My boss invites me to Firestone occasionally for lunch and a business meeting. The staff are super attentive oh, and the food is always top notch. I've only golfed there a couple times.... and then only the North Course .....But it's all beautiful

Not the greatest experience when visiting a golf tournament. Parking would be first on the list disorganized and unorganized at best. Staff not knowledgeable as to locations of food vendors and restrooms when asked questions. Food overdone and not very good. Camera crews constantly setting up in front of viewing area blocking view of players. Don't understand why other tournaments can be run properly and in an efficency way and this one can't won't be returning here with our group they all agreed this was a mess.

My cousin and I attended the Firestone PGA tournament here 1 year a while back. They had many famous golfers including tiger woods and rory mckillroy. My favorite part of the event was the side events such as the chip in contest, putting contest and long drive contest. All of which entered you into a drawing I believe to win a new cadillac. Would love to go again, given the opportunity.

Had a wonderful time at the Bridgestone Open for one last time - disappointed that the tournament won't be hosted at Firestone anymore, but I think it's a beautiful course and something worth the visit for any golf fan

The private Firestone Country Club is home to three championship courses: the North, South and West. The best known of the trio is the South course, host to many top level tournaments, including US PGA and US Senior PGA Championships, as well as World Golf Championship (WGC) events. Firestone is generally recognised as one of Ohio's top golfing venues, with its well-crafted and challenging courses. However, this is a private club with its courses generally playable only by members and their guests.

Played the South course on 10/8/2017. For this caliber of a country club, the conditions of the greens and fairways was horrid. Greens were rough and full of pitch marks. Fairways were full of divots. The layout is phenomenal, but if I was a member, I would be irate.

Rich in history and impeccably maintained. You need to hit it long and straight.....the rough will eat you up! "The Monster" (#16 South) must be played from the back of the championship tee box and it is a sight to behold. As I drove up to that championship tee box the first time that I played this hole, my playing partner told me that he would buy me a full set of any clubs that I want if I could hit the ball past the ladies' tees. He didn't tell me that it was 399 yards to ladies' tee! Great experience on hallowed golf ground.

Firestone is first class! I have played here as a guest twice and really enjoyed the experience. It is a shame the PGA has decided to stop using this venue. I have been attending the annual tournament for the past 25 years and will certainly miss coming out to watch the pros.

Wonderful golf course well maintained. Privately owned members only golf course. There are golf carts to use to deliver your clubs and yourselves to each hole. There is a beautiful club house here.....also, private. Remember to slow down when driving in the area. The course has the public through way cutting the course in half. The golf carts cross the road here.

This is an amazing place. Three 18 hole courses. It's a Club Corp club for two of the courses. One is public. All great. Site of the Bridgestone world of golf tournament. The meal I had was excellent. Pro shop was packed with inventory. Enjoy!

I went to the bridgestone golf Invitational 2017. It was easy to find the public parking and they drop you off close to the entrance. It was beautiful setting and fun to watch the players. The chicken sandwich was the only thing I didn't like. It was half the size of the bun and on the tough side to eat. Otherwise a very enjoyable time.

I came for the Senior PGA Championship. 9 dollar hamburgers, 9 dollar beers in the first year it being in town. Everyone knows the WGC Bridgestone was here for years and that was a different animal. This was a third of that crowd. PGA needs to do something to increase attendance ! bring in local vendors and do something cool. These galleries are empty besides high dollar people getting trashed.

The "Augusta of the North" - immaculate grounds and pristine playing conditions on any of its three courses and the staff treats you as if you were a returning champion every time. Whether you are a long time member or a first time visitor this place keeps you coming back for more. 5 out of 5 stars for all aspects of this place....go and enjoy!

Part of the ClubCorp Network, Firestone has 3 great golf courses. The North, West and most famous...the South Course which is home to The Bridgestone Invitational. The South Course is a monster at 7,400 yards with tight, tree lined fairways.

There is very little to be said about Firestone, it requires you to be there to take it all in. It is elegant, and filled with rich golf history. When out on any one of the three courses it doesn't feel or look like you are in Akron, Ohio. It's a must do if you are an avid golfer.
