Here you will be able to see the information of people like you who know the services and products of Pelham Bay & Split Rock Golf Courses (Golf) in New York.
Nowadays the firm gets a score of 4.0 stars out of 5 and that score has been calculated on 333 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is really high, and it is based on a large number of scores, so we may think that the assessment is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to place opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Golf is included in the category of Public golf course.
How do you not have drink boxes put on the course in the summer? It was almost 100 degrees out and not a drop of water to be found. Course was in decent shape for a public course. Not to many exciting holes here. Also why can't I drive to my car to drop off my stuff?
Awesome!! Beautiful venue Excellent service.
Beautiful
I booked my wedding date 8/14/2016 in October 2015. The website only showed positive reviews. I met with John Braca who sold me on various points that I was interested in. I loved how the place looked and was assured the food and customer service was top notch. Sadly after given various expectations many of them where not met. I felt at times I was chasing them down to get simple answers. The day of there was a lot of confusion as to who would organize the walk. I asked if we should have a rehearsal and was told my party was small so we wouldn't need a rehearsal. It was caos the day of my wedding trying to announce the bridal party. Noone was seeing to our guests needs. Noone email showed them were everything was. I was told my guests would be greeted with a glass if champagne. There were several things that never came to fruition on my day. The seller didn't match the delivery. My guests weren't aware of the various difficulties so for the most part they enjoyed the party. The food was adequate. Nothing in comparison to how fantastically they bill everything. I wouldn't recommend this venue to a friend or family member
Beautiful place to celebratw your special moments of your life. I recomend it . It is a beautiful place .....
Very impressive.
Casual course, somewhat convenient from the city.
My from Brazil, the big best rock golf
experience was fine. booked a 7:08 tee time expecting what would be a 4hr round but the start was backed up already! course was well maintained, some greens felt more like fairway but overall good. there was however quite a bit of litter which on many occasions were mistaken for balls!
Love the golfing, good food, and great staff. Bar tender made a mean drink to.
The staff is excellent
The new crew at Pelham/Split Rock are getting it right! In years past, even when the courses were at their best, the establishment warranted a 0 on a 1-10 for all aspects of customer service. Now, my experience ranges from 9-10. Starters went from surly to welcoming and amusing. Pro shop desk went from fumbling to ordered, helpful and upbeat. Example 1: Couple of Saturdays ago, I called up at noon and asked how things looked at 2pm for a single. Got the report: tee sheet wide open, but "playing about 5 hours now, should be 4 by the time you get here." It was indeed. Example 2: Showed up for a sunup round booked online at Pelham two Thursdays ago, and the course had just been punched and sanded. Shop had already moved us to Split, and told some folks who insisted on Pelham, "You're not going to be able to putt the greens, so are you sure?" Excellent. Realize, this is a municipal facility rivaled only by Bethpage for the number of rounds/course that are played annually. So you're going to get all kinds of folks on the courses. And, like all public-access courses in the tri-state area, a high percentage of them should not be allowed on until they have lessons in speeding play, raking bunkers, replacing divots and repairing ball marks. As a result, you're going to see tee boxes in need of critical help (particularly forward tees). But you will find greens in good, sometimes excellent, condition. And you're likely to say what my friend Jim did on his first morning at Split Rock: "Wow, this is really NYC's hidden gem." Again, two thumbs up for the new crew. They've made Pelham/Split Rock a viable option, not a compromise.
The Pelham Bay Golf Course and adjoining Split Rock, are two of the six courses owned by New York City and operated by American Golf. The usually higher rated Split Rock layout is a well-regarded golf course, which combines a good layout with several attractive holes and features. This tree-lined parkland layout will test most facets of your game, and should provide a round with plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges. Worth visiting if you are in the area.
Very nice but it start getting with the mosquitoes at dusk
Pleasant and relaxing. 5 stars thank you
I went to plan my wedding. They give a lot and have a plan for unpredictable weather.
Played twice. First time was okay, unnecessarily slow group in front of us using a range finder then would squib a ball 30 yds. Second time was brutal. Paid $30 for 18, cart and two drinks, thought I was getting a deal. Turns out...huge wait to get to the first tee. Then ended up with a 3.5 hour half round of 9. Marshall came by and was like "what do you want me to do?" And really, he was right. They just over book beyond belief and you can't get a round in. No policing whatsoever. Will only play this course again if it calls for rain.
SplitRock is the hardest golf course in NYC. Most of the par4 plays long...you can definitely score well on the par 5s. Your Driver must stay in Fairway to score...
