I like this course because it is well maintained for a public course, compared to its price. Snack bar is also good. However, two things I have experienced last 5 years should be seriously taken care of: (1) All back nine players should yield to turn-around groups from 9 hole. I am not sure if back nine players have got permission from the club house. They should not start 10 hole directly without permission; and (2) There are always extremely slow players and each group should be less than or equal to 4 players no matter what.

I don't golf here. I haven't set foot on this course in probably ten years, and that was only because I was chasing my dog in the winter time after she got loose. But I keep getting asked to leave a review because my parents' house is adjacent to the course, and Google Maps only thinks I'm golfing when I'm just there visiting them instead, so I'll leave a neutral three star review. Now hopefully they'll leave me alone because they don't seem to get the message that I haven't been there, no matter how many times I tell them.

This course is flat and tight. Jammed into the middle of the city, you are constantly worried about someone on the next hole hitting you. It was however well kept and we had a Groupon so the price for that was really good.

Unfortunately I'm not going to use this place. I had a bad telephone experience with Mike Tizzano (the person I was asked to call in regards to renting out a facility). I called his number but it didn't go to voicemail. I called again and left a phone number for him to call me. I then realized he wasn't going to be able to reach me at the call back number I provided, so I called back after a few minutes so that I could either leave a different number on his voicemail, or hopefully get lucky and speak to him. Well, he answered quite rudely not caring who could have been on the other end. He yelled, "Tizazano, who's this? You keep calling? Why don't you just leave a message? I'm busy." I was quite shocked. I had never experience such unnecessary bad customer service. He answered the phone this way before I could even speak. I told him I was trying to rent a hall. Then I told him that the way he answered was quite unprofessional. He interrupted me saying that he does not need to talk to me and that he's been in business for 41 years and he hung up. Was he just having a bad day? How could he have been in business for 41 years with such a rude attitude?

Great experience, outing from the VFW, the staff catered to us cranky Vets with smiles. I had trouble reading the greens here, twice. Although I didn't put myself in ideal putting position very often.

One of my go-to courses to get a quick round in. Fairly open course with some of the best kept greens in the area. Solid amenities off the course. A great all-around course to play for all levels of golfers.

Course is not designed well, but is a blast to play. Fairways and rough aren't well maintained, but greens are pretty good for a municipal golf course. Range has mats, which are mediocre, and a grass part, which is mostly sand and poorly maintained. Management is usually very helpful and nice, but there have been a couple of instinces where the employees or management have not been up to par. Often play can get bogged down by a group or two who dont know the concept of a 4-hour round. If you're looking for a place to hit balls or play 9 in the evening, this is the place. Fantastic for a golfer who is trying to get better, as their memberships are inexpensive and definitely worth the money. But I just can't give it 4 stars, the maintenance, sometimes poor staff, and incredibly often slow play force me to give it 3 stars. I love the place, and I hope that this review will help Briardale to fix its problems and become a 4 star course.

The range and course opens at 7 a.m. on Saturday, right? Wrong. I got up early, readied everything and drove up there. I arrived at 8 a.m. The guy at the front desk said they'll open at 9 a.m. I told him that his website and Google say 7 a.m. But it got me nowhere. I'm so disappointed. From previous experience, I should have known better. They don't care if you're a customer. As I left, the grounds crew laughed and motioned 'goodbye'. So rude.

Best greens around. Look for some great deals during off hours like midday during the week. Play can be slow.

First off, the tee time reservation system is over the top. You get redirected to some call center to reserve your tee time, I was on hold for a while. If you cannot make your tee time and forget to cancel, you'll be charged the full rate. As for the course: it's not bad, designed for beginners, not too challenging and is very flat. Course has a driving range and bar, food isn't bad either.
