This Golf is classified in the category of Public golf course.
Fantastic parking, nice bar, great for wedding parties, bar mitzvah, or any upscale event, very picturesque settings.
Very nice course. Nice greens and layout. Will definitely play again.
Beautiful
Staff was very rude. They wanted to kick us off after the first hole, claiming we were taking too long, however we were still waiting for the group in front of us. Man named Ted “head ranger” was following us through out the whole course, after every hole he would say keep it going, was very unsettled . Felt rushed and could not play well. Would not play there again! From reading the other reviews they seem to do this a lot.
Party hosted here was spectacular.
I just had a full size red sapper dinner, well seasoned with veg, peas and rice.
Course sucks and very expensive to play
price is fair.
At the end of Flatbush avenue there is a public golf course called Marine Park. It's a Robert Trent Jones design. Built on top of a landfill this is a great course to learn to play or get out during the summer days. Very friendly staff. Encouraging and organized starter (Bruno) is eager to teach patrons proper etiquette. Flat and long course, great to walk! Check it out.
Getting a star alone says it all
GREAT SPOT!!! LOVED THE ATMOSPHERE.
Pretty boring but the view or area was nice
Well i didn't go out to play golf, but i did have photo shoot indoor and outdoor. Must say staff there was very pleasant grass was well kept and very green. Like the place a lot might have to go take a few swings there as well.
Nice course, play is a bit slow.
Good to visit
Great place to enjoy the summer weather
Fun day with son at mp golf course
This is a fun, playable, well maintained and affordable Brooklyn golf course set in sand dunes near the Atlantic ocean. The holes are flat and straight for the most part. The people working there are polite and competent, if not overfriendly, but hey, it NYC! I was joined with two other guys who were very pleasant. Bring bug repellant, shades, a sense of humor and some basic golf skills and enjoy. I played on a Monday and did not feel rushed. Good golf etiquette by other players. A real find for golf lovers.
Awesome course. Very friendly management.
Great place to go
It was ok
Beautiful place
This park is trying to clean up. After 7 years the building that houses a center for geriatrics with 2 bathrooms and many millions of $ is complete. This new facility to me is a waste since I see no real activities going on here. They offer seniors play time on the broken concrete tennis courts that are not clean, lazy players leave balls and cans all over it. There is no night lights or anyone to watch clean up or time play. There are basketball courts which do have players as late as 1am. Cricket players, baseball teams use this park NO ONE CLEANS up their food, cups, leave behind broken chairs, etc. Where is someone to watch over this? Concerts are offered in the summer. Other events come--Let's see if those new bathrooms stay open for this. We were honored to house the piano from CityOfHope in June 2013. It has many rules which are never followed but mostly they annoy us with cops at night to stop the dogs from running. There are "supposed" areas that dogs are allowed in but no one clearly states this. Bikes come by constantly with runners on broken paths of concrete. Plenty of parking lots which are not lit well.
It was fun.
Wide open and easy. However it's what you would imagine a golf course would be like if it were maintained by nycha, especially driving range
Considering the location, they have made this into a nice track. The greens are always in good condition. Some of the holes are a little boring - straight, wide with big greens - the first and second are pretty much the same. With a little money spent on cleaning up the paths, taking away the rubble on 3 and putting in some good sand, some fairway bunkers on 1 and 2, then this place could be great. Better than Dyker.
Love every moment in this golf course. Par 72, challenging greens, every kind of shots has to be made.
Very well kept course, friendly staff, a gem to have such a location in Brooklyn.
They are not welcoming
Keep in pretty good condition but too many players on the course so be ready for a 5 hour round
Amazing experience! Great staff and wonderful environment.
Nice
Great place, would go again.
Golf! Greens in great shape. Open wide. Wish there were less people but its Brooklyn golf after all
Pace of play is painfully slow, will not go back.