Poor conditions not worth the money they charge no discounts for Bx residents
Great
second time there always like the experience , one descriptancy this server did not the menu.
This is a gem of a club. Pristine and elegant. Friendly service.
Beautiful place. Delicious food.
Nice course, great staff, brilliant bbq... need showers
Can’t handle big crowds. Expect a long slow round
Don't expect to much.
Excellent
I had my wedding and reception here August 2016. This place is absolutely perfect!!! The staff caters to your every need and they are beyond professional. The surroundings are perfect for pictures, it's private so you don't have to worry about safety or random people hanging around. Compared to other venues, it's really reasonable. This place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend to anyone who's looking for an outside venue for their event. Ask for John!!
I love this golf course. The Split Rock is more challenging and much more fun than the Pelham Bay.
Hi, i played with a friend on the pelham course and i can't recommend to go there and play there. Here are the reasons: Pro shop stuff very unfriendly! the course was not in a good condition, 3 greens we're closed and we had to put on the Fairway, the putting green we're in a bad shape. Also they we're to many flights on the course, we stocked on each hole and had to wait at least 5-10min to tee off. But the major point is, some flights drunk alcohol (f.e. Whiskey, etc...) and the guy's we're so drunken on the course... This is a totally no go!!
For a public golf course it's not that bad
Course was in ok shape but the mosquitos were so brutal. Can’t even tell you how bad it was. Our foursome and everyone we saw got absolutely crushed. They sell bug spray for a reason...you are going to need it. We went through a whole can. Also not the worst turkey sandwich I’ve ever had.
thought it was well maintained and service was excellent . yes there was a wait - I had a 9:00 tee time Saturday- yes there were 2-3 foursomes on the tee - I teed off @ 9 :30 - but it was a beautiful day sandwiched between the rain ,cold temps and Father's Day -looked like everybody and their mother was trying to get out there- I think the pro shop did a great job getting everybody out there - I had a great day although I would have liked to have played better
improved and Improvements Constantly being made.
Fairways and greens on great shape. Also, great price with lumch
Great course. Had a lot of fun. Beginner golfer
The Pelham course is in good shape except for the green on 14th which has always been a problem, and having only blue flags makes it hard to to know pin position if you don’t have a laser scope or superhero vision. Left me with a lot of longer than normal putts, not too fun but should be an easy fix with DIFFERENT COLORED FLAGS. One thing that could make this course worth it....FLIP THE FRONT AND THE BACK. The 18th would be 9 and have great access to get food and drinks, and the par 5 9th would be a great finishing hole with the club house in the back ground. Flip the front and back and I would play and recommend this course always, but for now...meh
Great challenging course....but if the mosquitoes don't get you the flies will....wear pants....
Played 5/30/18. Had a tee time for Pelham but the starter told us there was an outing going on out on the course?? I guess we were supposed to squeeze in somewhere in the middle of the outing. I don't get it!? We went to Split Rock and tried there. Got out ok. The course itself is decent enough but the mosquitos were already out in force!
Very nice
I loved it
One of the worst golf experiences I have ever had. Do not use Golf Now to make your reservation. They don't accept it and charge you twice and I was unable to get refunded. The staff were high school kids that demonstrated no class when we asked for help. I think this is the first review I have ever posted in my life, to give you context on just how poor the place was run. It's really no stars.
I have played here many times . This course has seen better times. The faraway grass in places looks like it never saw water. Poorly repaired spots . Wonder what has happened ? Maybe need to replace the head grounds man.
•We value you!
Private events
Never go there
Go for a hike
Wedding services aren't the best. Pricing, scheduling, venue not flexible enough. Brooklyn location is better!
