No rangers, no starters. Good food. The public and members are treated responsibly so the golfers conduct themselves accordingly. Not anything like that at the Vineyards. They tell you pace of play is 15 minutes per hour and by the 6 or 7th and you have been out there only 1 hr 10 minutes, the harassment begins. Maybe because you are walking or maybe because they have more business than they know what to do with. Either way, play Stonelick for a few more dollars and avoid the anger.

First time playing at Stonelick Hills yesterday. The staff was A+, friendly and extremely accommodating. The course was manicured to perfection and everything from the tee boxes to fairways to rough to bunkers to greens was absolutely pristine. My favorite holes were the first 18.. there weren't any that didn't stand out to me. Nice electric carts that were quiet, paths were in great condition. flowers everywhere and the lakes were beautiful. Totally memorable golf experience for me, I anxiously await my next tee time at Stonelick!

I thought The Golf Club at Stonelick Hills was superb in every way. The fairways and greens are beautifully manicured bent grass with a type of bluegrass rough. I love the flat tee boxes and I actually really like the golf course design because there aren't any gimmicky or unfair type designed holes. Dial up your challenge by moving tees and there are 5 sets to choose from (tips are close to 7200 yards). I was blown away by the price too; $65 with a cart Mon-Thurs $75 or so the other days. This price for this nice of a course is literally not possible in my home town. I can't say enough good things about this course. Really phenomenal.

The wedding reception we had for our daughter and son-in-law was a first class affair at this country club. Mike Sowards, General Mgr. and Jake Osterfeld, President, took excellent care of the details. ws there Mike quickly answered any questions and accommodated any request we had, and that made it easy to nail down last minute changes we had. The food was excellent / the bartenders, especially Shelby, were really helpful with drink requests and the servers for dinner were friendly and made all the guests feel comfortable. I think everyone really had a good time and it was a reception my wife and I will always remember. Our daughter and her husband enjoyed the celebration too and the guests sure seemed to have a good time. I highly recommend Stonelick Hills Golf Club if you want to host a wedding and reception that guests will enjoy.

We had the pleasure of having our wedding day at the magical Stonelick Hills Golf Club. Stonelick is a hidden gem in Ohio that I feel fortunate to have found. After looking at only a few other wedding venue options, they had me at hello. Not only is it a gorgeous golf course, but every where you turn the views are breathtaking and the entire staff is equally amazing! Each person was welcoming, professional, kind, approachable, hard-working, and eager to make our day perfect. Our day was perfect! Everything came together beyond our expectations. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was better than we envisioned and we simply could not have asked for more. I would highly recommend Stonelick Hills Golf Club for a place to visit, golf, and/or host any type of venue. A HUGE thank you to Mike, Kyle, Jodi, & Jake. From the beginning to end, the experience was something we will never forget and are forever grateful for. Thank you to all for being apart of our wedding day and making it one of the best days of our life!

I have been a member for many years at a private club in Cincinnati which has a great Donald Ross course. I had the opportunity to recently join some friends at Stonelick for a round and I was very happily surprised. This is a very enjoyable course to play. The layout is fantastic and the level of play is very fair. The course was well maintained. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I have played many famous golf courses worldwide and Stonelick is as good as any of them, if not better.

3 years ago loved this place. Expensive yes, but worth it. Went last weekend, and I'm not impressed anymore. Good hole layout as always, but not pristine. I bragged to my buddies and paid the way only to be embarrassed by how awful this place looks anymore. Brown spots everywhere,Rough was a mix of weeds, putting greens were not cared for, t's were awful. Possibly due to new management idk. Played legindairy run the week before, vinyard, and California golf course before here and they all our in better shape then that day of golf! 60 bucks for 12 beers too! Really? Don't waste your money. Club house is impressive and course needs lots of attention .

Southwest Ohio has some wonderful places to play golf and I have taken advantage of many of them. Possibly no experience is more enjoyable than a round at Stonelick Hills Golf Club in Batavia, OH. The designer, Jeff Osterfeld did an incredible job utilizing the contours of the Ohio hills. Stonelick presents a challenge to any golfer with an assortment of 5 tees. The course opened in 2004 and word spread quickly through the golfing community of a fun, new favorite of the area. Though the course has only been around for a brief time it has grown into the premier place to play in the Cincinnati area. I have had the opportunity to get to know the staff and become very familiar with them. They go above and beyond to make sure your experience meets all expectations. While the course brings most people to the facility, make sure that you utilize the practice area which is a perfect place to work on your long and short game. The clubhouse and back patio serve as a serene place to have lunch and watch players finish their 9's, as well as entertaining parties and events. Stonelick offers a wide variety of amenities for entertaining as well as hosting your dream wedding with beautiful scenery accompanied by an excellent staff. Mike (General Manager) and Adam (Head Golf Professional) are both very easy to work with and very helpful with organizing any of your events. I highly suggest experiencing the course but also taking advantage of all that Stonelick Hills Golf Club has to offer.

This is an excellent course. Tee to green, it's in great shape. I didn't see a single blemish on any of the greens and the fairways were plush. It's a challenging course but not too tough, I managed to shoot one over my handicap. I loved the layout, it makes you think about each shot. The island green on #9 is both beautiful and intimidating. I would recommend this course. We drove 1.25 hours to play and was not disappointed. I just wish it was closer to home

Played on a hot and humid August 1st. The fairways and greens were in the best condition that I have seen in 5 years. We were the second group out and the greens rolled perfectly smooth. The course is very scenic and every hole needs a good game plan. Overall a great day of golf.

