After not being able to play Columbus city course because they don’t accept Amex I headed over to New Albany Links without a tee time and was able to get off the back right away. The gentleman in the pro shop were very welcoming and assisted me in the direction to 10. Pace was great until the front side getting stuck behind a group of 4 that had no intention of letting me play through. The course was in great and will definitely be back to play again.

sand traps are a total joke more like weed traps greens are all ball marks you would think for what they charge they could pay someone to rake bunkers, but i guess u cant rake mud and weeds let alone cut the rough

Good course with multiple tees. Nice layout with challenging holes that make you manage your game. Club selection on some holes requires thinking about your 2nd shot.

I attended a wedding at the golf course. My wife was the wedding coordinator in the service and staff there was outstanding. My wife is done hundreds of weddings in this was probably the best support staff ever.

Played 7/8/2019: They are not keeping many of the bunkers in good condition (not uncommon for public courses in central Ohio). Home owners association will not allow course to cut greens early so you may play a few holes before you get to greens without dew. Still a very good layout and I will play again.

So I played the links today hoping to get 36 holes in. Only got 18 holes in. First off I was at the course at 10am and didn’t get tee off till 10:30am because of the tees times before me. We not off the the back first. The back 9 nine we played in 2 h 15 maybe which was normal. When we made the turn the pro shop add someone playing nine in between the group before us and the group that I meet up with on the front/ back nine. We played the back/front nine in 3h 15min. Super slow for nine. When I got in to pro shop couldn’t play another 18 because of leagues going off both nine. So green there is many greens that have fungus growing and also the 8th green is un-puttable. Was going to play nine more before leagues but the price for nine after 18 was $34 and 18 was $47 course not in very good shape for New Albany!

Once again, NAL does not disappoint, even in late November. New Albany Links is a good test of golf, and the course was in good shape. It is my favorite public course on the east side of Columbus. The course was not busy, and we played very quickly.

Good course that has matured well. Generally well maintained. Flat rates are on the higher side for central Ohio I think, but they've got great deals as well if you look closer.

Sand traps are being remodeled and the course is exactly the kind if challenge you would expect for the price. There are an abnormal amount of divots on the fairways, but most of the carts lack enough filler sand for people to actually fix their divots. Some preventative maintenance could go a long way to making this the best New Era course

Reviewing the pub and restaurant as we are nearby but not members. The food is really good for pub/country club standards. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Great beer selection for a country club. Kid friendly. Only complaint is it's been sometimes unclear when they are open for lunch.

Course was in terrible shape for September. Large amounts of ground under repair. Mud bunkers (apparently the sand had already flown south for the winter)

Waited for 15 minutes to get a server, ordered a beer and found it was from empty keg so a flat beer, ordered a milk for my son and found they was out of milk, ordered a appetizer and found they was sold our old that one , so not a good experience at all . Looms like to many customer and not enough employees, would advise bartender ro pay more attention to patrons entering building than her personal relationships with her boyfriend at the bar

Was very disappointed with the overall up keep of the course. Been a year or two since I had been here. Brought a friend who is memeber at Heritage. Spent the day before talking up the place, idk what the deal is with all the empty bunkers full of weeds and ponds full of scum. But save ur money and go somewhere else...

Played this course about 5 years ago and it was very well manicured. Played it this morning and had to write a review. I was talking the course up to a friend who had never played it. We payed $55 from a deal on golf now which I thought wasn't too bad for being Labor Day. The fairways were decent, I'd say 3/5. The greens were decent as well minus all the divots that went I repaired from others playing, 3/5. The rough was strange, there were strips in it that looked like the people mowing left the deck down or adjusted in the middle of a run (not every hole but more than a couple). The bunkers were atrocious, even the green side bunkers were in poor condition, 1/5. One thing that really bothered me was that one of the grounds crew that was drying the greens drove past us once we had teed off. We were around 100 yards to the green at our balls and he drives onto the green and pulls the pin. In my opinion he should have waited for the gap between us and the group behind us but whatever. Other staff including the starter was great. This course is the worst of all the New Era courses. May not play it again unless I hear they have gotten the course back to where it once was. If you're in the area I would suggest Royal American or drive to sunbury/delaware and play bent tree, North Star or glen ross for roughly the same price.

Overall experience was bad. Great layout with many challenging golf holes. However, bunkers, if you want to call them that, aren't even real...I took family to this course, even talked it up after looking at the nice pictures on their website....Completely embarrassed that I suggested it to them to say the least. Was played like a fool, realizing it once I stepped on the first tee...$55 dollars for an unplayable golf course is blasphemy...never again. Put a little pride in your work, would ya.

booked a tee time using their online service. Charged me $5.97. Closed the course due to rain. Called to get my money back. They said it was the online booking company. After 5 days of emailing the online company, they are telling me its the course who needs to refund my money. Im tired of the run around for $5.97.

Course is overpriced. Potential to be very nice, but bunkers are now mostly bare dirt. Greens inconsistent, some will hold, and others are too hard to keep the ball on the green even with the highest, softest wedge shot. People there very nice. I paid over $50 to play on a Sunday morning. I would judge that more proper pricing, until it's been renovated, would be $35 on weekends, and $25 on weekdays. Since there were reviews ONE YEAR AGO that had the same opinions about the bunkers, I would not suggest that the completion of renovation is imminent. There is a unexpected find there, we stayed for lunch and the food was remarkably good, cooked to order, and a fair value.

This course needs a lot of work. Traps on back are rock hard and often overrun with weeds. Either regonize you are not an elite course or invest some money into the course to match your fees

Played 8/15. Usually a well maintained course and understand lack of rain, but that is what greens fees should help pay for...watering the course. Greens were in terrible shape. Burnt out ball Mark's on every one and some with huge patches of grass missing or diseased. Bunkers more rock than sand. Almost $50 for a mid week round in these conditions is just not worth it. Spend more money and time on the course and not the clubhouse.

I liked the course, very challenging. However, there is only unisex bathroom in pro shop and we had to stand in line. Only snack in pro shop is $3 protein bar and drinks. The real food is in the old pro shop location (the big brick building). Will know the next time we play.

Played here on 7/15 and couldn’t believe the conditions I found. Nearly ever green had issues (disease/fungus and/or burnt out) and there were weeds everywhere. I could’ve given them a pass based on recent weather, but I played the 3 days prior and all 3 other tracks were in great shape. So this is a NAL problem. Go elsewhere until further notice.

Good layout and great staff. Driving range is a joke, on dirt, very narrow and irons only. Sand traps are unplayable, and greens had more ball marks than you could count.

The greens and fairways are immaculate, and the close is overall challenging and fun to play, but their bunkers are truly terrible - they're more like over grown gravel pits - only saw a couple with any sand

Course was way too expensive for the shape it was in. On the back 9 some bunkers were under construction and there were a lot of areas the grass was burnt out and they had replanted and had hay and grass nets up. Also there were a lot of geese and there was goose poop and feathers everywhere. Don't think I would golf here again.

Excellent handmade food for a reasonable price. Blackened chicken fettuccine is awesome, as is the Chicken parmigiana. Comes with fresh bread. Can't wait to try their pizza someday. I don't enjoy the open dining room feel... you have all the golfers and bar crowds walking past your table.
