Prairie West is an awesome venue for practicing your skills, enjoying a round or planning an event. Brad, Jared and Bruce are very friendly and professional to ensure a great golfing experience. I would highly recommend Prairie West for a fun round of golf, challenging course and great accommodations.

Awful experience I booked a tee time over the phone a couple days in advance for six people on Father's Day. They booked us for back to back tee times, which is what I expected. However, they did not tell me that the tee times they book are only 8 minutes apart. The management at this golf course is terrible and the course itself was very untidy. There were leaves and branches all over the course, it took us longer than it should have to find our balls. On top of this, the holes were backed up with other players trying to play. we had golfers in front of us AND behind making it impossible for them to play through. The club house was getting phone calls because of how bad it was. We were harassed the entire time we were playing our 9 holes. The employee working found us three times telling us we need to be faster. They were saying we were the problem making the holes back up. After the third time he came up to us, we had to point out to him that the guy in front of us was even waiting for the players in front of him, we were clearly not the problem. Overall this was the worst experience I have ever had golfing. we are never golfing there again.

Didn't even get the chance to play the course because Bruce from the front desk had zero interest in helping us book a tee time. For an industry that is supposed to center around service, Bruce really set the bar pretty low. He seemed annoyed when we asked the tee times available, laughed when I asked the rate, and overall had zero interest in helping us out. Busy or not, take the time to help a customer or if your busy express that and apologize. I hope Bruce doesn't act like this all the time.

Great course. Good mix of holes that challenge the best golfers, and don't make it impossible for bad golfers like me to not enjoy. Without a doubt the best greens in the state that I've played and always is year after year. Great job Brad and staff! Love this course.

Walked the course on a hot late afternoon. Found out the hard way that there is 'no' drinking water sources anywhere on the course....what's with that?

Course in great shape although the greens were hard and ran fast....approach shots were not holding on greens making it difficult for low scores...i prefer softer greens

An employee told me I needed to hurry up because his twelvesome were gambling and they were worried the sun was going to set before they finished. Garbage management. Well maintained though. Edit: I did contact the management at that number after it happened. They just brushed me off.

One of the best courses in the Bismarck/Mandan area. The greens are always in excellent condition and the service is very nice. Would be nice if the had a concession cart come around the course...

Decent track, completely flat, but some water holes, some tree holes, some traps. Several very challenging holes and a great course for walking. Greens are hard, but good for putting.

Great layout. The course has it all architecturally and it is a course that is walkable. The clubhouse and pro-shop have a lot to offer, modern and clean. It also has a large dinning area and kitchen available for groups to rent. The best part of the course is its greens. They are the best in the Bismarck, Mandan area in my opinion. I also appreciate the way the grounds crew takes care of the fairway and greenside bunkers. So many courses are eliminating bunkers, which I think is a mistake in that bunker play is an integral part of the game. I also appreciate the way I am treated when I play PW. Its a fun place with a great practice facility, too.
