Chris Dorey

One of the nicest Golf courses I have ever been too....oops wrong turn...

Corey Albers

One of the best gems on the Eastside of the river

Stein Says

Amongst the most impressive municipal courses I’ve ever seen...I’ve seen a lot of them!

Mark Hinrichs

I just love this place. It's two blocks from my house and they have a great restaurant and bar.

Allen Lambert

A public course that the neighborhood thinks is private. Greens dont hold. Pins are always placed in rediculous spots, slowing the pace down. Always rushed to get out. Pompous attitudes from marshalls and some of the front desk. They let the big groups of tournaments dictate the rest of the day with prejudice, Although Ive been nothing but nice and friendly everytime I go out. I think I'll play some different courses and skip this one for a while. The attitude and price definitely doesn't match green fees.

Brett Hamel

I thought there had to be a catch advertising a free bucket of range balls and breakfast for kids any day of the week before 9 AM but it is even better than advertised. What a great way to get the next generation of golfers (and their parents) into the game! The pro shop staff has been a delight and this has become a semi-regular family outing that we are thankful for.

Chris Schultz

A classic Portland golf course. Nearly a hundred years old. Very chill clientele and a mostly fun course. My only complaint is that in often wet Portland weather the drainage here is problematic. Still I recommend coming here. Good driving range also.

Kimberlee Freeman

Love collecting golf balls

Brandon Hill

I'm very impressed with the greens and the practice putting green rolls consistent with the rest of the course 5 stars for the maintenance crew! ⛳⛳⛳⛳⛳

Seriously lacking in customer service and basic technology! I live near the EGC, drive by it twice a day, and my husband plays there regularly. I decided to begin playing golf myself and so I reviewed their website to learn about their instruction offerings. When I was ready to schedule my series of 3 lessons I contacted the club house and was made to feel that my questions were inconvenient. I dismissed the interaction and scheduled my lessons with a pro named Andrew. 2 days later Andrew left me a voicemail stating that my first lesson needed to be rescheduled, he was not actually available on the date that I had been scheduled. I called back and spoke to a gent named Byron. I explained that I needed to reschedule my first lesson and asked started asking about appointment availability. There was no acknowledgment that my appointment has been screwed up, nor were any parameters were offered, such as "Andrew is only available on ___ an d___ days.", so I was left to ask about specific dates and times that suited my schedule...I think this is a common practice when scheduling appointments, no? Upon having to assess a second date option I overheard Byron say, "This is great! Let's go day by day and look through every appointment book!" (he didn't place me on hold, but rather lay the phone down on the counter top I presume). I overheard voices chuckling and empathizing with Byron. When Byron returned to the phone I asked if there was a more convenient way to schedule things and I was told no, but that it was "really challenging" to look through the books when there are people in front of him wanting to play golf. I told Byron that I didn't really appreciate our interaction and he replied, "I'm sorry, I mean...I don't know what to tell you. We're really busy." EGC, invest in some basic appointment scheduling software. Then, promptly invest in some customer service training. Place customers on hold (so they can't overhear your unsavory vent sessions about them), ask to return calls if you are too busy to provide good service. Alternatively, hire people who can handle two basic functions (a phone and an appointment book) while being polite! Not that Bryon will care, because he clearly values the customers that he was venting to about me more so than a potential new customer, but I won't be taking lessons at EGC nor will I play there. Super disappointing!

Clint Melville

Never get tired of the challange

Natalie Cheechov

So pretty and a staple of the neighborhood. It’s such a blast to walk by and see people of all ages enjoying the beautiful space!

Dylan Saito

It a fun spot to work on your putting, chipping, 9 hole, 18 hole, and has a decent restaurant/bar. I find the driving range to be my personal favorite. Especially on a summer night, on the top deck, just smacking golf balls into the lit range. Moderate to expensive for an older course, but easy to play.

Suzanne Butler

Eastmoreland Golf Course is a good quality layout, popular with local golfers. This tree-lined parkland course contains a variety of attractive holes and pleasant features, which should provide an enjoyable test of golf at a generally affordable rate. Worth a visit if you are in the area and have some time to spare.

Robert Crawford

Fareways need some work. And green are rough right now. Otherwise a nice day.

