We stayed overnight through an RV app called Harvest Host. I had called earlier in the week to make sure we would be able to stay Friday night, and was confirmed with the nice lady on the phone. As it was super windy on Friday evening when we arrived, and no employees were available to confirm, we parked on the asphalt area that had more shelter, even though we were told to park in the more exposed area on the gravel.
In the morning, we were re-arranging our rig to the part of the parking lot we were supposed to be in, without being asked by the employees, because we knew we were in the way of other paying customers. When we went to relocate ourselves, a man immediately came out of the golf shop, staring angrily at us. I went out to greet him with a warm "good morning" and he immediately accuses us of using his parking lot and not giving him any business. What a rude way to treat your customers, sir! I had to defend our logic, which he wasn't willing to listen to.
We ended up moving to the gravel, went inside to their restaurant, and had a lunch before we promptly left. The woman who waited on us was excellent, but as stated in a comment before, their management can really use an attitude adjustment. Maybe don't assume the worst of someone who was actually intending you help you out.
The two stars are for the service provided by the waitress, which I would give a 5/5, but 0/5 for your nasty managerial staff. Needless to say we won't be coming back.
