringside Grill was also very good.