Axel Oberg

great staff in the pro shop I tell you what

Oboxy

lol this golf course sucks. there is literally grass everywhere, I hate grass, please replace grass with concrete thanks 5 stars

Chea Pet

Just an overall good time

Jordan Antonelli

Bucket of balls. Medium size = $7.75. Hitting off of mats only. Crowded enough to push large group upstairs, where woods are not allowed. Mats are a bit chewed up. Convenient though if you're in southeast Portland.

Ian Baker

Nothing but riff-raff playing at this course. No etiquette whatsoever from the people playing here

Mk mk

Great golf course gardens and nature park

Ruth Hopkins

Food is fabulous & Bar man was awesome!

Barbie Mccormack

The Restaurant is a hidden gem. The staff is great and the course is well kept.

Noff Speed

No idea, I just walked by it

Michael Korb

I love East Moreland golf course it’s so much fun. Lots of big trees running up and down the sides of each hole. Front nine is really nice you make the turn and then the back nine are some water features which adds a lot of challenge. Hope 13 is always tough with a nice canyon right through the middle of it. Great municipal course highly recommend. it’s nearly 5 dollars for a small bucket of balls to hit the driving range. Chipping and putting practice is underneath the roadway on the other side of Bybee towards the first hole

Fluffy Kedderang

Great parking for use of the adjacent Max stop. 5/5 will park again! Just don't park in front of any fancy houses and you'll be fine!

Lupon Sensay

Fun driving range

Kevin Costello

The Club house is a classic. Clearly a publicly owned facility but big vaulted ceilings and large yesteryear photographs still give the vibe of the grand early days of the oldest public golf course in Oregon. The course itself is in beautiful shape again and the back nine has been a must play for 80 years. Food is good, some of it really good, and I've never met anyone cranky working in the restaurant. Did I mention it's the most affordable relationship with golf imaginable? Other than not playing.

Mike Lutz

Went there with my grandsons for the early morning free range & cereal breakfast. We had a blast - thank you Eastmoreland!

Marti Holder

The rib steak was fabulous!

Noah Harms

create food awesome teachers if you are just learning

Christopher Gray

Nice

Nesbit Warren

Great golf course! Staff was super friendly & our foursome played 18 in 4.5 hours on a mid-day Saturday under perfect weather conditions. Nice selection of micro-brews after our round on an outside patio. We're all out of town, but we'll be back sooner than later. Great day

Alex Beliy

Really beautiful coarse but come prepared. It was really busy and the folks that work their like to stick to the rules like everyone has to own their own set of clubs. Not that friendly to new players and can get stressful when you have 4 over entitled old guys throwing a fit because you're taking too long on a hole.

tara wisegarver

Never golfed here but I can tell you that it looks cool...

E.Dupree Lewis

Good green

Soumyodipta Mukerjee

Beautiful place

Melinda Doominguez

Used to sell golf balls down here when I was a child.....

John C. Grothaus

The rhododendrons were spectacular!

Terry Smith

Nice public golf course!

Mlle Joi

Beautiful

Nick Mitchoff

I gave this place my money because I thought it was a bank, but they wouldn't give me my money back

Gary baird

I almost did not visit because of the bad reviews by others. I am very happy that I did visit the golf course. My review is based mainly on the course and for a municipal course I was very pleased. This is the NW and not sure if others are not taking that into consideration! Go play it and do not let the negative reviews put you off. I will go back.

Eric Johnson

Great course. Wide open front 9 with a back nine playing around a lake. Had a great time

Genifer Wallace

Absolutely gorgeous. Sping here is increaeible.

matt francis

Beautiful scenery. Excellent course.

Rohan Prabhu

Scenic public golf course.

Josh K

24 dollars for 18 holes, great public golf course

Bitumen Bailey

The quid essential pacific Northwest golf experience. Beautiful, green, old building, soggy spots, creeks and ponds, cheap and trees right in the wrong place. Nice.

Thomas Ekstrand

Well kept, challenging course, nice pro shop

Kevin Turner

Nice breakfast on a rainy morning.

G Bear

$@*$ this place, surrounded by gardens and parks this wasteful and ecologically destructive business is NOT what I want in my community. Would give zero stars if I could

Skyris Imaging

This is one of the great public courses in the region. It almost has a private club feel in the clubhouse and sees a lot of regulars for am play. I wish it played better in the winter, unfortunately it gets a little soggy.

Randall Siedschlag

Hidden gem of Portland golf

Martín Rojo

Really nice and peaceful park, recommended

Ben Hacker

Great course with 18 holes. Lots of trees and good for most skill levels. Club bar at the end serves good drinks. Great location very central in Portland.

