We had 4 groups go off on 4/24 and not one person told us the course had been fully aerated and not even top dressed,i emailed the general manager with no reply.The course is fantastic but a heads up would have been nice about the condition so we could pick a course that was playable instead of just taking our money.

Probably my favorite public golf course I've ever played, well maintained, challenging layout, nice relatively fast greens. Probably about $10 too much but you're not gonna find anything much nicer in northeast Ohio.

The only reason this isn’t a 1 is because the layout of this course is awesome. Schedule extra time if you book here. Total lack of course management. Round on a Saturday took 5.5 hours and after approaching the course staff they seemed to indicate that was business as usual. Amazing degree of ambivalence. Shame. As previously mentioned, great track, but won’t be back.

For being the first week of "Spring" here in Ohio, the course was beautiful even for being so wet. Came in to buy our maple passes and play nine, ended up playing the Lake nine, immaculate! Can't wait for a great season here!

Nice course, spoiled by crappy, unkempt cart paths plagued with pot holes. The "restaurant" also leaves a lot to be desired. Went there for a golf tournament and had a hamburger. The bun was straight out of an (old) bag and actually fell apart in my hands. Bathroom was nasty too. I know this is a public course, but one would expect a LOT better for a course in a so-called upscale community. Will not be back.

If you appreciate a good, hard Pete Dye layout, you will like this course. It's a little challenging in that some of the holes you have to be in the right part of the fairway to have an unobstructed shot, but it's a golf course that makes you think your way around it. I hope to make it back soon.

World class course. The Maple is where legends are born. Hole 1: a tricky little dogleg left. Good luck hitting this green in 2! Hole 2: narrow as all hell. The woods to the right have cost me thousands of pro-v1s. Buyer beware. Hole 3: if you pipe your tee shot you'll be looking right down on the green. Makeable in 2 but I would recommend laying up because the trap to the left of the green is death. Hole 4: the first of two par 3s. Easily can make it to the green with a 9 iron or wedge just don't go long. Green slopes back towards the tee box so best to hit the front of the green and leave yourself an uphill putt. Hole 5: look out for the tree 20 yards in front and 50 yards to the left of the tee box! Hole 6: deadly dogleg left. Best to take iron off the tee and play for par on this one. Hole 7: an absolute nightmare. Hardest hole on the course. Tries to bait you into driving the green but it's further than it looks. Watch out for logs while driving in the woods. Hole 8: do not try to be a hero. Take a 4 iron off the tee and play for par. Hole 9: 80% of the green is blocked by a tree. I like to play a slight draw into the green to take the tree and trap out of play. I wish Phyllis still worked there she was the best.

I absolutely love Fowlersmill the people are extremely nice there, I got the maple nine pass for 2 months and extended it for all summer long which was 3- 4 months in total. Such a beautiful place especially in the Fall. You have got to play there some time.

Worsr experience i have ever had at a golf course. Two employees lied to me on the phone about the price with the ESPN golf card and get there and was suppose to be free and the charge me for nine holes. After driving an hour to get to the place. Man and women in office were very rude and disrespectful. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Better golf courses elsewhere.

Pro shop staff grumpy and rude. If they have seen 2 drops of rain in the last month it's cart path only. Played 18 holes today and literally ever hole we had 2 mowers in the fairway. When we got to our ball they kept circling around us while we were trying to hit. 20 years of golf never seen anything lo ike it. Another employee with a huge blower drove past us twice blowing grass into our faces! Basically a nice layout ruined by the people who work there.

One of the best golf courses around. Three 9-hole courses always in great condition. Normally room to squeeze a 9 in if you call in advance. And you can't beat the drive in down fairmount!

Greens were great. Tees and fairways were in decent shape. Traps were terrible. Needs some general cleanup, but fairly playable. It's still a great layout. Maybe someday, it will return to it's former glory. At least it's not a walking path and nature preserve that was rumored a while back.

I never write reviews but I am utterly disappointed with my experience at this course. I was very excited coming from the west side about 50 minutes away. I knew coming in that it would cost $60 for 18 thinking that the course would be in prestine condition. Boy was I wrong. The fairways were torn up, I hit multiple balls in the fairway that that landed in what I would refer to as "dirt pots holes" The pace of play was slow but that's acceptable on holiday weekend. I tried ordering a sandwich prior to making the turn and waited close to 30 mins just to re-order.... I would not recommend this course to anyone I know. VERY OVER PRICED and will not RETURN......