Hate to say this and give Marine Park a 1 star review - because the course, the owner and pro shop staff are super great. But: Stay away from this course because the "ranger" is a complete jerk. I think they said his name is Ted? I'm not 100% sure tho - older gentleman, that's all I can remember. He was actually playing golf behind me during twilight today (since when did a "ranger" get to also play while "rangering"? lol), but then he, all of sudden, became "someone who works here" (even though the pro shop staff said they didn't have a ranger out on the course..?) and proceeded to berate me, ask for my ticket and "lecture" me on how a golf course "works" (I've been playing since I was 3 and have have been both a member of various clubs over the years and have also worked as a caddy at some pretty upscale places to earn money for college during high school). This all happened as I was actually waving him thru the hole (yes. lol!) just so I didn't hold him up, as I just wanted to play as a single at 6PM. (I'm a scratch player and have played on a couple of mini tour events as an amateur and just wanted to relax). I hope they deal with this guy quickly and remove him from his role as a "ranger", as it totally ruins what could be a pretty ideal place to play within the city limits, if you want to play during the weekdays. It's a beautiful course and the staff and owner have been putting in extensive work to improve the course overall. But it's just not worth the risk having someone (who looks like the are simply playing behind you) all of a sudden become a 'ranger" without even identifying themselves as such. Playing golf in NYC is hard enough and so to risk coming out so far via Lyft or Uber (+/- an extra $40/50 bucks each way without a car) and have to deal with someone like this just isn't worth the extra hassle. Terrible experience. (The pro shop staff were apologetic and even refunded me my twilight green fee, but I was still out $45 for a Lyft fee to get out there in the afternoon in the first place due to surge pricing today, plus the cost of booking off work for a day - just to try and relax! (I'm a freelancer) At the end of it all, all I wanted to do was just leave the place. (I usually always stay for a couple of beers after playing.)
Excellent golf course in the heart of Brooklyn.
Not so great but its a nice park .
Every year the change to the best way to serve the golfer . Plus the course is in a good condition
Very good municipal golf course, links style long 7000+ from the farthest tees, practice range, putting & chipping greens,. Decent pro shop & club house (happy hours), latest teaching technology, friendly staff. I think its one ofvtge best deals in NYC if you play golf.
The pro shop staff members are extremely rude and unhelpful. The fairways are beaten up. Don't come here.
Great course. They invested alot of money and it shows. Crowded most of the time for a reason.
I played here on New Year's Day 2019 after some heavy rain and the course, though wet, was is really good condition. The greens were rolling as close to true as one could hope for. The course itself can be pretty tough when the wind picks up. I look forward to playing here again in the height of the golf season!
Very nice public golf course
Fantastic
We were held 20 minutes past our start time. We paid X amount for a before noon tee time and after noon the price drops $10-15. I made a mental note and that was that. I wasn’t gonna say anything, but then it took 5.5 hours to play because of the traffic in front of us and and lack of motivation from the rangers. I went to complain to the pro shop and they wrote me off, said the pace is out of their control. Didn’t apologize for the delay or care that the group in front of us was empirically drunk. I didn’t want a refund- I just wanted to be credited tthe afternoon discount because of delay and pace. They said, “only if I come back and ranger for them.” I walked out.
Nice
Always a good time at this course, tee time was 30 mins late but the day made up for it. Greens kept up well, lots of construction going on...which wasnt in the way but it was there...solid day, solid city course.
We had a lovely time
Pretty good track for a muni. Greens are in good shape and pace of play on a weekend was good. Would return if in the area.
Solid public course, reasonable prices, and on the longer side. Has an iron-only driving range. Cart paths are torn up but otherwise course is in decent condition.
The mosquitos ate us alive but otherwise the place was a real, hole in one. Good prices, great course, very nice staff.
Here today, course is coming along nicely, the staff are doing all the greens, all have been punched and sanded, some temp greens in play. The 9th fairway was also being aerated, not sure if the others are getting this treatment. Happy to report because of this work I got a discounted fee, way to go #marineparkgolf Should all be good in a week or so and in 2 weeks the greens should be back to there best.
Remove colored tees. Put the handicaps on the tee boxes where a golfer could reasonably be expected to play in about 4 hours. Regardless, the best course and staff in the city.
Links golf course, driving range, practice green
great layout greens are a bit too fast for the 1960 slope design of the greens friendly pro shop staff enjoyable day
Worked here played here great Service amazing green
Great ambiance...
Nice place,well kept
The course is in great shape. Play was a bit slow today.
Wow the course is in great shape and so much of a challenge enjoyed it thanks
Love this place. An escape from the hustle and bustle of Brooklyn. Nice mini golf and driving range. Good pitch and put as well.
Fabulous!
Great course and the changes are well appreciated
Taking price into account ($40 weekend walking), this is the best public course I've played within 30 minutes (no traffic - play early) of manhattan. Links course with zero trouble off the tee. Large elevated greens with good undulation. Like all NYC public courses, play early.