Anne Levenhagen

The gorgeous Crystal Springs Rhododendron Gardens abut the course. Beautiful paths lined with Rhododendrons and other lovely plantings along with waterfalls, duck's and their adorable baby's, precocious squirrels and amusing geese.

Josh Stephenson

They get 1 star because I can't give a zero. This is all from our experience with the player's assistant. He came up to us on the fourth hole and told us to pick up the pace (we finished in 4 and a half hours. A little slow but not excessive). No pleasantries such as "hi," "good morning" "how's the round?" Etc. We told him we would be happy to pick it up (although we weren't playing THAT slow). We all golf once a week so we can't be THAT bad. He followed us off the tee. He proceeded to come by at least five times to pick up the pace. The last time, he said his boss suggested we play from the junior tees. I have never been this harassed on a golf course. The clubhouse is in terrible shape, the driving range is crowded and falling apart. They don't pick up the grass clippings and the greens were in poor shape. It was a beautiful day in Portland but I will never play here again. I hope the city replaces the management team and makes some serious changes.

Ronny Dolbier

I wasn't at the golf course I was on the side with the ducks and trails

Leslie Pullen

I play golf 2 to 3 times a week at my home course year round. I also travel 2 to 3 times a year on golf vacations. I have played many different courses that I can compare Eastmoreland to. A few times a year, I have the opportunity to play Eastmoreland. It is a good public course, the dog legs make it interesting, and the pro shop staff are friendly and accomodating.

Joe Hermanson

Great course.

Rboert Molina

It's beautiful here! Come visit.

Robert Sheline

Great track for a municipal course. Some nice water holes.

William Watkins

Great course for the price. Will play again when ever I am in town.

Michael Tulipat

Very majestic. Always going to hold a special spot in my heart. Breakfast here brings back so much good and bad memories.

Shawn Rowland

Been coming here 25 plus years and it's likr a fine wine it's gettibg better with age

Chuck Ryalls

My second favorite municipal golf course in Portland! Good pace of play good greens. If only it would drain better in the wet months, I'd give it 5 stars. But for the price and quality of greens it's a must play Muni.

Rocco M

Decent course but steer clear during the wet months. Terrible drainage system leads to nightmarish conditions.

Steven Binder

Everything is a little old, but Eastmoreland is a great choice for those in the city. A big range open untill 8PM in the winter, great tap selection and a unique and challenging course (don't let the scorecard fool you), Eastmoreland is always a positive experience.

Taylor Mallard

This is a good value course. I find myself playing here once or twice a year as it is very accessible from my office downtown. The course is short, but many of the holes are dog legs and shielded by mature stands to prevent you from cutting the corner off the tee. My main gripe with the course is the horrible pace of play. If you're not one of the first off in the morning, better schedule 5+ hours for a round of 18.

Karen Shillimg

I did not go there

Carmen Thompson

Serene

Gil Florentino

Nice course with decent green fees.

Deborah Bu

Beautiful convenient golf course. Nice restaurant too!

Maya Abdirahman

A spacious, green and enclosed area. It's fun to here during the summer

Aaron Longo

Love playing this course. Lots of challenging holes on the back nine, and water hazards to boot. Lovely municipal course!

Bill Behrend

Reasonably priced, old school charm. Mostly tree lined fairways.

Andrew Benedicto

Xtuc u wet and eery t

Mary Fitzpatrick

The golfers here are total trash. They throw garbage in the lake polluing the waters for all of wildlife. I’m not referring to accidental balls but blatant littering.

John Hasbrouck

Beautiful Golf Course. Very muddy when it rains

J Estey

This is one of Portland's best and oldest courses. The back nine is absolutely gorgeous! You will not believe you're playing a municipal course. Definitely a must play.

Cathy Seitz

Lovely place

Floyd Frick

Challenging course with sometimes narrow fairways and lots of trees. ... great public city of Portland course.

