Well taken care of this course, good greens, fairways and roughs, I've also only ever come in contact with great groundskeepers and general staff, very helpful. The star lost here is because of the crowd this golf course attracts: Many are great with rules, regulations and ensuring fast play, but every so often I run into four- or three-balls that refuse to let a quicker player through.

Don't make a reservation online without calling first. Somehow we made a reservation online in the middle of league play. The starter let us go but made us wait 30 min. Tough, hilly course.

Showed up for a 9:16a tee time this Saturday morning with two others. Was told in the clubhouse that there were no golf carts available. Ok then, how about pull carts? Nope. Don't have those either. But we're free to carry our bags and walk 18. If you're going to book four outings on a Saturday morning, perhaps don't allow me to book a tee time in the first place. What a gigantic waste of time.

For $33 a person you would think that the course would be in better condition. Sand traps are disgusting. Driving range is trashy. My advise.. put some money into the course, please...

Great beginner Par 5 course. The greens are well taken care of, and the staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the fundamentals of golf. One of my fav quick courses.

The course is in great condition and the price is fair. However, with no Marshall pace of play is slow. The group ahead had at least two holes open and did not let anyone play through. To add insult they left one person on nine acting like he was putting while the others went to their cars in the parking lot. When they came back he picked up his ball and they proceeded to hole 10. The whole time everyone was waiting. I later was told "oh they are regulars and probably had some wager" like that is acceptable for slow play. If it were not for a poor standard like that being acceptable the course is a solid 4 star.

This is not a long course by any means, but it's an old gem right in the heart of Cincinnati. Bad shots are penalized and greens are small, making it still very tricky to play. Our league plays there every Tuesday and the staff take great care of us.

Decent course. Fairly priced. Calls for precision over length, and as it was my first time and it is early in the year, I struggled. Greens and fairways were good. Biggest drawback for me: some tee boxes were sloped to where it was hard to find a good spot to stand. I'm used to playing less hilly course and that was s challenge, as well.

Avon is a 100 year old course that was a premier course for many years. Today it is still an excellent course. The course has a variety of challenges. It requires more skill than length. The greens are in great shape. The staff is outstanding. There is a lot to love about this classic course.

Despite this course being smack dab in the middle of a rougher part of town, and catering to a rougher clientele, this course is maintained surprisingly well. Not too long or challenging, but still interesting after playing dozens of times. Prices are fine, the driving range is handy, and the staff are hilarious. Only real issue is the preposterously bad putting green - it's practically on a 45 degree angle.

My daughter participates in the summer long golf clinic here given by "Reaching Out For Kids" and it's awesome. It's free for kids ages 4 & up and they provide everything needed to learn the sport.

Golf course is nice, it is fun and good to be at. The course is well taken care of as well as the golf carts. Nothing to complain about. The price is the same as any other golf course. I would reccomend to go golf here if you cant find any where else!
