Decent layout in horrible shape. Tee boxes and greens hadn't been mowed in several days so it was like playing out of the rough on every shot. Last year the greens and fairways were burnt out from their chemical applications. I think they need a new greens superintedent. Super slow play and no ranger to speed things up.

Mediocre. And I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt since the greens had been punched recently. Not a very well-maintained course. The tee boxes were pretty rough. the layout wasn't bad although there were some holes that were severely sloped. number 17 was one of those holes. I saw the slope and tried to hit down the left side which I managed to achieve yet my ball went completely across the fairway riding the slope and it ended up in the rough don't see how that's well-designed

One of the best public courses in the area. Very challenging but interesting golf holes. The first two will lull you to sleep but then watch out. The 3rd & 4th are two of the most difficult 4 pars around. Course was a little wet and soft today due to heavy rains yesterday and the greens on # 7 & 8 are recovering from a fungus but, overall, the course is what is has always been - an old fashioned, straight-forward golf course that requires your best play.

It was a great track. Was able to pair up with employees of the park on there day off. All 4 of us walked it. Challenging but fair from white tees. Will definitely be go back when I get back in the area. A most play for all you local golfers.

County course with generally great conditions. They let the greens get longer when it gets hot as they should. Plenty of fun holes. Greens get fast in the right conditions. Classic shorter layout. Par 70. Plenty of hills for a Cincinnati course.

One of the most reasonably priced and toughest public courses in the area. Does not get the notary of others, but great value here. SW gets a ton of rounds and can get beat up in the dead heat of the summer, but so can a lot of courses.

I played on 10/13/18. I think some of the recent reviews are being overly critical. Yes, some (3 or 4) of the greens are in bad shape, but for most of the season (prior to aerating in the beginning of September) they were fine. The rest of the course is in good condition. If you want a challenging course without the steep price tag, you should give this a look. I removed a star because of the condition of some of the greens. Also, they are offering a discounted rate because of the current condition of the greens. I walked 18 for $20.

I’ve been playing this course since I was 12 years old, recently on Friday Sept 14 I played it again. Oh yeah I’m now 61. I was very disappointed in the conditions especially the greens. Let’s just say this, It’s the WORST Greens I’ve ever seen. It was a joke. You have lost a customer for life. Pathetic is being to nice to describe that mess. Close the place and get a new greens keeper.

Beautiful course. Came down for a work trip decided to play 9 after a day of work. Found this gem of a course. Well maintained and Jerry went above an beyond to make sure I knew the history and even gave me a course tour as they were getting ready to close for the day. I will most definitely be back to play the front 9. I would recommend this to any level player for the views alone.

I would give this place less than 3 stars but I can't complain too much about the course itself. My main issue with this place is that the clubhouse overbooks their tee times to make as much money as possible while screwing over their guests. Just played this week and had to literally wait 15 minutes between each hole to tee off. 9 holes on a cart took almost 3 hours!!!!! When we were finished, I was told by another golfer that we were lucky. He had to wait almost 30 minutes between holes the week earlier. Seems to me this place is more concerned about making money rather than keeping its customers. I will not be playing here again.

Had 2 groups of 2 in front of our 4some that weren't very good, so we had to wait every hole on front nine. One twosome left after nine and things opened up on back nine. A couple of greens were cut to close to have large muddy scars.