Fermentorock

A great place

James Clark

Had a wonderful time at Eastmoreland Golf Course this past weekend. Before we even arrived, the pro shop staff was very accommodating as I needed to lock in two back-to-back tee time's for our group (coming from out of town) well in advance. We played mid-day Saturday, so the round was a tad over 4 hours, but it was our favorite round we played while in Portland. There is something so special about an old American municipal course. Firstly, the design: Tight fairways and very small greens. Shorter holes, but a couple of very hard doglegs. I'm sure there have been some changes since this course was built 100 years ago, but the "old design" is noticeable (and magical). You can imagine the course was designed for the game in the era of persimmon woods and early metal forged irons. The layout of the track will only get better with age (in my humble opinion) as it is so rare for courses not to constantly lengthen their yardages as golf technology improves. The general tightness of your tee shots and landing zones will keep this otherwise short course as a challenge for your regular avid golfer. Secondly, course conditions were amazing: I believe the greens are bentgrass? The greens were very soft and felt great to walk on. They held relatively well and rolled very true. The fairways were green and lush, and it was a pleasure to take divots out here. Also, I loved how the course was wrapped in nature. Most holes are framed by a variety of colorful trees and that is so much more appealing than cutting through a neighborhood. That type of seclusion is so peaceful but is unfortunately much more common in the country club ranks. Very cool that this affordable, public course offers the same aesthetic.

Bill P.

Never have I experienced a rude racist starter. When my friend and I walked on the course we asked if we can play the back 9 since the back 9 was empty. The starter gives us a look and says "absolutely not. There are too many people playing 18". There was no one making the turn btw. So we waited at the front. The starter then ignores us and let's a group of his friends go. His mood changes and he's all happy with them. So the foursome moves on while us twosome waits. You two can go now. So after our round we were in the parking lot and we saw the starter letting two white people go the back. It's busiest now and he's letting them go the back 9. We are both minorities so I'm sure this why he gives us an attitude. I spoke to other golfers and they all said the starter is in fact treats minorities in a whole different manner. The course has gotten many complaints and he's still around. Terrible.

Sean b

Good greens. Nice course

Scott Campbell

Rhododendron gardens

madi d

Would have given a five but the starter was rude at The First Tee

John Gainer

Nice people. Good rates. Pleasant fixtures.

Kay Bridges

Beautiful course even if you dont play golf.

Great golfing spot.

The ducks are funny, you can spend half day sitting along the riverside.

Tirza Hutabarat

My dad tought me how to play golf here, and sometimes I would watch him, great time and great way to spend time families and friends

Ami Solomon

Can use a bit more maintenance

Dianna Gray

scenic, challenging, historic, fun! One of Portland's oldest golf courses, Est. 1918. Lovely course-side outdoor tables outside the Eastmoreland Grill for relaxing with friends and a brew

jesse lanyon

This course has gone way down hill... the greens were in absolutely atrocious condition, very furry and bumpy. The fairways and area around the greens were as hard as concrete making it impossible to hit a normal golf shot. I'm a legitimate 2 handicap and have never been so upset about a course like I was with this one yesterday. I would hit a good drive only to have it bounce and roll 50 yards into trouble, would hit an approach shot only to have it land on the green and not hold. Chipping was literally a joke, imagine trying to hit a delicate chip shot with little green to work with off of concrete, that's what's it like. I shoot legitimately between 70-80 99% of the time and had zero chance to do so with the entire course being a hard pan. Will never come back though I'm sad to say so as I grew up playing here somewhat often. This course will only be suitable for 20+ handicap golfers.

Autumn Pardee

A bit run down, but affordable and beautiful. They let my kids play with me to...

Dan Pink

This is the best course in the region in the summer. By far the hardest course off the tee any time of year. I believe today 15 of the pins were in the hardest spot they could be. It was awesome!

Bonnie Etson

What a beautiful course. Great place for a banquet. Great food, lovely setting and a great space.

David H Steinbrugge

A good Municipal Golf Course. Can be a little tough to play during the wet months as it can get pretty soggy. And I think we only saw one ball washer in 18 holes and it was out of water. We always have a good time playing there though. The club house is very nice, your basic Golf Clubhouse food, nice bar with outdoor seating overlooking the 10th hole.

Zach Welch

Simply the best municipal golf course in Portland. Traditional parkland layout that will test golfers of all skill levels. Probably the toughest 6,500 yard course you will find in the Pacific Northwest. The maintenance crew has done a fantastic job over the past 5 years to fix drainage issues, making it far more playable in winter months. Summertime conditions are on par with any $100 course/ country club in town. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly with great lesson packages to sharpen your game. Practice facilities for both your short and long game are always well maintained. Highly recommend!

Debbie Hendryx

Dinner in the Grill. Didn't get the sandwich I ordered but ate the French Dip anyway and enjoyed it~

Trever Skinner

One off my favorite courses in Portland. Beautiful and challenging.

