One of the finest country clubs in the mountains! Fabulous golf course, awesome food and a magnificent clubhouse. It's well managed by Zack Platek, CCM, CCE, Chief Operating Officer and his team. Their fitness center and spa is world class!

Grandfather Golf & Country Club is home to a well-rated and always popular golf course. This tree-lined parkland layout should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. However, this is a private course generally playable only by members and their guests.

Let me first say that the only reason I didn't give the fifth star. Linville Ridge Golf Course right across the street is $100 cheaper to play and the views are over the top incredible. That being said, this course will not disappoint. Beautiful course lots of well placed moving water and ponds with trout in them. My second favorite course in NC next to Linville Ridge. The staff was professional and courteous first class all the way.