Great practice green area, course was in great shape even though it rained the prior day
My wedding was September 8th 2018 at Pelham Split Rock and couldn’t be more pleased! John, the event manager was absolutely amazing! First off, this venue is not a typical reception venue which is why we chose it in the first place, we wanted to give our guests a different experience than the normal catering hall and host a complete outdoor reception. Split Rock allowed us to execute this vision perfectly! First off, the venue is completely yours for your entire event, for us, John ensured we had the entire day reserved for ourselves and our design team! We utilized all the spaces and our guests loved it! There was flexibility for them to move around indoors and outdoors, we had our beautiful outdoor dance floor, cigar rollers and even a food truck pulled up right to our dance floor! John ensured that everything we asked for was executed, he went above and beyond to customize our food, desserts and experience! Where else can you go and ask to change a menu completely and be met with “ok, sure we can do that for you”. Speaking of the food it was delicious and plentiful, our guests had nothing but compliments on everything that was being served, from the cocktail hour to the specialty desserts from Conti’s who also did my wedding cake which was incredible and delicious! We met with the chef beforehand at a private tasting and he worked with us on all of our selections, he was also so delightful and pleasant! The drinks were also on point and I never had an empty glass thanks to John, he was always watching my glass and ready with a refill at the drop of a hat. This venue is so flexible and open minded, they are willing to work with your budget and offer you an all-inclusive package that really is a good bang for your buck. On top of all of this, we took a risk on an outdoor reception and unfortunately were met with a little drizzle just as the reception was about to start, I must say John worked his butt off to reformat our outdoor setup inside and then back outside when it stopped raining! I honestly don't’ know how this would have played out without him. Overall, if you’re looking for a unique experience, with a great staff and food, this is the place to be! I would do it all over again (minus) the rain! Thank you John and Split Rock!!!!!!
I was very disappointed in the service. I had my wedding at this place and it was horrible. After I was told in the beginning that they only do one event a day I was told later on that they would be having another wedding earlier that day. The event coordinator stated we will have one hour to set up and when my husband got there the other wedding party was still there. We were left with 30 minutes to set up. Needles to say my wedding started late. Guest were telling me they servers were rude and at the end of the night The server stated I had lots of cake left over. I told her I will take it home but when she brought it out she put it on the table without giving me anything to put it in. I had to ask and even then there was attitude. This place is just horrible and not worth the money. Luckily the guest had fun because the DJ did such a great job.
Another wonderful place to practice, I love their golf course. I really like their prices.
It's beautiful, would go back
I am not a golfer, so I can't speak to the golf course, but the space as a whole is beautiful. I went to a wedding here and we were impressed with how well everything was set up and how pretty a backdrop the golf course made for the ceremony. For the dinner and reception we had a beautiful tent with christmas lights. It was a really nice way to keep the entire event going easily.
Love these courses. NYC jewels
Good vibe
Play was really slow but the course is in good condition
Price is ok, since they no longer have super twilight
Best golf in NYC
Much better shape than I remember. Now if they can do anything about the monster mosquitoes it would be better
The course isn’t a far car ride away if you’re coming from the city. The prices are reasonable and you get a free beer and lunch with every round. Weekends can sometimes get a little busy in the summer.
Highly accessible 36 holes of good golf at reasonable rates.
Went there for a party. Venue was very clean. Wait staff was very helpful. Food was good.
Beautiful Country Club golf course very scenic and relaxing
Tee box was not good.
A nice place to come out to learn and practice
GOOD
Many many many mosquitoes
Rarely get out on time, never any water on the course and there is only one cart girl for two courses. It's a shame cause the course is in pretty good shape.
MOSQUITOES MOSQUITOES MOSQUITOES Split Rock Review, can not play the front 9 in any manageable way. No warning from the pro, every golfer was giving up, not at all playable. Asked for refund, Split Rock blames the city.."oh they sprayed last week" no they didn't and the course should not at all operate the front 9 in these conditions. Have played SR more than 20 times before, will not return. Ruined a day off with friends. BS
Come on, where else can you play a round of golf and get lunch and 2 beverages for 45 dollars, granted the course is not in tip top shape yet, but I'd say early to late may and through the summer its in tip top shape, plus you have 2 courses to choose from, me and my friend like to play split rock because less people play on it cause its the harder course, and it takes longer to play on pelham cause so many people are on there. And if you want to play a quick round (3 1/2-4hrs)split rock is your course, also if you want to play at a decent time so you don't have to spend all day there try to get out by no later than 930am on a weekday. On another note everyone on the staff is nice and polite.
Great courses, Split Rock is the toughest and most fun! Pelham Bay is easy and most crowded because of the ease. Weekday deal comes with a round of golf, a meal, 2-drinks AND the cart for about 45$--best deal in NYC-area! On average, with my experience of playing at this course, never have I averaged more than 5-hrs—even starting on prime time on weekdays (can’t say the same about weekends since I haven’t played weekends on this course).
An excellent day. Course is in great shape and challenging. 18 holes in just under 4 hours. Super deal for greens fees, cart and lunch. Ask when you sign in.
Fun NYC golf course, both Pelham and Split Rock are fun.
Split Rock is best bang for your bucks. $39 for lunch, 18 holes and two drinks. Weekday afternoon golf.....