Sara Rutledge

Went to the gardens not the golf course. Gardens were beautiful.

Marcia Hutchins

Nice course. Challenging.

Phillip Kennewell

Same as I remember. 40 years

Jordyn Allen

I really like this place because I go there often with my friend duing happy hour which is good for the prices on the food and the food too is really good. I give the food five stars but the staff service three starts. I also love to go up to the driving range and let out my anger and also focus but have fun with friends in doing so. Overall I recommend this place.

Leuth Novotny

Food good. Portions large. Drinks nice. Prices fair. Service fun.

betty McNamee

Love everything about this course and staff

kage godd

Awesome views

Tessica Campbell

Gorgeous

Rusty Turner

Great old style layout that puts more emphasis on shot-making than distance. Plus, easily the best bar and restaurant of any public facility in the area. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable and Ray has a splendid array of teaching pros, any of whom will do your game a LOT more good than that new $500 driver. Wonderful course and facility (even if it's not new, it's CLEAN...do you hear me Rose City??).

anne lecrivain

Nice local spot. Classic breakfast.

Josh Reed

One of the hardest courses based on how I usually play there. The back 9 is my favorite and has nice variety.

Keith Mansur

Great municipal golf course. Challenging and long, too. Great driving range and pro shop. No better golf for the money in Portland.

David Kuykendall

Excellent old parkland style course. Very enjoyable playing through the tree lined fairways. I have played there many times through the years and have always had a great time.

Ben Gill

Not a terrible place to stealth camp.

Brian Hansen

Wish they would straighten the tee boxes and put ball cleaners around. Other than that, the front is decent, but the back 9 is worth playing.

Peggy MacMillan

Love Eastmoreland! Always. Hit a bucket with a Stella.

Brian Price

I've played here a lot over the years, with yesterday being the first time of the season. I'm horribly disappointed with the level of care that this course is receiving. The greens were terribly inconsistent and very bumpy. This course used to have beautiful greens in the summer. The sand traps were the worst I've played all season. There were three different types of sand, depending on the hole, and most of them looked like they hadn't been raked by the grounds crew in weeks. Some were muddy, some were overly soft. In addition, there was a horrible pest problem throughout the course. There was a dead opossum in the middle of the 2nd fairway, a dead goose floating in the 12th green-side pond, nutria on multiple holes, and geese (and their droppings) nearly everywhere around the golf course. My friend and I were truly grossed out. The bathroom on the 4th tee box hadn't been cleaned in some time, as there was a major blowout in the women's bathroom -- my friend came running out just as soon as she entered. On the backside, there was extensive construction going on on holes 14-16. Orange plastic fences were everywhere and often placed in areas where they really got in the way of normal play. It looked like the course managers didn't feel like it was necessary to be concerned with the overall aesthetics of the golf course. Lastly, we played twilight at a rate of $24 per person, which if the course was taken care of the way I had remembered, this would have been an acceptable rate. However, we were charged $20 for a golf cart at twilight -- 5/6 of the price of our round. Absolutely absurd. I realize this is a Portland public golf course, but give me a break. Both Heron Lakes and Red Tail, which are also Portland public courses, don't even charge half this price at twilight. I played twilight on Sunday at Langdon Farms -- a way nicer golf course -- for 27 dollars and 5 bucks for a golf cart. In short, I will not be playing this course ever again. My experience could not be any worse, and I'm embarrassed for the people that have taken this course downhill so fast. What a disappointment.

Dick Brown

Nice course will play again Thanks

Moo d&d Cokleata

It was amazing and really fun to play and had so much fun

todd drumm

One of the best municipal courses in Portland Oregon the back nine to spectacular and the greens are in fantastic shape very good value for the money and if you tee off after 12 it's practically free would highly recommend this course