If you are a golfer or even someone who just plays a little bit you will love this course. Im a single digit handicapper and have only played this course once and absolutely loved the fairness and overall playability of this place. Each hole is well thought out and atleast in my experience guides you on how to play it i didn't hit many drivers you don't need to.Play to the wide parts of the fairway and you will have a low to iron into all the greens which are tricky but not ridiculous so staying below the hole is a good idea. However the pace of play needs to be more regulated i played in a little over 5 hours which in my opinion is to long.

I had heard about Stonelick Hills from a friend who said that it is a "must play". Well, I am here to say that he under sold it! This place is amazing from the drive into the clubhouse to the beautiful clubhouse to the pristine conditions on the course and the friendly staff that awaits you after the round. I would say that it was a perfect day of golf followed by a few cold beers and an awesome cheeseburger! I wish that I lived closer then I could play again and again. It is quite a story as well, if you get a chance check out the website and read the history about how it was created, very cool!!

Our family has tremendously enjoyed Stonelick Hills for their golf facilities. But, our most recent fondness for Stonelick is due to their wedding facility and service. We were so incredibly pleased with the ambience, views and, most of all, the service we experienced for our daughter's wedding. The attention to detail, friendly and accommodating service and relaxed beauty was absolutely perfect. We had a beautiful day and the bride, groom and all our guests had a wonderful time. Stonelick is not only a hidden gem of a golf course, but is a lovely place for a wedding and has all the service and attention to detail of the best of Cincinnati's other offerings in a laid-back and friendly manner. AND, the manager actually stays at the wedding and reception to make sure all goes well, too. We were so very pleased with everything for our daughter's wedding....and we'll keep going back to play golf, too.

This may be a great place for golf, but don't EVER spend your money getting married here. It was beautiful but the manager is incompetent, combative, and rude. My best friend got married here and he said no to absolutely every thing she brought up. She was having BBQ and he was all up in arms because he didn't want it to "Ruin his linens". When we showed up to set up for the reception, all the linens were stained and looked awful. We showed up the night before when he told us to be there and while setting up he and the bartender basically glared at us for an hour and a half. We were not allowed to show up until after ALL the golfers were done and gone, and yet we couldn't have some time to set up the area? The manager kept saying "Golf First" and he was not kidding. During the ceremony, a ball splashed into the water about 3 feet behind me. We weren't allowed to be there until 3 the day of the wedding and assumed the golfers would be finished by the time the ceremony started around 6:30. I understand this is a golf course but if you don't want to accommodate someone who is spending thousands of dollars just to rent out the space, don't even offer to have events. Mike, the manager, was awful. The bridesmaids and the bride did a photo which featured all of us having a drink at the bar. This was at about 3:30-4pm. Mike said he "knew there would be trouble when the bridal party started drinking at 3:30" (though he is now saying that we started drinking at 2:15 when we didn't even show up at the golf course until around 3:15). This was the only drink we had until the reception. When we asked for the beers for the photo, the bartender opened the bar (without asking the bride, groom, or anyone), thus charging an extra couple THOUSAND dollars for the bar. Golfers (not guests at all) were eating mints and cookies that had been set out for wedding guests and were drinking beer allocated to guests of the wedding (the bride had kegs brought in...the type of beer wasn't even offered at Stonelick). All in all, a HORRIBLE experience. My best friend, the bride, left in tears. There has been no resolution whatsoever and I wish I could say what I have written here was all that happened in the 7 hours we were there. I am appalled by the total lack of customer service. The manager said he hated doing weddings and hopefully they will stop offering to have them soon. Don't waste your money on this place unless you want to play golf. And I wouldn't even recommend playing golf here if you have to deal with the manger, Mike, who was incredibly incompetent. Stay far, far away.

Mysteriously tucked away in Clermont County, is a tranquil oasis- Stonelick Hills Golf Course. Although it was a far drive for me to play at this course, it was definitely worth it! The course was in excellent shape, food was fantastic, and staff was friendly! I highly recommend this course to any avid golfer.

Played this course on 4/29/2019 from the Gold Tees. Course played very well and long on some holes since the fairways were soft with the amount of rain they recieved. Greens were very quick with alot of undelation. Ball rolled smoothly. Even with only cart path enjoyed playing there. Staff in the pro shop and snack area were great. If your in the area this is a must play.

I played here last Sunday and I have been playing here for the past 9 years. I feel that this is the best public golf course around. Everytime I go there, with or without a tee time, they make me feel like I am at home and are very accomodating to get me out on the course. Every once in awhile I bring a buddy of mine out golfing who had an allergic reaction to an immunization he received as a baby which has left him using 2 canes with cuffs. It is truly amazing to see my friend golf with 1 hand on the club leaning on a cuffed cane....very inspiring! The GM, Mike Sowards, came out one day while we were playing (on a soggy course due to rain and cart path only) and brought out a handicap flag to allow us to drive off the path just so our friend could play. He did not need to do that as the course was soaked and we could have done some real damage if we went in the wrong places! Mike hung around for a few holes just to watch and hang out and later he told me how inspiring it was to be a part of our 4some and see someone enjoy golf so much when he had to struggle to even do some of the basic things like walking. Any damage done to the course was worth it he said even if only one person was inspired by our friend's play. The course is always beautiful, in great condition and I would put it up there with some of the nicer private country clubs in this area. I am proud to say that Stonelick Hills is my home course and I am even thinking of having my wedding there next year....can't wait!!