The course is great. Last time I went out it was in great condition. The round and meal deal is maybe the best overall deal u can get in nyc.
Great place to stày relax
Greens in great shape, not bad for a public course in The Bronx!
Laid back staff. Classic, old school, local type of place. Just the way I like it.
Nice place and nice people..
Beautiful !!
We just had our engagement party over this past weekend and WOW what an amazing time!! The food was delicious, the staff was great!! They made sure we had everything we needed. Jessica and Tori were so amazing!
If you like golf you will love Pelham Bay & split Rock Golf Courses
The staff in the pro shop and grill areas was extremely pleasant and professional. My group had an 8:12 tee time on Sunday at Split Rock and we waited about 25 minutes to tee off. The course seemed in good shape. The rough wasn't too much of a penalty helping facilitate play. My only objections to this challenging course are twofold- one for the green keepers and one for the players. For the greenskeepers, the putting surfaces are extremely slow- you have to really hammer putts of any length. The biggest issue for the course is the discourteous and unprofessional habits of many who play there. Based on the condition of the traps, both fairway and greenside, it's clear that most players cannot be bothered raking them out. The worst habit is the failure of players to repair ball marks on the green. Every green was littered with ball marks making putting a chore. I'm sure this is a challenge for the greenkeeping staff. Perhaps a few signs around the course might embarass these idiots into changing their destructive habits, as I'm sure they're the first to complain about how the "staff" doesn't take care of the course!
Their system doesn't sync with supreme golf, I showed up on time for my tee time, waited in line for 30 minutes to pay, was told they didn't have my reservation. Person behind the front desk didn't know how to use the golf software, couldn't give me a tee time price, he changed the price 3 times before I said you know what, nevermind... Waste of my time. Will not be coming back here.
The split rock course is very challenging for the drives and has long holes. Bring a lot insect repellent to the course
Pretty good condition. Service can be better.
Course wasn't too busy for a Sunday, but the fairways & greens had some rough spots
I played split rock Fathers day. The play was slow but not terrible. The threesome in front of us was playing from the blues. One of their players couldn't get off the tee box and should have been playing the red or at least the whites. The ranger would not even talk to them. I find this at most city course and don't know what he rangers do except get to play free. The course is in good shape. I remember playing both these courses before Guliani put the irrigation in and they were dogs. They need to work on the areas off the first cut. You get better value playing daily fee courses out east but you also have to drive an hour both ways so it's a trade off. If it wasn't for the toll bridge, I'd play them more often.
Great golf course. A little slow. Ranger needi
So disappointed when I went to view this beautiful venue for my wedding. I feel in love with the outside tented space because it was different than other places. However, when my fiancé and I went to visit we felt extremely rushed and not welcomed at all. The guy had us waiting for 20 mins before attending us and gave us a quick tour of the place without explaining anything. At one point my fiancé and I were still looking around the tent and the guy left us. When we went to sit down to discuss further details he simply just stared at us. If there was another event going on that day he should have rescheduled us instead of making us feel like we were a bother. It's such a shame because I really loved the venue however I can only imagine how it would be the day of the wedding when the tour was such a bad experience.
Great value, two courses to choose from. Great combo deals
Nice course, very forgiving. Mosquitoes are horrible. Saw one player walk off the course. Spray well with OFF, I was fine.
Great place! Quaint, secluded but very accessible from every major highway.
Good course.
The cleaning lady in the women's bathroom was so helpful and she does her job great the service she gave us was amazing she really knows how to treat people.
Great golf course.
Great Staff, Great place to play
Miserable! Greens were horrible! Some even had track marks on them! Disgraceful! They should close this course until the Spring if they continue to ignore the course conditions!
Parking lot to far especially with heals and in the dark
Well kept grounds. Great service.
Celebrating friend wedding, definitely it's a great place, and a very helpful professional staff.
Alot of mosquitoes but great area
course is great shape. staff was very nice
Just played split rock earlier in the week. Course was in decent shape. However, in the years I have played here, I have never seen the mosquito problem as bad as it was this time. You CANNOT play here without bug spray. Period.
Watch full video if interested please pm me to get started now.
Beautiful experience and fun for all ages.
We played Split Rock. The play was painfully slow even for a weekend. The starter was trying to rush people off the tee and the group behind us hit into us when we hadn’t event taken our second shot. The course needed to be mowed and the mosquitos were unbearable. We had bug spray and they were still swarming.
Worst golf course ever. Never play here. They do not maintain the course. Spend your money somewhere else.