David Heintz

I’m leaving two stars for this review and I would like to tell you all why and I hope it will benefit you, and the future players of Eastmoreland golf corse. First of all, I’m a 1 year experienced golfer. Myself and two low-expiranced friends decided to give this coarse a try. And pay the extra few bucks it costs to play this larger coarse than we are used too. Mostly just to get more experience. I arrived at the front desk inside right on the minute of our booked tee time. And the man behind the counter told me this: “you totally missed your tee time so I’m pushing you out 35 minutes” as a new golfer, I was pretty understanding of what the man told me. But the tone was not welcoming and came off sharp. I know he maybe was busy, because it was a busy day. But seriously what he said next made me certain he was having either a rough day, or was bad at customer service. He said with the same rough tone: “if you want to play here again in the future, your going to have to do better with your time” It may be be, but it was a bad first impression. And he was stern when he said it. So. We got to the first tee-off, and the “starter” (man who tells you when to go) was kind and gave us a few extra balls he had on his staff cart. The coarse (first nine holes we played) were beautiful. And had a good time. But after Dealing with the rough employee behind the counter, me and my friends will not be returning to this coarse. I’m sorry, but that was enough to really discourage 3 new golfers from giving them business. Like I said earlier, We went there for the experience, and got what we wanted out of it. But due to that employee being not welcoming and rough to us. it kinda discuraged us the rest of the time spent there. So we’re done at that coarse. Hope that will help you guys.

Sussie Urena

The gardens are most beautiful. Worth the trip

Betsy Sayer

One of the beavers were out today! Update: It was an adorable nutria.

Allan Bornstine

I'll give the Golf Course a good thumbs up, has got to be a great place to play when the course is a lot more dry. The restaurant on the other hand could use some attention. Specifically Better Customer Service! Especially if you want your Tip?

Troy Collier

Nothing special. Front 9 is pretty boring. The back 9 has more variety and is a little prettier, but also has some weird holes. Other courses in the area are much nicer for the same price. And they charge $18 per person here for a cart!!! 18 bucks?!! REALLY???!!!!

Dan Williams

Old course with various attractions. Front and back 9s different enough to hold your interest and challenge most players.

J M

Love this place. A SE gem.

Hendrik VanderHook

A great local grocery store. Good selection food was in great condition and cashier was friendly. You will want their free Von card. Saved me 30 percent.

Adam Eriksen

The course always looks beautiful when I run or drive by. My wife and I also admire it from the nearby Rhododendron Gardens every time we walk through.

Idk what's up G bears butt from a review he/she left 3 days ago but this is a place I moved to the area for. Nice staff, challenging little course, solid food. Think they even have the impossible burger for vegans. Stop being a negative Nancy G Bear and enjoy the sunshine:)

Synthad1

Its okay, but there are definitely better places for the same price (Stone Creek, Heron Lakes, Red Tail, Tri-Mountain, OGA, etc. etc.) After a few holes into the round, I always regret going there instead of some of the other places around town. I go to East Moreland a couple times a year, because I forget how much bird poop there is around the course. Every step and swing stance needs to be carefully made to avoid standing in it. On some of the greens you have to scrape a clear line from your ball to the hole. It gets everywhere!! Shoes, clubs, pull cart, then your towels, etc... Bring plenty of towels and plan on spending some time at their hose on the side of the club house. The club house is outdated, as well as the Pro Shop goods. The range is horrid. Maybe the worse in town if you dont count Tri-Mountain's range. The mats are cheap, old and torn up, but the balls are even worse. They feel and look like they have been using the same balls for years. Dont rely on your distances using these range balls of course.

Judy Maes

It is next to CRYSTAL SPRINGS RHODODENDRON GARDENS.

Joshua Gustafson

Fun place to golf, food is good, nice grounds, cool place to hang for half a day.

Ian Basile

Don't know why people are complaining about this course so much. It's a well conditioned PUBLIC course. It's a great course. I am 18 and play it multiple times per week during the summer. Course is well maintained. Challenging but fair course! Greens are well maintained, great staff overall, easy to get tee times and typically moves at a good pace. Twilight rate is great and is a good time to play! Great, great course!

Andrew Zoch

Beautiful course in lower SE

Steve Fu

Wonderful place!

Carol Denton-Smith

great food nice atmosphere

James Mikell

Scheduled a Tee Time at 0914 and arrived at 0914. Perhaps I should have gotten there earlier, but I was on time. From the moment I walked in the door I was informed that I was late and holding up everybody. I apologized for any inconvenience I may have caused and proceeded with check-in and securing a cart. Once out to the cart, the "Marshall" instructed me to "hurry it up" - it was 0920. I informed the Marshall that my friend and I were a beginner and we had no intention of rushing. He explained to me that was not going to work and I would have to rush through the holes. I made a few suggestions on how to alleviate his concern, but they were not good apparently. They ended up refunding the $150 I doled out to celebrate my friend's birthday and we went to Eagle's Landing, which I would recommend. I will never return here and would also encourage readers of this review, if you are new to the game, go somewhere else and save yourself the wasted time.

Gail Roudebush
