Lovely simple 18 hole Muni golf course in Queens. Usually play back nine early in the mornings when it's not crowded. Paul and Dominique are great folks Manning the pro shop.

Although it’s a short course(many par 3s and no par 5), it has a well-maintained course and greens and fee is very reasonable. Staffs are very friendly!

Great little course. The yardage is on the shorter end, but it generally makes up for this with more challenging layouts over hilly terrain. I'm not a huge driver of the ball, so for folks like me this is much more fun than run-of-the-mill courses which are all about how far you can hit the ball.

Good place to golf. Cheap. Some of the course isn't maintained as well as other courses. With that said, its a fairly easy course. There are no par 5s at all.

Kissena is a great casual course to go for a fun time with friends. It's local, simple, and inexpensive. It might not be the best maintained but thats not why you're coming here. Nothing really special about the clubhouse. While golfing if you're lucky you can see foxes walking around or just laying down watching you miss your putts.

Shorter than your average course (there are no par 5's). However, the course offers a fair amount of challenges with it's hilly layout. It is a public course in Queens, so it can get crowded. For a public course that gets this much traffic I feel the course maintenance is fair. In sum, it is a fun beautiful short course.

Great, challenging (narrow, and short) course! Public course, yet has a nice charm to it--very reminiscent of Dunwoodie GC (Yonkers, NY). Friendly staff, free parking, clean, and well maintained throughout. A weekend 9AM start usually lasts 4-4.5-hrs.

Very small and tight course. Packed for a midday weekday session. Greens were extremely slow and sand was so soft I thought it was quick sand. Had an enjoyable round. Played here twice and will come back. Not too many choices around the city.

Great small course to play on. Par 64 only. Somewhat challenging with an uphill par three 9 th. hole, level 3 handicap. Small course, but not easy to play as some may think.

Really great place to play golf, the greens are always kept clean, the staff is friendly, and its not busy between 11-3pm on weekdays. I definitely recommend this course for those that don't like to walk much

A short 18 hole golf course that is kept in decent shape. Even though the course isn't long, some of the holes are still challenging. A good course for someone just starting out in golf or looking to hone in their short game.

A VERY NICE PUBLIC COURSE. A HIDDEN GEM IN THE HEART OF QUEENS. NO PAR 5S ON THE COURSE, WATER HAZZARDS DON'T EXIST EITHER. LOTS OF PAR 3S TO SHARPEN YOUR SHORT GAME ON. AND NOW THAT I THINK OF IT A COUPLE OF PAR 4S THAT COULD MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR SHOOTING A PAR 5.

Kissena is a great course. The common knock is that it is short and there are no par 5's. I have yet to see someone shoot even par.

While working with FEMA during Sandy clean up I had a day off and was able to golf here. They took very good care of me with clubs and the rest. Had a great day golfing with two guys from the area telling me stories from the past.

Love this course but its a bit small. Been playing here for over 3 years and the staff is always helpful. Price is great, course is well maintained. Only issues is people arent fixing there divots. Last time i played was in early March.

If your not a serious golfer then it's a great course where you can have a great time with your friends. The course was well maintained your looking to be on the course at least 4 hours easley short course but fun. Good summer hangout will be back with more friends

The course is more of three stars but because the proximity to the highway and the fact that it is never really crowded makes this one of the better New York City golf courses period but keep in mind some of the greens are absolutely terrible.