Ok
Great view

Good course
Despite the rumors, this golf course was in fantastic shape. I played 18 here on Saturday and had a great time. Plus, I was pretty content with my 84. Considering that Sandy was less than a year past, this course showed little to no signs of damage. Fairways were plush and the greens were running smooth. This was my first time playing here, but it was obvious the owner (whom I met briefly) is doing an amazing job at making improvements. A course that is flat and open has it's benefits for many golfers, but can be too easy and appear boring to others. One smart solution that I noticed was they created large mounds of soil covered in fescue along the edges of the holes. These mounds not only acted as a clever way to create hole separation and a more appealing terrain, but also increased the difficulty if you're shot went astray. I can also assume that these dirt mounds (some towering 15-20 feet high) would act as protection against another super storm. My advice for any golfer in Manhattan or Brooklyn is to try this course out. They are running a nice operation over there. I may be playing some late fall golf here, and Marine Park will definitely be in rotation for next season too. Enjoy & play well. P.S. - Thank you to the owner of this course who treated my friends and I to some Class A hospitality.
Great golf course near the water, wide open fairways, the perfect outing on a summer day.
Love all the improvements. Great place to play.
We rented there party room for a charitable fundraier. The space is adjacent to the club house bar. It was perfect.
Visited there today. Love the green layout. Met the General Manager Mr Steven.
Had a wonderful day and an excellent round of golf. Staff was definitely helpful throughout the game.
Excellent track especially considering the location in Brooklyn NY Tee to green very straightforward outside of the potential for Wind. The greens on the other hand are hellacious Quick and undulating like I haven't seen outside of a tour event. Staff is friendly enough If booking on golf now or another online app double check your receipts at the pro shop There was some confusion whether I had paid or not. Bring sunscreen and bug spray and you will be good to go.
We'll call it a stroke because every time I miss I feel like i'm going to have one.
Big, u can't rent yr own tent space with food and drink service. Plenty of parking. Can have parties ,weddings, or just a golf day with family and flood and drink.
Cool been coming here since childhood
What can I say this place is great the greens are well maintained on the weekend they have cheap group lessons usually taught by a PGA pro. My only issue is the amount of people that come to this course getting a decent time can be a pain. On a side note the bars/food area is great I definitely recommend the bacon egg and cheese here. They staff is also super friendly.
Good public course on LI.
Course needs a little upkeep, but challenging and well maintained
BCFLC hosted there 2nd annual "Ed Towns" Golf Classic event. We had great time. Thank you to staff they very professional and the food was good.
We went to the range. It's was very casual. I was worried about being able to dress casually but I need not worry. Parking was available and a bucket of balls was $12. For an extra $10 you can hit off the grass.
Great place to go to hit a few golf balls around. Great prices. The facilities are really good. Complimentary parking. The service is excellent. Specials from time to time. Open from May till September.
Great atmosphere!
Beautiful place
Great place to start from
It was my first time, and it was a great experience I will be back soon
Great clean course
Course design and green is great!
I am not a golfer, but I enjoyed the day here. My friend has all the equipment needed to hit the balls, and since it was a sunny day, it was fun to learn how to play (be prepared for laughs in case you are a beginner). For few bucks you get a bucket of golf balls that can last forever.
I love how the staffs are friendly and they are convenient and easy to approach.
Very Nice course. It has an area which allows you to putt and chip. The fairways are really wide and the windy conditions gives you a chance to really test your game...
Good vibes
No Nice and comfy
Specious place , lots of people visiting.(PR)
Easily the best maintained NYC municipal course - the greens are in amazing shape for the traffic. Open links style course is challenging, but forgiving for beginners and inconsistent players. Only downside is it is quite busy and can take over 6 hours to play 18 - rangers could definitely do a better job of keeping pace of play reasonable. See a lot of folks taking 10 practice swings like they are pros and chunk the ball 50 feet ahead. Tee times arent really held to or enforced either - can find yourself waiting as much as 30 min past your scheduled time.
Very friendly, courteous staff. The whole course is very well maintained. Due to the upgraded changes, the course has lost its natural wildlife, herons, rabbits, etc. The Canadian Geese are plentiful, as well as their poop all over the course. New shoe wipers should be placed very two or three holes. Courtesy of MPGC. Overall a good city golf experience .