Nothing but phenomenal. My wife and I got married this past Saturday, the entire ceremony and reception was seamless and absolutely remarkable. The food was great, the décor was great, but the most important thing for me was the SERVICE. John Bracca Director of Events, Edwin Maitre D, and Julissa were spectacular hosts!!! And gave us a great service to the wedding party and guests!!! THANK YOU!!! WE WILL DEFINITELY RECCOMMEND!!!
I'm a golf nut. I play 2 or 3 times per week. I've played pretty much every course in the tri-state area and I'll tell you... If you live in Manhattan there isn't a better course you can play at a more reasonable rate. Is it Bethpage? No. But it also doesn't take 6 hours to play and it's 23 minutes from downtown without traffic. The tee boxes are best up and the bunkers can be better... But for $40 with a cart???!!! There's nothing around to contend with Split Rock. Period.
I went to celebrate the 1st comunuon of my friend Twins...
Where do I begin? John and Jessica went above and beyond for my welcome baby shower. I was in a jam where my original venue fell thru. I was freaking out, with just a few days till my event, they were able to accommodate me. They were very detailed, patient and hands on. John made sure to call in on facetime while he was on holiday, to make sure everything was good to go. Jessica was there bright and early overseeing the staff, which were all amazing as well. The bartender Johnathan was so down to earth and his drinks were on point. The set up, environment and food were amazing. The kitchen staff out did themselves, my guest are still raving about how delicious the food was. You can tell it was fresh and not frozen like some places. I can go on forever about Splitrock, it was an awesome experience. We were treated like royalty. I can't wait to have future events at Splitrock.
Great shape good pace of play
Great track . DO NOT GO ON WKNDS
Pelham is the easier of the 2 courses. Split Rock is a well designed, challenging par 70. The problem with Split Rock is that it's full of nasty critters that bit and suck blood. We're talking flying bugs and mites. Horrible! I wish they'd spray the rough regularly. A day on and I'm still suffering from the bites! ....and I hope that I haven't contracted the dreaded Lime Disease!! I will not be playing Split Rock until they assure me that the course has been sprayed regularly. The reason for my low rating is essentially this. No complaints about the course design & the hoapitality.
Hey Gary, this place has plenty of things wrong with it but c'mon, don't complain about course conditions when you played the course in januaray or february! Customer service here is abysmal. IT's obvious that whatever investment bank runs American Golf is more interested in banquets, weddings and outings, all those facilities are excellent. As for the golf course, you have starters that don't know what a tee time is, rangers who are there solely to get their free golf and make no attempt to monitor pace of play, and practice greens that are actually nice except for the fact that they don't seem to want to cut holes or buy the practice flags for them. The layout of these courses is pretty good and for a few weeks every year when the planets align and conditions are great they are really nice golf courses. But there is so little attention paid to detail and it's quite frustrating. I only play them as much as I do because as a city slicker without a car, they are easily accessible by bus and subway. But van courtland is even more accessible and they are making great strides there with treating their golfers good so that may be my new course of choice for 2013
Nice golf course
Good afternoon
Poor course condition and course management. Send foursomes every 5 min, so the course is always backed up. Expect to spend 6-7 hours for 18 holes.
Attended a baby shower here. Banquet area is well kept. Staff was cordial. Great place for a mid sized event.
I had my H.S senior prom here last week in their catering house. To say their golf course is nice and clean as well as a beautiful place to take pictures and to celebrate special occasions.
Absolutely terrible experience playing split rock. Front nine had a terrible outing of degenerates drinking and leaving beer cans all over the course that took 4 hours to ge through the front 9. I asked the ranger at the back nine turn to send someone out to moderate pace of play and he told me no and just sat there playing bejewel on his phone. Was doing the same thing when I gave up after the back nine and drove in. People pay money and take time out of their weekend to come out and play your course, it’s your job to make sure pace is fair to everyone out there. People running this place have zero integrity for their course.
The venue was perfect. The tent was elegant the food and the service was wonderful. The wait staff was courteous an efficient
Nice places to play golf
Mosquitoes were terrible.
Very pricey
Great place to golf on weekdays, weekends can get pack need to show up early for tee time. Great price, comes with a meal and two drinks. Cant beat it, food is great too.
Great events here!!
Great course Good deal with 2 drinks and lunch carts but when you order your food by phone they never pick up your phone it takes almost hours, what a terrible woman working in Bar and restaurant there is two women really hates black hair and Asian people both of them really nice with white hair ppl I had really bad experience with this women’s, she act like we asking for free -0 ratings for both of them ,
Cute!!
Played this course on a beautiful Friday afternoon. It was a nice course don't understand why a lot of people gave the course a bad review. The greens need work. At times there were tire marks and a lot of sand filled divots the size of a city pot hole. For the price I don't feel it was that bad. The pace of play was fast even though the group in front of us were walking and we rode on carts. There were times when we caught up to the group at the par 3 but didn't have to wait a long time for them to play the hole and move on. I've played at multiple course and the pace of play was horrible. But the course was well worth the money.
My sister has her wedding here and the service and location were very exceptional.
Good deal for golfers nice courses
I had my wedding at Split Rock and it was an amazing place! The wedding package, accomodation, the crew, the food was beyond amazing. They include two assitants for me and one male assistant for my husband! We had a blast!
Beautiful in the spring time
Nice layout, basic, can't believe cost of round at public courses in NYC!
Who is work outside he was really strange person we bought 4 players and 2 guests so, we brought 3 carts. But he was block the way without asked to club house. There is good course. But he was make ruined us that day.
Nice place
I understand this is a public course, but come on, 6 hours to play a round when you get off before 8am and pay $75 is absolutely ridiculous. I strongly suggest you stay away...even if you drive an hour out of your way, you'll get home quicker and play a much nicer course for the same amount of money
I'm not sure why everyone rated this facility Poor-Fair. I think that people are forgetting that this is a NYC muni course. If you can play any NYC muni in under 5 hours, consider it a blessing. Actually, if you can play MOST public courses in 5 hours or under it's a great day. It's a basic rule of golf that as the day progresses, the course gets more packed so if you want to play faster make the effort play earlier. Also stop acting like this is the Masters or US Open and play ready golf. Have your club selection ready to go when it's your turn and read your putt while the other members of your group are hitting. Split Rock is by far the nicest NYC muni course. It's challenging enough to test the better golfer, but not too tough to over penalize off target shots. Overall, it's a fantastic value and definitely worth a try. Pelham Bay is not as nice, but is still a fun course to play, especially for those golfers who may spray the ball a bit. Pelham Bay is kept open all winter, hence it's generally in worse condition to start the season. Again, keep in mind this is a NYC muni course, if you expect conditions worthy of a country club...join an actual country club!
Pelham is a great local course. Nice and open and there are a couple holes you can get after. The pace of play is the heartache. Expect a 5 to 6 hour round. They could use an extra beverage cart also. They always have 1 girl for both courses
Quick visit cool place
Private And Beautiful Location
My favorite public county course plus an amazing golfers special, played a round a few weeks ago was open and course was surprisingly in pretty good shape for the time of year
Too many mosquitoes
Beautiful place with everything
Mosquitoes were unbearable...even with spraying myself every couple of holes, I couldn’t bear it. Walked off after 9. Came home with 100 plus bites..they must be ammune
Nice place
I attended a wedding there. Wonderful service. Couple told me that everything went off without a hitch. They were pleased. As a guest, I loved it.
Great place for events.. Very elegant
Too many bugs
Awesome!
This place is truly a hidden gem! The place was beautiful indoors and outdoors. Super clean and well kept. The bridal suite was amazing and i loved the chilled wine and snacks they set up for me. Amazing! The service was great. The best part was the price---- super reasonable!! John and his team did a great job. Despite the no-shows, our wedding was perfect! I had a great time and the food!!!!! wasss amazing!!!! yes! lol needless to say i definitely recommend this place to anyone :)
Nice day out.
We have been playing Split rock forever and thus seen it evolve from typical NYC "Muni" to a attractive public golf facility. Our experience yesterday was really special. For some reason while there were about 4 foursomes lined up at Pelham's first tee Split Rock was deserted. My friend and I went out at 10 am as a twosome with a cart and finished in 3 1/2 hours! Course condition was excellent. Traps were freshly raked, fairways cut and greens rolling smooth and true. Once out in the back nine you'd swear you were at a Westchester County private club.Only complaint from a hacker like me was the fairly high rough.Guess this is a result of all the rain we've had recently. The real bummer at Split is the loss of magnificent tree next to ninth green which was a victim of Sandy. I'm told it was well over 200 years old and a Bronx icon.
Loved everything! It's safe to say that Julissa is very creating and truly passionate about her work. The details seem very delicate and perfectly put together. I would definitively recommend her to anyone who's planning an important event. Excellent job Julissa!
Had a great time the food was okay the service was excellent and the place was clean and near Golf Course very nice