Play the course often. I love the layout and the greens are fast and in good condition. You will have to pardon the construction of the dunes being built. They're a bit rocky at the moment but they give you a free drop...for now. My favorite nyc course.
Great experience
A full round of golf for under 50 dollars! You will need a car to get here.
Great place to golf. Course in tournament conditions
Decent round for the money but a NYC pace of play on the weekends.
Wonderful greens
Beautiful place quite and a lot of fun
I play every Tuesday lovely course cool bar love the service
Good place to have something to eat , drink and not think you ate in the city!
Best course in Brooklyn
Looks good
Fun playing there.
Course in good shape round would have moved well.. if the group in front had any idea about golf etiquette
Decent pace of play, but the staff was very rude. There may have been some sort of misunderstanding, but we were singled out and rushed through the course even though we were waiting for the group ahead of us on every hole and we stayed a full hole ahead of the group behind us the entire time. Regardless of any initial misunderstanding, it was unprofessional of the staff to single out our group even though pace of play overall was reasonable and the real problem was a series of groups ahead of us. The course itself was well maintained, but uninteresting. Needless to say, we will not be returning.
Nice location
Staff is very nice, n the rangers r very friendly. They helped look 4 my ball. Course is in Great shape
Good municipal course. Much better condition than Dyker and not as crowded. I only wish it were closer to public transportation.
I never been here to golf but I've been to events and the lay out is nice
Long flat booring course. Don't go during the summer months as the bugs will eat you alive
Had a great experience.
Course plays long. Under renovation
Sadly, an outing crept along in intense heat and resulted on the lengthiest round I've played, ever on this course, any season, any time! Conditions though, fairways and very fast greens r in excellent condition. Highly recommended.
Shame that there is no space to practice drivers on the driving range (as its irons only). In two buckets of balls there were about few that were broken and cracked open, which kinda sucked.
Perfect for weddings and party
Really challenging course to play with huge greens.
The staff at Marine Park provides a very good muni-golf experience. The course is a links-style track with fast, well-kept greens. The three rounds I've played there average about five hours, a bit slow but not intolerable for a public course. It is the staff that really stands out at Marine Park, from the pro shop to the 19th hole. During very hot rounds this August, marshals brought cold water to golfers throughout the round. They all really provide a friendly, helpful culture that is a pleasure to guests!
Management has made this place great.
Went to play at Marine Park last Sunday. Incredible experience. Got the deal from GolfNow for $10 with cart and went there to play with my dad. We played back tee which adds up to 7300 yardages.Really have to blast that driver. The staffs are friendly and even offer us free range ball. Definitely gonna visit again.
Good place for golf lovers.
Don't forget the hidden gem at this facility. They have a great pub fair menu and bar, awesome wings, great service and many fellow golfers enjoying the 19th hole. Open until 1 hour after sundown.
Great place for family and friends. Open year round.
Ehhhh. It's a Publicly Funded Golf course.
Nice scenes

Just stopped by to avoid a rain storm, but the menu looked good.
It's the best place to keep parties
It sucks not well kept
Not exciting nothing worth talking about
Always on great shape.....
Nice place to golf.
The course improves by the week. The managers are doing an amazing job. Friendly and nice....make us lady golfers feel welcome
Haven't been here but seems beauitful
These greens a just fantastic. Kudos to the staff @ Marine Park. I could play it every day.The staff was exceptional and very accommodating. The support staff even retrieved my glove which I forgot in my car. Thanks guys.
Jewel in Brooklyn. Great terrain. Great eats. Wonderful beer girl
Fantastically kept
This place isn't my cup of tea. Some of the views are nice, but I don't come here often.
Charging full price for horrible conditions!!!
Great venue.....
Great layout. Immaculate greens. Only downer is the 5.5 hr rounds. Range is irons only but the putting and pitching areas are great
Great place to golf tough greens must be a good at putting love it
Great staff, great food!
Very nice venue for events
63PCT MEDAL DAY ......
I see very huge look alike the park this cool ....
Not perfect but the best public golf course for the money in nyc. The rounds can be slow and the carts are beat up and don’t have parking brakes. The lay out is legit and the conditions are above average for over public courses.
Great course. Frie ndly atmosphere
Looks nice Only drove by!
Great option for a local round
